True1: Hard line immigration candidates lost the elections 'cause they forgot that illegal immigrants don't vote, but they have citizen family and friends, a lot of them.

True2: Of course it's about race, as most American aren't interested on the collor of the new immigranst skin, they didn't "buy" the argument that it's "not about the race, we just want to accomplish with the law". Hey if that's true, be happy: pretty soon there will come a legalization for the paople that earned it, so there won't be illegals on this country. Isn't that what you want?

True 3: Illegals pay taxes; I'm an illegal myself and I'm pretty sure that I paid more taxes alone last year than the whole "ALIPAC: together, For those that will say that if I am an illegal and I paid taxes I must have an stolen SSN, that's not the case: I have an ITIN number, issued by the IRS.

First off, since when did illegal aliens become a race? this is not about a race, its about upholding the law. What part of that don't you understand?
It doesn't matter if you're German, Italian, Mexican, Asian, whatever.
Its about doing it the right way to become a citizen.
Using the excuse of "I need to provide a better life for my family." does not in any way give justification to break another country's laws.

You and any other illegal don't just "earn" legalization simply by working here for 5 years doing crappy jobs for crappy wages.
We have a system in place to earn you citizenship, and illegals simply just don't want to play by the rules.
You may have paid taxes, but how much did you actually get back? If you got back more than you put it, then you DIDN'T PAY TAXES.

Finally, NO THAT IS NOT WHAT WE WANT. What we want is to have our elected officials uphold the law and deport all trolls like you who have broken the law to get here and protect our nation.

An ITIN number is only for tax purposes. I had one when I first came here and it said right on it that it cannot be used as a SSN. Second of all you people piss me off! I came here and went to school to remain legal while waiting for my immigration papers. University was expensive as I was considered an international student. Tuition and books cost me over $47,000 for the 2 years it took me to get my degree. I also needed proof of medical insurance, I couldn't work and had to take 4 courses or more for all but summer semesters and my final one. If I would have worked illegally during that period I would have made over $95,000. I was offered a job supervising health care aides making $800 a week as I used to be a registered nurse. I played by the rules as I didn't want ICE kicking my door in the wee hours of the morning.
Go back home and return only if you play by the rules!

It is truly difficult to carry on an intelligent discussion of the real issue of illegal immigration with those that support it. I don't think they will ever get it, nor will they be truly satisfied with whatever plan the federal gov passes, even though "it's a federal issue, not a local or state issue..." Blah, blah, blah!!!

Many illegals think it is their God given right to come and do what they want. I don't know how many of you watched the segment on the illegal problem in Georgia that was shown on CNN under Broken Boarders. The one woman they showed had that attitude. She was caught driving without a validl driver's license. In Georgia a Mexican driver's license is not considered valid. The woman had the nerve to say: "I don't know why I went to jail. I'm not a criminal!" First of all she was here illegally, she worked illegally until she was fired and drove without a valid driver's license. They just don't want to get it.
