Well, well, look what I found. I wouldn't doubt for a minute that some of these campaign contributors are members of Olmstead's group.

    Great job Tinybob.

FYI, don't know if this will help, but I found some Form 990s for the Idaho Dairymen's Association from 2003, 04. Click on this link and input:
    "Idaho Dairymen's Association."

You may be able to find some more current Form 990s by joining www.guidestar.org I believe it's free. There may or may not be worthwhile info in these IRS forms.

Another FYI. Here's Walter Minnik's campaign contribution info. He received lots of union $, and $15,115 from the Agricultural Services/Products Industry:

I sent an e-mail asking do they use e-verify, because it seems there is an alert about them employing illegal aliens, and do they give health screens.

Oh, and we need to do more research. Maybe everyone can help with that. The Senator said that there are many more businesses involved with this Idaho Business Coaltion for Immigration Reform, than just the Dairymen. We need to find out who these people are so we can boycott and raise hell with them. Kind of funny, don't you think, that they don't even have a website?

So, let's watch this thing for a few days and see what happens.
This is getting better, all organizations, including non profits, must register with most (I have done title work in 8 states and have yet to find a state where this is not required, but I am giving a benefit of a doubt here) secretary of states offices. I know you will find this shocking, but Idaho Business Coalition for Immigration Reform is not registered. In most (see previous disclaimer) states this would mean they can not collect or spend on red cent legally. You may want to check this out further
So, how do I check to see if they're registered?
I went to the Secretary of States site and searched the name. Normally it will give you what kind of entity they are (llp corporation, non-profit ect) and the board members or list of partners. There is NO RECORD OF THE IDAHO BUSINESS COALITION FOR IMMIGRATION REFORM filed with the secretary of state. This is unusual as they now can not open any banking accounts, rent or own property or office space ect.

You may want to call the SOS office and ask if this is required in Idaho, they may have strange exemption laws. If it is, and they have no record, you might ask what recourse you as a citizen would have if they are doing business illegally.

Thanks, Cayla. I'll check into this today. And thanks, Populist. As usual, if you follow the money, you find the culprits.

Has it ever been determined by law if promoting this LaRaza "avoid the cops" Handbook is illegal?

Ok there was some screaming when the Colorado Springs sheriffs office was accused of passing out this little gem, but no report of legal action although Republican state Rep. Douglas Bruce was beyond angry, as well he should be.
