I just called him again and they are keeping a scorecard on people for and against, per staffer, "so far, it's about even". He needs to get some more calls against the Dream Act. Staffer said they're only counting those who call with a valid zip code and county. Here's a few zips you can use:

    87109, 87122, 87112, 87017, 87110 all in Bernalillo County (Burn-ul-eo)

    87015 Santa Fe County
The score may be even, but they need to be reminded that the vast majority of callers in support of the amendment are not legal citizens of this country, and have no vote. Conversely, those opposed are legal U.S. citizens. They represent us, not illegal aliens.

They have pandered to the illegals so long that they and the illegals think they represent them. WE NEED TO REMIND THEM THEY WORK FOR US!

I got the same answers from Voinovich, Warner and Cochran-no position.

I cannot get through to Hutchinson's or McConnell's- am still trying.

Called Byrd's office and they have no position as yet. Her first question is where am I calling from. Yet, she let me speak. I told her, "we had three Mexican students drape Mexican flags over their graduation gowns. That is a complete slap in the face to American citizens who have given them a free education and we are tired of it. Plus I don't illegal alien kids getting in front of line before our kids in military who want educational benefits.

Not friendly but obviously getting calls.

Just talked with Sen. Warner's office. She said the senator didn't know if the bill would even come up. I said if it does come up how will the senator vote. She said he hasn't announced his intention. I said is there something we could provide the senator to help him decide. She said they were just keeping track of the calls and notifying him of the tally. I think this is a bunch of baloney, but here is his number anyway. (202) 224-2023

Exactly what I said and the staffer said they have no way of knowing who is illegal. I suggested she could tell by those who speak English.
