    (Natural News) According to a study, intermittent fasting may offer significant health benefits for those with Type 2 diabetes.
    Researchers who conducted the study found that the dietary intervention resulted in complete remission for more than half of the study volunteers.
    Details of the study were published in the AAA Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism.
    What is intermittent fasting?

    Intermittent fasting or time-restricted eating is an eating plan that involves consuming calories only during a specific “window” of time, which is often for periods of eight to 10 hours.
    Fasting means your body naturally gets fewer overall calories.

    Over half of patients with diabetes in remission after intermittent fasting

    For the study, researchers observed volunteers with Type 2 diabetes who followed an intermittent fasting routine for three months. The patients experienced significant improvements in their condition.
    Scientists revealed that an impressive 90 percent of the 36 patients were able to reduce their prescribed treatments, such as insulin and blood sugar-lowering medications.
    At least 55 percent of the participants experienced total remission. They remained free of Type 2 diabetes for at least one year after discontinuing their medications.
    Remission is defined as hemoglobin A1C (HbA1c) levels under 6.5. HbA1c is a measure of blood sugar control over time.
    Dongbo Liu, the study’s lead author, thinks the study results can offer significant benefits for the more than 537 million adults across the globe with Type 2 diabetes.

    But how did intermittent fasting help the participants with diabetes?
    Researchers found that fasting was beneficial due to the body’s sleep-wake cycle or circadian rhythms.
    They suggested that following a “consistent daily short window of feeding” can improve someone’s well-being by helping to align the circadian rhythms of multiple organs. This then helps the body with the coordination of different processes and helps to manage diseases.
    They also warned that chronic circadian rhythm disruption, which shift workers often go through, may compromise the immune system. The disruption also increases the risk for chronic metabolic diseases by triggering various health issues like weight gain, glucose intolerance and fatty liver disease.
    Intermittent fasting offers benefits for people who are obese or have cancer or heart disease

    The study on intermittent fasting and Type 2 diabetes built on earlier research that looked into the benefits of intermittent fasting. According to data, intermittent fasting can also help reduce body weight, even though volunteers are not usually instructed to consciously reduce caloric intake.
    Recent human studies also suggest that time-restricted eating can help reduce the risk of obesity, heart disease and diabetes.
    Experts also think that intermittent fasting can help improve glucose sensitivity, lower high blood pressure, reduce inflammation and decrease unhealthy cholesterol levels.

    Intermittent fasting offers benefits for people with Type 2 diabetes, but the researchers highlighted that “maintaining a consistent, long overnight fast can significantly reduce the risk of chronic disease.”
    Individual recommendations vary, but the eating window that is often between eight and 12 hours long should not “open” until at least one hour has passed after waking. The eating window must also “close” at least three hours before the onset of an eight-hour sleep cycle.
    The scientists emphasized that consistency is important and that those with Type 2 diabetes should maintain the same schedule on workdays and weekends.
    If you have Type 2 diabetes, consult your physician before starting intermittent fasting.
    Intermittent fasting and diet tips for diabetics

    The following foods should be part of a balanced diet if you have Type 2 diabetes:

    • Beans
    • Cage-free (pasture-raised) eggs, which are full of high-quality protein

    • Cruciferous veggies
    • Extra-virgin olive oil
    • Nuts

    Intermittent fasting plans vary depending on various factors. Some people may restrict calories two or three days a week or limit eating to certain periods of the day.
    There are also stricter plans that include fasting for up to 36 hours at a time for seven or 14 days, but the latter isn’t ideal if you have Type 2 diabetes.
    Whatever your IF plan is, you need to find one that you can stick with long-term because consistency is key for your future health.
    Prepare for side effects
    Intermittent fasting may cause uncomfortable side effects like cramps, constipation, diarrhea or headaches, especially if you are not used to the time-restricted eating plan.
    You should also listen to your body. If you don’t feel fine, stop fasting. Intermittent fasting can make you hungry, but you shouldn’t be lethargic or start throwing up after you change your eating habits.
    Eat nutritious foods
    You may be eating less food, but you still need to follow a balanced diet that includes whole, unprocessed foods, such as non-starchy vegetables, protein and healthy fats.
    You should also take a multivitamin and drink lots of water to prevent dehydration and headaches. Following a balanced diet will help you lose or manage your weight and keep your blood sugar steady as you fast.

    Primary active ingredient in Tamiflu comes from pine needles

    When it comes to covid and other forms of influenza and the common cold, pine needles are a powerful, yet widely overlooked, remedy that could have saved countless lives over the past several years.
    Pine needles are loaded with shikimic acid, which just so happens to be the primary active ingredient in the antiviral drug Oseltamivir, which is also commercially known as Tamiflu.
    Tamiflu was pushed during the “pandemic” as a cure for the Chinese Virus, while little, if any, attention was afforded to the plants from which its constituents, most notably shikimic acid, are derived.
    First discovered in 1885 by Dutch chemist Johan Fredrik Eykman, shikimic acid is also known in biology as the Shikimate Pathway. This pathway is crucial for life, involving a seven-step pathway used by bacteria, fungi, archaea, algae, some protozoans, and plants for the biosynthesis of vitamins, folates, and the aromatic amino acids phenylalanine, tyrosine, and tryptophan.
    “These amino acids help produce neurotransmitters and compounds like serotonin, melatonin, epinephrine, dopamine, CoQ10, and thyroid hormone – specifically through the help of beneficial gut bacteria,” Schuttler explains.
    Another thing shikimic acid does is support healthy platelet and cardiovascular function in humans. It also supports a healthy gut and digestive system while improving the integrity and functionality of the myelin sheath, a fatty substance that surrounds neurons and functions as “insulation” for all of their electrical communication.
    “Shikimic acid is also known to exert anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-inflammatory properties, amongst other important properties,” Schuttler adds.
    Perhaps not surprisingly, many of the chemical contaminants that plague the toxic American food supply interfere with the shikimate pathway. Various pesticides and herbicides, including the infamous Roundup (glyphosate) herbicide from Monsanto, are enemies of the shikimate pathway.
    “The pesticide creates a few different harmful and noteworthy effects, such as inhibiting the crucial cytochrome p450 enzymes as well as suppressing the function of the p53 gene. This particular gene is known loosely by scientists as the ‘Guardian of the Genome,'” Schuttler further notes.
    “With respect to the shikimate pathway, glyphosate targets this seven-step process by inhibiting a key enzyme known as EPSPS (5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase). When EPSPS is inhibited, the building of the amino acids necessary for the production of proteins is blocked and the plant dies.”

    Before your body can use vitamin D, your liver must change it into another form called 25 hydroxyvitamin D, or 25(OH)D. Your kidneys use 25(OH)D to make “active vitamin D,” which lets your body use calcium to build bone and help other cells work properly.
    The serum concentration of 25(OH)D, also referred to as the cholecalciferol test, ergocalciferol test, vitamin D2 test and vitamin D3 test, is currently the most accurate way to measure how much vitamin D is in your blood so you can treat it with supplements, according to the Vitamin D Fact Sheet for Health Professionals published by the Office of Dietary Supplements at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
    Doctors may request a 25 (OH)D test to monitor vitamin D insufficiency (a mild decrease), vitamin D deficiency (a greater decrease) or vitamin D toxicity or hypervitaminosis D, which is a rare but potentially serious condition that occurs when you have excessive amounts of this vitamin in your body.
    Those who are at high risk include:
    Babies who are exclusively breastfeeding. While breast milk is the best source of nutrients for babies, it likely won’t provide enough vitamin D so their bodies can absorb calcium and phosphorus.     People who have a disease that affects the intestines. These include people with Crohn’s disease, pancreatic enzyme insufficiency, untreated celiac disease and those who have had certain sections of their bowel removed.
    People who have dark skin. People with darker skin pigmentation are at a greater risk for vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency because the high presence of melanin in their skin reduces their ability to produce vitamin D, as explained in a study published in the journal Dermatology.
    Your doctor may also want you to take a 24 (OH)D test if you’ve already been diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency to see if the treatment prescribed is working.
    You will be instructed not to eat anything for four to eight hours before the blood test, which usually takes less than five minutes. A healthcare professional will take a blood sample from a vein in your arm using a small needle. A quick finger prick will more likely provide enough for a blood sample in children and infants.

    (Natural News) New research published in the journal Environmental Science & Technology Letters reveals in-depth how deadly per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances, also known as PFAS, are leaching out of plastic containers and contaminating the food products they contain.
    Confirming what earlier research also found, the study focused on the tendency of PFAS to contaminate various pesticide products via the plastic storage containers that hold them. It turns out that the very same thing is happening to food products stored in plastic containers.
    The data is so disturbing and serious that the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a warning to the public about the potential for direct PFAS contamination of food.
    Scientists from Notre Dame University tested a variety of products from ketchup and mayonnaise to shampoo and detergents, discovering along the way that PFAS are leaching right out of plastic containers into the food and other consumer products they contain.
    “Not only did we measure significant concentrations of PFAS in these containers, we can estimate the PFAS that were leaching off creating a direct path of exposure,” said study co-author Graham Peaslee, PhD, a professor of physics in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Notre Dame.

    EPA issues new standards for two PFAS, PFOA and PFOS, limiting their concentration in drinking water to no more than four parts per trillion (ppt)

    The revelations prompted the EPA to take further regulatory action against PFAS. From now on, two specific PFAS, PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) and PFOS (perfluorooctane sulfonic acid), will be limited in drinking water to no more than four parts per trillion (ppt).
    This is a good start, but the EPA’s regulatory action is limited in scope in that it only requires monitoring a couple PFAS – and there are many more hiding out there beyond just PFOA and PFOS.
    The problem stems from companies’ use of HDPE, or high-density polyethylene, in containers. This type of plastic can be either fluorinated or not, but it remains unclear how to tell with the naked eye unless a manufacturer specifically labels the product as non-fluorinated.
    Fluorinating HDPE plastic containers “allows for cheaper and more efficient production of plastics that contain desirable properties, primarily increased barrier properties,” the study explains.
    Put simply, fluorine in plastic helps to protect its contents against degradation from gases, water vapor, light, and other factors that can negatively impact food and other consumer products over time.
    Everything from foodstuffs to shampoo to motor oil to detergents to pesticides is stored in HDPE plastic containers that are oftentimes fluorinated. This represents a serious public health threat as perpetual PFAS exposure over time can lead to an accumulation of the toxins inside people’s bodies.
    For their research, scientists from Notre Dame collected food samples from glass jars and carefully placed them into HDPE containers, both fluorinated and non-fluorinated. They then tested contamination levels using plain water, methanol, and acetone as reference points.
    The food samples added to both treated and untreated HDPE containers, which included ketchup, olive oil, and mayonnaise, were then analyzed for their PFAS levels. This was followed by further tests at varying temperatures, i.e., some of the plastic containers were frozen while others were heated.
    “Results from even nonfluorinated containers represented a risk, ranging from 10 parts per trillion to 880 parts per trillion. Fluorinated containers hit between an astounding 45,120 and 94,810 ppt,” reported The Defender about the findings.
    “These numbers include a summation of a range of PFAS analytes, including PFOA, PFDA, PFBA and many others.”

    (Natural News) According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), common food dyes like Red 40 and Yellow 5 are made from petroleum and pose many health risks.
    The health risks linked to these artificial colors in food include hyperactivity in children, allergic reactions and cancer.
    Back in 2008, the CSPI petitioned the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to ban the use of harmful food dyes.
    The British government and the European Union took action to help end the use of dyes throughout Europe. Unfortunately, at least 15 million pounds of food color additives are still sold annually in the United States.
    These food dyes are used to make food more appealing and increase sales as a result. Adding to the issue of harmful food dyes is the mindset of consumers preferring food that they think looks “fresh and attractive.” Sadly, this food misconception is held by many shoppers in the country.     Health risks linked to common food dyes

    Several food dyes have already been banned because of the health problems associated with them. But some are still permitted by the FDA.
    According to research, some of these food dyes, like Red No. 3, can damage DNA in human liver cells and disrupt the function of the thyroid.
    Parents should also think twice when buying groceries because children who consume food with Red No. 3 are at greater risk for a lifetime of health problems. Additionally, children’s foods often have the most dyes in them.
    Michael F. Jacobson, CSPI’s executive director, warned that food dyes are synthetic chemicals that do not improve the nutritional quality or safety of foods. Instead, these dyes only “trigger behavior problems in children and, possibly, cancer in anybody.”
    The FDA has not done much to eliminate Red No. 3 from the food supply. The agency recognized its potential to cause cancer as early as 1985, and banned it from any products that go on the skin. However, food dyes are still being used in foods and many of Big Pharma’s medications.
    In September 2012, the International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine reported that Red Dye No. 3 causes cancer in animals, which suggests that the same thing could happen to humans. Data also suggests that some dyes consumers are often exposed to are carcinogenic. Yet, pressure from the food additive industry keeps the FDA from banning these dyes altogether.

    (Natural News) Chinese researchers have developed a new oral Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccine” for cows that causes the animals to produce mRNA poisons right in their milk.
    Citing claims that covid is still allegedly presenting “numerous challenges to global health,” the Chinese scientists came up with a new way to vaccinate people via the food supply.
    Their paper explains that the oral mRNA vaccine is based on “bovine milk-derived exosomes,” or milk-exos, that encode the SARS-CoV-2 receptor-derived binding domain (RBD) as an immunogen.
    They found that RBD mRNA delivered through milk-derived exosomes is capable of producing secreted RBD peptide in 293 cells in vitro, as well as stimulating neutralizing antibodies against RBD in test mice.
    “These results indicated that bovine milk-derived exosome-based mRNA vaccine could serve as a new strategy for preventing SARS-CoV-2 infection,” the study abstract explains. “Meanwhile, it also can work as a new oral delivery system for mRNA.”

    Is covid mRNA becoming a new food additive for public health?

    Since apparently not enough people voluntarily took the mRNA injections foisted upon the world through Operation Warp Speed, communist China has taken it upon itself to develop a food-based oral inoculation that people will now take involuntarily.
    If such inoculations become commercialized, it could soon become the norm to get “vaccinated” every time you eat a bowl of cereal or an ice cream cone. If mRNA is hidden inside commercial, non-organic milk and dairy products, then nobody will even know they are eating a vaccine.
    This is how the powers that be plan to “jab” the entire world for covid again, and again, and again: via the food supply. And once again, communist China is leading the way in normalizing food-based oral vaccines for public consumption.
    We know from this latest research that mice fed the mRNA-laced milk absorbed it through their gut. The mRNA then made its way into the rodents’ bloodstream and lymphatic tissue as demonstrated by the production of antibodies inside the mice’s bodies.
    As mentioned above, there is also evidence to suggest that commercial meat from mRNA-injected cows and other food animals becomes tainted with mRNA. This means that every time a person consumes a conventional steak derived from cattle jabbed for covid, he or she is likewise getting vaccinated for covid as well.
    “Please all ranchers: do not vaccinate the cattle, chickens, etc.,” one of our readers wrote as a request to American cattlemen who might be considering using the mRNA shots in their herds.
    “Come up with organic meat producers who label their meat, grass-fed and unvaccinated – no mRNA. Raise your own meat animals when possible.”
    Another wrote that in Washington state, the health department is already requiring animals shipped in from out of state to be jabbed for “fake avian flu.”
    “I believe they are giving them diseases or destroying their immune systems to create the next plandemic – just like they did with ‘regular flu shots in people’ to create the last one,” this same commenter added about the forced vaccination policy for out-of-state animals.
    Someone else asked what the point actually is of these mRNA shots they are now trying to force on animals.
    “Is it for covid?” this person asked. “I see mRNA vaccine but not what it is vaccinating for? Is this really gene editing or just self-assembling robots?”
    “They are determined to get that crap into us one way or another. How do we fight this?”
