I might vote for Huck in the primary just to stick it in mccains eye.

He is better than mccain at least.
Heck, at this point I'm starting to think the same thing (just thinking mind you). I'm sick of hearing the media claim that McCain is a shoe in. Besides that, at least Huckabee has given us more than McCain, Obama, and the Hildabeast have. I know we can't trust him, but we at least have his word to hold over his head (the signed pledges)! That may be enough to make him hesitate when we need him to. Just a thought.

I'm with you MW. I'm no fan of Huckabee either but Hunter on the ticket really makes me feel a lot more at ease in terms of getting rid of the leeches. Additionally, he is extremely intelligent, has political experience which makes me confident that he will keep Huckabee in check.

Hunter on the ticket along with the fact that Huck
has signed some of the pledges MIGHT
    make a difference

Far more preferable to McCain at any rate

I just don't think he can make up the numbers ,

Could Romney throw his delegates to Huck ?

Good question. However, the bigger question is if he could, would he?

Perhaps we should forward our desires to the Huckabee campaign?

Interestingly, with the exception of me and a handful of other hardcore Hunter supporters, Hunter has always had a lot of support as a second choice on the ALIPAC forums.

I had hoped Hunter would be the presidential candidate, but having him as a vice-presidential candidate would be BETTER than where he is now!

That is ironic. This could be good. I'm happy to see Duncan Hunter is not out of the picture I always liked him.

    I agree!!

First, Romney does not determine where his delegates go, the states do!!

Second, even with Romney's almost 300 delegates and Huckabee's 200 delegates----McCain still has 800 delegates, and he only needs 1100 to win.
