Roger Ailes, the President of FOX News, sent out a "be nice to Obama" e-mail to the staff shortly after the election, encouraging them to indulge a honeymoon period. That's the way it goes in the "hard-hitting news biz" ya know.

For the rest of us who are not wealthy and maybe don't have lots of time and resources available, we have to make certain we ourselves and our families are strong, and then we have to keep the grass root fires of Americanism burning. We have to learn more law and become savvy in our techniques of law enforcement against our enemies within our own government.

We must be persistent in our efforts to continue our traditional American way of life.

And never back down. And never give up.

Socialism has never been successful and won't be successful here in America either. Socialism is a loser's philosophy, but the dark side of it is that it usually kills what it infests. Another reason for individual strength.
Highlander I think you are on the right path. We need to follow a multi-pronged attack to solve this problem. There is at this point only 2 major attorneys chasing the legal issues Dr. Orly Taitz and Phil Berg. Unfortunately Mr. Berg is considered a black helicopter conspiracy theorist nut job. I still say that even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while. I think that our hopes in the court case should be in Dr. Orly Taitz. Unfortunately, filing fees and other costs are mounting, no doubt, for Dr. Orly Taitz. I would suggest that as many as can go to http://www.drorly.blogspot.com/ and click on the donate button. Please go and give what you can. It is handled through Pay Pal and it is a secure website. We all may not be independently wealthy but corporately we can certainly make a difference. You would be surprised how much you can raise at $10 or $25 per person when we all stand together.

The next thing you touched on was a marketing push. I am a builder not a marketer. We need to bring together some great ideas and find some people amongst us and our circle of friends, family and co-workers that can bring those ideas to pass. When there is only 10 - 30 people yelling and screaming there are easily ignored. However, if there are millions standing up speaking in one voice they cannot be ignored.

I see this forum as a brilliant clearing house for ideas that we can discuss, refine and then fund and implement. Sure there are some that read these posts so they can stir up problems and try to get us discouraged and quit.

Here's the funny thing, and it's no act of rationalizing at all, but in all the cases that arrived at SCOTUS so far, it is possible to pick out what might have been a technical or procedural or timing defect which caused the Justices to reject hearing the case. Anything cropping up before Congress acted to confirm the Electoral College vote had the distinct possibility of finding "Political Question" doctrine acting as a barrier. The cases afterwards had the possibility of presenting such incomplete factual records from below that a remand back to the lower court might have been compelled.

I don't see SCOTUS as necessarily entirely backing away from deciding on the merits. Rather, in such a touchy context and after the firestorm set off by the 2000 election and the case of Gore v. Bush, I can see SCOTUS wanting to await a case that arrives with no "hangups" and one that can be cleanly decided without being attacked on grounds that don't address the core issue.

As far as none of the Congress people registering objections (with the possible exception of that one guy who appeared to be trying to raise his hands to speak and who got surrounded on the floor of the chamber by others, all of it on video), the Dems certainly couldn't be expected to challenge "their" party's new President. But McCain put the GOP in an awkward position too. There's a lot of rumor running around the Internet that McCain acted "honestly" and that "to his credit" he turned over his birth certificate when the demand was made on him. Like heck he did. Ha! He got a reporter to do a"put up job" in the press repeating the lies he had been telling about having been born on the military base so he could attempt to claim he was on soil under "U.S.jurisdiciton." An outside third party finally got the real goods directly from Panama, later on, in the summer.

This blogger is absolutely right in accusing McCain of lying and covering up, because that's exactly what he did.

John and Barack are alike in more ways than just their shared vote in favor of the bailout. They're both "certificate dodgers" but one of them just happens to have been awkwardly caught, although the mainstream media hasn't trumpted that information.

"We the People of the United States of America" are entitled to know the legal qualifications of the President and Commander in Chief. For the better good and National Security of "We the People of the United States" and for Absolute Command of the Military Forces of the United States. I whole heartedly support the efforts of Dr. Orly Taitz, ESQ for taking legl action to determine whether or not Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, Citizen of Indonesia and possibly citizen of Kenya, is eligible to become President of the United States and Commander in Chief of the United States Armed Forces.

Don't count on anything damaging about Barack Obama coming out of the Passport Office. Keep in mind that Sen. Biden chaired the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, which has oversight of the Passport Office, before Mr. Obama selected him for Vice-President.

Obama's Intelligence Adviser Involved in Security Breach

    Monday, January 12, 2009 1:46 PM

Obama's top terrorism and intelligence adviser, John O. Brennan, heads a firm that was cited in March[, 2008,] for breaching sensitive files in the State Department's passport office, according to a State Department Inspector General's report released this past July.

The security breach, first reported by the Washington Times and later confirmed by State Department spokesman Sean McCormack, involved a contract employee of Brennan's firm, The Analysis Corp., which has earned millions of dollars providing intelligence-related consulting services to federal agencies and private companies.

During a State Department briefing on March 21, 2008, McCormack confirmed that the contractor had accessed the passport files of presidential candidates Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and John McCain, and that the inspector general had launched an investigation.

Sources who tracked the investigation tell Newsmax that the main target of the breach was the Obama passport file, and that the contractor accessed the file in order to "cauterize" it.

One man's terrorist is another man's undocumented worker.

Unless we enforce laws against illegal aliens today,
tomorrow WE may wake up as illegals.

The last word: illegal aliens are ILLEGAL!

    State's Rights

One part of our American history I learned after having attended the government schools as a child, was that the "American Civil War' was primarily a war over state's rights (and not over slavery as I had been taught). The North wanted a strong centralized government, and the South wanted decentralized government with strong state's rights. We know who won that conflict. We also could imagine how our country might have evolved if the South had won.

At any rate, I have thought about the idea of stronger state's rights for years, and believe it is one part of our country's long term solution. If you have a large problem (national), and are able to break it down into smaller, more manageable segments (individual states), solving the individual segments solves the whole problem.

On Dr. Orly's site (http://defendourfreedoms.us/) I found the following Oklahoma House Joint Resolution that supports the sovereignty of Oklahoma's in all matters not reserved by the federal government.

Thinking about things we can do to recapture control of our country and its federal government, this resolution, enacted in all 50 states (sorry Barack, not 57) might be a good start. We also need to find more people like Mike Ritze.

    ================

OKLAHOMA HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION - HJR1003

    AS INTRODUCED

A Joint Resolution claiming sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over certain powers; serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates; providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed; and directing distribution.

WHEREAS, the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States reads as follows:

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."; and

WHEREAS, the Tenth Amendment defines the total scope of federal power as being that specifically granted by the Constitution of the United States and no more; and

WHEREAS, the scope of power defined by the Tenth Amendment means that the federal government was created by the states specifically to be an agent of the states; and

WHEREAS, today, in 2009, the states are demonstrably treated as agents of the federal government; and

WHEREAS, many federal laws are directly in violation of the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States; and

WHEREAS, the Tenth Amendment assures that we, the people of the United States of America and each sovereign state in the Union of States, now have, and have always had, rights the federal government may not usurp; and

WHEREAS, Article IV, Section 4 says, “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Governmentâ€

I would love to see a state stand up to federal blackmail and simply say, that is ok, we do not want your money. I would GLADLY pay higher state taxes to make up for it.
