A day after being awarded an honorary doctorate by a local university US President Barrack Obama’s grandmother hosted a party at her Kogelo home in Siaya on Tuesday.

Two bulls, three sheep and four goats were slaughtered for the many visitors who trooped to the home to congratulate the 88-year-old grandmother for the honour.

Mama Sarah Obama was awarded a honorary Doctor of Letters by the Great Lakes University of Kisumu on Monday for her role in helping widows and orphans at her Kogelo village.

A similar feast had been organised after Mr Obama ascended to the White House.

The day is now marked with cultural activities annually.

Mama Sarah appealed to the public to dedicate their time and effort to ensuring that they take care of orphans and the vulnerable people in the society.

“This is a show of blessing from God, since I have always dedicated my time to tend to the orphans. Even the US president passed through my hands,â€

It never ceased to amaze me how much lawlessness and corruption could be compacted into 68 square miles.

But I never realized how much sheer stupidity could coexist in those same 68 square miles.

New Congress Will Consider Impeachment

The new Congress elected in November will surprise everyone. They will seriously consider impeaching Barack Obama.

Growing under the radar of the mainstream media is a movement that is gathering momentum.

Over one million citizens have signed petitions calling on the US Congress to impeach Barack Hussein Obama. Some of the soon to be elected new members of Congress are amongst those who have signed up, and they are not about to be cowered by establishment Republicans scared silly of the issue.

Ultimately it comes down to a commonly shared belief amongst Tea Party activists that Barack Obama is systematically trying to hurt America. Obama, the argument goes, is not an incompetent boob in over his head. Nor is he is not some well-meaning community organizer who has seen his plans go astray.

Barack Obama is a dishonest, manipulative liar who actually is pursuing an agenda that he hopes will take America off the international leadership stage. He wants America to fail so that the vision of Internationalist socialists can be realized. America is hated by the elite intellectuals of the world because we have been the single biggest roadblock to their plans to establish a one world governing system with them in charge.

Americans has consistently rejected socialism. Whether it is Hillarycare or Obamacare, Americans are speaking with a loud clear voice against socialism.

The left hates America because of our belief in God, our belief in rugged individualism, our belief in private property and our belief in the right to Keep and Bear Arms.

It is only through impeachment that the new Congress can send Barack Obama a clear and unambiguous message that he does not have carte blanche to run roughshod over America.

Impeachment is the political tool given by the founders to correct abuse by a President. Impeachment is often misunderstood because of confusion about what exactly constitutes an impeachable offense.

Former-President Gerald Ford, while serving in the House of Representatives, said an impeachable offense was, “whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history.â€

We expect the Dems to lose the House; then the House could very well vote to impeach Mr. Obama. But for the Senate to convict him on the impeachment charges brought by the House, the Dems need to lose at least 10 of the 16 Senate seats they have in play and win none of the other 18. Certainly, anything is possible, but I wouldn't count on that happening, given the focused election fraud we expect in some key states. We have an almost limitless reservoir of unhappy campers we can encourage to vote, but the socialists and progressives have an almost limitless supply of ballots.

I have yet to find anything about this Sept. 21 hearing.

The court martial itself is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010.
