Some California law makers seem to disagree with him on this:

"California continues to be shortchanged by the federal government when it comes to picking up the tab for illegal immigrants in our prisons," said Sen. John J. Benoit, R-Bermuda Dunes.

"Unless we act decisively to claim what's rightfully ours, our state's finances will continue to hemorrhage by the hundreds of millions each year to this federal obligation," he said.

Arnold's attitude is typical and predictable .
The State will and we have known it for a long time just creep into third world oblivion as will the nation .
Until we the tax paying Americans hit rock bottom , they " that we elect " will never acknowledge the failures of their policies concerning illegal immigration .
The politicians know how we feel , they know what we demand and they could care less .
Pretty obvious by now .

I live in a Sanctuary City so I can appreciate the frustration and anger of the legal citizens of California that want our government to do the right thing, and our government consistently does the reverse, and fails them. We are in the midst of the worst Depression our country has ever seen and yet our government is unfairly taxing us for everything that is not nailed down and telling us we must tighten our seat belts, and accept more taxes and a lower quality of life. And yet our government is taking our hard earned tax dollars to accommodate illegals welfare and social services when the illegals should not be getting a dime. And too, the illegals don't pay anything into our system. This is a blatant disrespect for the American people. Americans in every state want our government to enforce our laws, use attrition strategies, deport illegals and send the anchors packing with them. The government owes this to us.

Perhaps Arnold's wife has influenced him because he behaves more like a Democrat than Republican in that he has a “let them eat cakeâ€

Sometime in early 80's we decided as a nation to stop manufacturing goods, outsource all jobs and import poor under educated people for voting and adding to the welfare roles. I just seen a talking head today on TV say, "get over it the manufacturing is not coming back" if this is true we need to turn off the lights and go elsewhere because as we continue to import millions of people who will pay the burden, simply the middle class is dying, this is no joke folks like California the rest of the nation will follow, we have fools for leaders who appear to believe the golden trough of the American taxpayer will never dry up, unless we find common sense or give it CPR America will die and the country the men of D-Day fought for is gone.

how in the hell can a governor be so damn stupid do realize all the negative these illegals bring to his state.
All he needs to do is look at the reports out of LA County that say 39 million a month go to illegals.

He's HAPPY?...Let's bombard his office with Happy Faces...Maybe we could get help from our local radio stations; John and Ken here in the L.A. area are great for this stuff...

Arnold has the wrong attitude. It's a percentage of the budget that can be cut to correct the problem. Stop ignoring it!!! Billions of dollars is still billions of dollars!!!

P.S. The comment section at on the Sacramento Bee article is getting post after post after post. Hundreds are flying in. I don't remember ever seeing the numbers of post like this in such a short time.
