President-elect Trump on Monday was set to resume meetings with potential Cabinet picks and advisors in Trump Tower, where he remained holed up for most of last week as he met with early contenders for administration posts.

Trump's meetings Monday will include former Sen. Scott Brown, former Gov. Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich and Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, transition aides told reporters on a conference call.

The president-elect will also meet Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin and Jerome Adams, Indiana state health commissioner.

Brown, who lost his Massachusetts Senate seat in 2012, is a rumored contender to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs. Gingrich has said he does not intend to serve in Trump's Cabinet.

Other meetings on Trump's schedule Monday include Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, Chris Crane, president of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council, and Elaine Chao, former secretary of labor under President George W. Bush.

Transition aides told reporters Monday not to expect any imminent personnel announcements. The president-elect has already named Sen. Jeff Sessions as his nominee for attorney general and Rep. Mike Pompeo as his pick for head of the CIA.
