It seems the Senate would most likely attempt to pass a guest worker amnesty bill, which is what Bush is asking for. In other words, illegal aliens can adjust to guest worker status in the US, perhaps after paying a $2000 fine. Of course we know this is a scam, after they have been guest workers for six years, the pressure will be on to give them green cards.

Anyway, I think Democrats with an ABI score higher than .5 will support a guest worker amnesty, and the same for Republicans with a score of less than .8. I think Democrats with a score of less than .5 will not support the guest worker amnesty, because they want immidiate green cards for all 11 million illegal aliens. Republicans don’t have this hangup, all of them with low scores will do what Bush wants. The Republicans with high scores will likely only support guest workers who apply out side of the US. Which means illegal aliens in the US could not apply. This is what the bill by Kyl proposes, and he has a score of .82.

Anyway, using this criteria gives us 56 Senators who would likely support a guest worker amnesty. Which means it would pass if my assumptions are correct. You can see these 56 Senators seperated from the others in the list.

But since we know who would likely support a guest worker amnesty, we can target them.

Any of these 56 who are up for re-election can be pressed really hard. If you live in their state, get involved with selection of an opposition candidate (regardless of party) who opposes amnesty.

There are also a couple of high profile Senators who are not up for re-election that can be targeted. For example McCain and Spector can be targeted with recalls.

Our demands of these 56 Senators should be simple:

    1. No guest worker program

    2. No more anchor babies.

    3. Pass HR 4437 as written.

Those that ignore these demands will suffer the consequences.

For the 12 Republicans that have a score higher than .8, probably just e-mails saying you hope they support the above will suffice. Same goes for one Democrat, Robert Byrd, who has the highest ABI score of all, .95!!

As for the Democrats who have scores of less than .5, don’t do anything. Let them keep supporting immidiate full amnesty. There are not enough of them to pass it. The House would never pass it anyway. If we put pressure on them, they might switch to supporting a guest worker amnesty, which we don’t want either. So just let them keep supporting the full immidiate amnesty.

If anyone knows their Senators actual position on illegal aliens, I can update this list to put them in the correct category. The categories are:

    1. Full immidate amnesty
    2. Guest worker amnesty
    3. Expand current guest worker programs,
    illegal aliens not eligable
    4. Enforcement only

    OK everyone, please comment.

TimBinh!! This is absolutely outstanding work and I can not thank you enough. I know how much work this was to put this together but this will help us target the votes and see if Americans carry more weight than special interest globalists and a Wackident trying to end our nation as a Dung Pile of the WTO.

NC TEAM!! Look at that Dizzie Dole at .34. Burr looks good at .81, but he sure fell off the wagon on the WRONG SIDE during the CAFTA Vote. Dole of course was also on the WRONG SIDE of the CAFTA Vote.

Burr has possibiities, but I think he'll vote for the Guest Worker Program unless we turn him around.

Dizzie? Who knows. I know longer know this person, who she is or what's she's really about....but whatever it is....it doesn't look good.

Nice work my friend I will be traveling till before the first. but your statement on my boy Salazar will make me proceed with caution. Allard is up for reelection in Colorado and he is Bush's girlfriend. That will be and intersting one. He has mentioned opposition to amnesty but has not seen a visa he does not like. Spends them like a young married couple who's jobs were given to illegals

Great work, Tim! HOWEVER, I just don't know about Burr either even though his score was 0.81. I firmly believe that he is going to support BUSH in whatever he wants. AND, he doesn't come up for reeclection until 2010 so we can't even count on threats for him! AS FOR DODO DOLE--she is HOPELESS. I agree with you, Judy--I have NO IDEA WHERE SHE IS. All I do know is that she is AWOL from North Carolina! AND, has been for her entire term.

OF course, their scores will certainly not stop me from BOMBARDING THEM WITH OUR DEMANDS FOR NO GUESTWORKER PROGRAM. AND, to do away with this Anchor Baby travesty.

My biggest concern is that, even IF, and that is a BIG IF, the Senate DOES pass a decent bill without a guestworker program, Bush WILL VETO THAT ONE. And, I highly doubt there would be enough votes in the Senate to override a veto on this issue.

You need to do more than bombard your Senators, you need to threathen them with loss of their job. Can you recall Burr? Is Dole up for re-election?

I don't see the Senate just passing an enforcement bill, there will be some type of guest worker attachment. The question is, will it be like Kyl/Coryn wants for those outside the US only? Or will it be like Bush wants for illegals in the US?

Like I was saying before, if we also get enforcement and an end to anchor babies, guest workers from outside the US would be a good compromise. I am assuming the guest workers would replace 1/3 of the illegals already here. The other 2/3 would leave due to no work, or be deported.

If this happens then ALIPAC etc. would then be on guard to make sure the laws are enforced, and the temporary workers actually go home.

Dole doesn't come up for reelection until 2008 and Burr 2010 so North Carolina may no longer EXIST by then.
