Goes to show just how dumb Obama is! He didn't even know that Russia HOLDS VETO POWER and thus the UN can do NOTHING!

The more OBAMA is questioned, the more he reveals his ignorance and/or socialist tendencies... the Charlie Gibson/ABC question about the effect of increased taxes on corporations (government actually collects MORE taxes due to increased economic activity) showed that OBAMA is interested in (perceived) fairness rather than the EFFECT of his policies

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION was not an issue in this election because the pro-side has convinced the country that this is a "nation of immigrants" and that we should not stop immigration (which we DO NOT) advocate.... not enough people are PERSONALLY affected by that lawlessness and corruption at our Federal and State governments (hey, dumb it down to the level of corrupt Mexico...).... they talk about "nation of immigrants", as if we were the exception in the world.... in fact MEXICO and the rest of Latin America and many other places in the world are all nations of immigration....

the other fallacy is this: even if we need (?) so many immigrants/cheap labor, why do we allow this DE FACTO DISCRIMINATION IN OUR POLICIES THAT FAVOR MEXICANS? and these are the same folks who justify THEIR breaking of our laws by accusing our pre-1965 policies of favoring white Europeans.... can a sovereign nation not decide on its own who and how many to allow into our collective home? foreigners can't decide that, especially foreigners whose own country policies selectively allow immigration to take place...

I did, which was largely why I voted for Pat Buchanan in '00
