Romney & Son Investigated For 8 Billion Ponzi Scheme

Romney & Son Investigated for 8 Billion Ponzi Scheme

Mitt Romney and his son Tagg Romney have been implicated in a 8.5 billion dollar ponzi scheme with Wall Street investors Allen Stanford and James M. Davis.

The pair are not cleared including their three partners in a court document verified, ongoing legal proceeding involving selling fraudulent CD’s to potential investors.

The statement of fact, includes SIBL, Stanford International Bank, SGC Stanford Capital Management and the associates R. Allen Stanford, ( Allen Stanford) and James M. Davis stole money from investors through fraud. The group bilked investors by diverting funds to their own lifestyles through bonus money, salaries and compensation packages.

The Stanford Financial Group now in receivership headed by Allen Stanford sold investments described as a “well-diversified portfolio”. Instead Stanford diverted the money to finance his own lavish lifestyle which include: jet planes, yacht, pleasure crafts, luxury cars, homes, travel on a company credit card.

    Tagg Romney

Allen Stanford, James M. Davis and Laura Pendergest-Holt through SIBL (the bank) Stanford International Bank) hid the fraud by continuing to buy CD’s (Certificate of Deposit) and fabricated the performance of their investments. (More court documents: HERE) More information on the legal procedures: HERE A court date was set for January 23, 2012 but according to various reports Allen Stanford is incompetent to stand trial.

Mitt Romney and Son Tagg in 2008 invested in Allen Stanford’s ponzi scheme to the tune of 10 million dollars initially in Solamere Capital a seed investment and received 1 million in returns. Tagg Romney joined in to help Solamere Capital located in Charlotte, North Carolina with three other prominent brokers.

Tagg Romney is quoted as saying he was proud of his investment with Solamere now run by former executives of Stanford, ” They’re friends of ours, they used the Solamere name, we own a piece of them”.

    “We helped them get started”

Despite claims by Tagg and Mitt Romney the investigation is still “ongoing” and the profits from Stanford and Solemere were unreported by Tagg Romney. He also did possess a minority stake in the business with Spencer Zwick and Eric Scheuermann.

Spencer Zwich is Mitt Romney’s Chief Fundraiser. Investors in Stanford have not recovered their money, and the assets are still in receivership and frozen until the case is resolved. A total of 8.5 billion dollars is still unaccounted for and the billion dollar Ponzi scheme lays at Mitt Romney’s feet for his and his son’s investment partners who were all involved.

    Curated News

ABC News Politics – Romney Camp Dismissive of Ponzi Accusation

“But according to Think Progress, Tagg Romney’s account isn’t entirely accurate: “According to documents reviewed by ThinkProgess using the Pacer search engine, charges against Tim Bambauer, Deems May, and Brandon Phillips have not been dropped. A recent court filing shows May requesting the court for arbitration instead of going to trial.

ThinkProgress also spoke to the deputy clerk for the federal District Court in Dallas, and confirmed that the three men are still defendants in the lawsuit to recover the Ponzi scheme money.”

Romney Slate Blown Over by Ron Paul in Massachusetts

Having all but locked up the Republican nomination for president, Mitt Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, assembled a slate of delegates to support him at the Republican nominating convention in Tampa.

But when Massachusetts Republicans went to their caucuses on Saturday, many didn’t vote for Mitt Romney’s picks.

Instead, they went for Ron Paul.

Less than half of Romney’s 27 chosen delegates won, and the losers included some notable Massachusetts Republicans – including Kerry Healey, the former lieutenant governor, and the House minority leader, Bradley H. Jones Jr., according to two Republican State Committee members who did not want to be named. Even some prominent alternate delegates lost – including 2010 gubernatorial candidate Charles D. Baker and Sheriff Frank G. Cousins Jr., the Republicans said.

State GOP’s caucus picks leave Romney slate slighted

A spokesman for the state Republican Party said he could not confirm numbers because results included provisional ballots yet to be verified. Some of those who turned up at the caucuses on Saturday could not be immediately identified as registered Republicans in Massachusetts, according to a spokesman, Timothy Buckley. Additional delegates at large will be elected at a convention in June.

The complexion of the delegation may not matter much to Romney’s nomination: All delegates and alternates are committed to vote for him.

But the delegates will get to choose the chairman, vote on a platform, and support whomever they choose for vice president. And the team that Romney brings to the convention may not all be rooting for the home-state nominee.

RED DAWN AND THE CHICAGO SPRING
    By Dave Hodges

Is the US military and the Bankster controlled federal government on a collision course? When one begins to connect the dots, with each dot representing a critical intersect point between the two entities, it strongly appears that an irrevocable bifurcation between the two is underway and the point of no return may have already been reached. Why else would we be witnessing the training of Russian troops to carry out policing activities in and around the Colorado Springs area later this month?

A report from the Daily Caller noted that the Labor Department has withdrawn a highly controversial Obama administration order which would've outlawed any form of child labor on family farms. This regulation would have dealt a death blow to the economic viability of America’s small farmers. As a result, food prices would have astronomically skyrocketed because all food production would have subsequently emanated from the large corporate owned farms. As an aside, the large corporate owned farms were exempt from this Labor Department restriction and of course, illegal migrant labor would be permitted on the corporate farms as well. To many, the defeat of this illegal and unconstitutional child labor regulation marked a victory for the average American. However, there may be a more ominous message behind the rescinding of this policy as it becoming clear that the Obama administration is seeking to conceal the rift between its bankster benefactors and the US military as it is becoming clear that Obama suddenly backed away from a policy that the military refused to support.

The use of child labor on family farms is a long-established tradition in American history. It is the sole reason why America's schoolchildren have enjoyed three months off from attending school as children assisted their parents in the harvesting of crops. When we witness the Agenda 21 enforcement agents from the banker-run federal government actively seeking to control all food in order to make Americans entirely dependent upon the federal government, this latest Obama power grab makes a great deal of sense.

Only three days after the announcement of this illegally contrived Labor Department regulation banning child farm labor, the Obama administration withdrew its mandate citing “public outrage” as the sole reason. Really? Public outrage in only three days forced this dictatorial regime to do an about face? Who is Obama kidding? What about Obama’s lack of reaction to the public outrage over the banker bailouts that 95% of Americans vehemently opposed? What about the previously ignored public outrage over the chicanery related to the passage of national healthcare that over 80% of Americans opposed? What about the ongoing public outrage over the sexual assault acts performed everyday by the criminal TSA as they continue to goose Granny and molest our children at the nation’s airports? Ninety percent of the country had not even heard of this farm labor policy. The Obama administration's explanation for withdrawing the policy over “public outrage” is ludicrous. Curiously, the enforcement mechanism for this insane policy would've fallen to Homeland Security and amazingly, to the military. This means that forces of our military would have faced off against American farmers. There can be no doubt that many farmers would have defended to the death their historical right to property and parenting rights. The real reason for the withdrawal of the child farm labor policy has to do with the fact that the US military was not willing to murder American farmers on behalf of the Wall Street bankers and their large agricultural partners. The Obama administration is concealing this serious rift from the American people!

Further evidence of this growing conflict comes from Afghanistan as we should not forget that when Defense Secretary, Leon Panetta, visited Afghanistan in March, there was an attempt on his life. Following the incident, all American soldiers in Panetta’s presence were unilaterally disarmed, thus providing another example of distrust between the two institutions.

It is also no secret that in recent months, America has positioned its military in the Gulf region to launch military strikes upon Syria and Iran. It is also no secret that the Russians have threatened our government with war if America attacks its two aforementioned allies. This clearly casts Russia into the role of being a military enemy of the US. Why then, would the federal government mandate that enemy Russian paratroopers be trained at Fort Carson Army base in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in late May and early June of this year? Yet, this is an undeniable fact as Defense Department spokesperson, Commander W. L. Snyder, told the New American, that Russian troops would be training in southern Colorado for three weeks in which they would be allowed to provide security at local baseball games and to participate in roadside checkpoints as well as to conduct war game military raids on local terrorist base camps. The unmistakable conclusion is that our enemies are being trained to interact with the American public and to participate in policing activities on American soil. Are you baffled? Well, so was I, until I realized that the Russian troops are only the enemy of our military and US citizens, not the enemy of the banksters who run the government!

Shouldn’t the presence of Russian troops on American soil be considered an act of war? Why then would Russian troops be given access to one of our most important and secure military bases in the country? Why then are Russian troops being allowed to view how our military will meet a crisis not to mention the fact that we are giving the Russian military access to the inner workings of a key military installation while training on American soil for the first time? Is this is just a significant military intelligence victory for the Russians? Has the Obama administration lost its mind by revealing our military command and control capabilities in a crisis situation? Or, is this apparent abject stupidity on the part of the Obama administration being carried out with clear intent, precision and purpose to a level which would make Benedict Arnold jealous? Why else would Russian troops be trained to carry out policing activities on American soil in which they will supplant our domestic forces? There are still more dots to connect.

It has been widely reported that Homeland Security has purchased hundreds of bulletproof checkpoint structures along with several hundred million rounds of ammunition typically used in house to house fighting. We already know that the Fort Carson based Russians will be training with American weapons and ammunition. Are the dots beginning to take shape?

There can be no other purpose for the procurement of these materials, by Homeland Security, other than to use them in order to subjugate the American civilian population with American military weapons and Homeland Security provided ammunition.

Given the fact that the federal government has enacted unconstitutional detention policies through the NDAA, and it lists American veterans, Libertarians, Ron Paul supporters, and Constitutionalists as domestic terrorists in the Homeland Security’s MIAC Report, it appears that the bankster run federal government and its Russian mercenaries are declaring war on average Americans as America enters into a very draconian state of martial law which will be enforced by foreign soldiers who will not hesitate to fire on American citizens.

We already know that 70% of all US military political donations go to Ron Paul. This fact, alone, places the bulk of the American military at odds with the despots who have taken over the federal government because Ron Paul is an anathema to the banker run government status quo. And when one adds to the fact that it's becoming common knowledge that nearly every Republican primary has been rigged against Ron Paul, should it be surprising that Ron Paul delegates plan to transform the Republican presidential candidate selection process into a brokered convention in which the current political fraud would have to be carried out in the clear light of day. In this scenario, Ron Paul could win, so long as he would be alive to enjoy the fruits of this strategy. A Ron Paul presidency would spell the end of the Federal Reserve, the IRS and the Wall Street banker bailouts. And of course, there would not be a military industrial complex”cash cow” war with Iran and Syria under a Paul presidency.

Is anyone else's memory is reverting back to the Democratic California Primary held in 1968 in which, to the profound dismay of the establishment of that day, was won by Bobby Kennedy? If Ron Paul were to meet the same fate as Bobby Kennedy, would America likely accept another lone nut gunman assassination theory? Would the subsequent civil disobedience make the 1992 LA riots look tame by comparison? Would the American military subsequently fire on Americans in the streets in order to restore order? Or, is it more likely that our bankster run government would use their Wall Street funded Russians assets to quell the disturbances and install a total banker run scientific dictatorship that would make Hitler and Stalin envious?

To the banksters, the Russian troops are a necessary evil because if American troops would not fire on American farmers, in defense of the now aborted child farm policy, then they cannot be counted on to fire on Americans at the whim of the banksters in support of the coming public disarmament and eventual total subjugation.

It is interesting to note that the movie depicting a Russian invasion of the US, Red Dawn, is being rereleased. As in the movie, the Russians are coming, the Russians are coming, and America may not have to wait long to discover the real reasons behind their military presence on American soil! The connecting of these dots clearly demonstrates that the powder keg is ready to explode, but what event will light the fuse?

There are plans in place for a mass evacuation of downtown Chicago in reaction to possible riots, on May 20-21, the dates of the upcoming NATO Summit? A Milwaukee based Red Cross memo indicates that there is indeed such a plan. Officials have been asked to make plans in order to assist Chicago residents in the event of a mass exit from Chicago. Does the term, ”false flag” come to anyone else's mind? One doesn't have to have a doctorate in history to recall Operation Northwoods, Abel Danger and the relationship to 911. And one doesn't have to be a Jeopardy contestant to remember the London terrorist drills that coincided with the London subway bombings. And don't forget, the same exact events transpired a short time later in Spain!

With Russian soldiers chasing imaginary American “terrorists” on our soil, prudent Americans may wish to eliminate Chicago as vacation destination later this spring where it is rumored that Windy City will be the next Oklahoma City event.

On April 28, 2012, Ron Paul warned America to be on the alert for a false flag in the near future. Is America living in a time in which the possibility of a military coup is bubbling up to the surface and we are about to witness the bankster push back to America’s defiance to the New World Order? Will all Americans soon be forced to choose to take sides between supporting our loyal military or the bankster run government and its growing number of mercenary forces on our soil?

George Washington faced the Hessians and it is likely that will we soon be facing the Russians as they go house to house armed with newly purchased Homeland Security ammunition in order to arrest suspected dissidents and to seize our privately owned guns under the Obama supported U.N. Small Arms Treaty Ban.

When our sworn enemies have access to our military bases, are policing local baseball games, participating in traffic stops and are playing war games on American soil with Americans as their intended target, maybe we all should be asking more a lot more questions before the proverbial fuse is lit.

The Times They Are A’ Changin’: And Right Now Ron Paul Leads the Way

Posted on May 3, 2012 by Nick Sorrentino

    Come writers and critics
    Who prophesize with your pen
    And keep your eyes wide
    The chance won’t come again
    And don’t speak too soon
For the wheel’s still in spin
    And there’s no tellin’ who
    That it’s namin’
    For the loser now
    Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin’.

    -Bob Dylan

Its funny how good art not only holds up but also shifts in meaning as the years go by. The Times They are A-Changin’ is such a piece of art. This venerated song of my parents generation, for many an anthem of the left, is now 50 years old.

And it is and was an anthem for the left, to be sure. But times have indeed changed and the people who are now in the way are the same people who were pushing the old guard out of the hallways a half century ago.

The establishment is ossified and self serving. Dylan’s song is a song of rebellion and optimism. It speaks of a new world that is nearly incomprehensible to the older generation. We have a very similar situation today.

Whereas the baby boomers had access to much more information than their parents, and much more technology than their parents. Such a difference was there that the term “generation gap” was coined to explain the differences between the generations. How much wider is the gap today?

Talk to the average 60 year old person about social media and often one is met with at least some derision (which I believe masks fear.) At least this has been my experience. This is of course by no means uniform. Some of the most technologically adept people I know are in their 60s and 70s. They built Silicon Valley after all.

However, I feel that the establishment in general fears more than celebrates the broad sharing of information and ideas. I feel that many see the world as far too tumultuous, and that technology is the culprit. Gone are the steady union jobs. Gone are the 2 parties one could count on. Gone are the 3 familiar talking heads giving the country the news every night. Gone is the world they used to know. And what do we have now? Twitter? God help us!
This past Sunday night I was watching Madmen which this season takes place in 1966 New York City. One of the key ongoing themes of the show is how the World War II and Korean War generations dealt with the massive influx of new ideas which were born from the baby boomers. There was a good bit of fear, but for many of the characters there’s even more a sense of just plain confusion. What the hell is going on?

Funny that the agents of change are now the bloated bureaucrats, but maybe that’s just the way of the world.

Both political parties are trying to deal with what is going on in broader society, change on par with what happened in the 1960s. The Democrats have the luxury of having an incumbent president who campaigned on “change.” This insulates them a bit to what’s going on but at least some within the party know that their time leading the idea parade is rapidly running out.

The Republicans on the other hand are beside themselves. It looks like Mitt Romney, a man so liberal he was elected governor of Massachusetts, is about to be nominated as the GOP candidate. This after a real challenge from the social conservatives in Rick Santorum.

But though Romney is the choice of the GOP establishment, the establishment could have dealt with Santorum had former senator been able to go further or even take it to the convention. Santorum was a vestige of the 1980s Moral Majority. The current leadership of the GOP has placated evangelicals for over a quarter century. The “Christian conservatives” were/are not of real concern.

Ron Paul however scares them to death. Why?

Because Ron Paul represents a whole new way of playing the game. All the old tried and true ways of dealing with a rival candidate don’t work with Paul and his followers.

The reason the tried and true ways don’t work is because the game has changed. Interestingly Ron Paul the oldest guy in the race is the only one hip to it. Sean Hannity is not the future of politics, sorry.

But instead of embracing the new and fresh energy Ron Paul has brought into the party, a party which desperately needs young people to be sustainable going forward, the GOP has dug in its heals and declared that it will not bend to the Ron Paul barbarians. You know the barbarians who actually believe in free enterprise and small government. The GOP is the establishment’s party. Ron Paul is not invited.

The Dems have quietly looked on as Ron Paul has challenged the status quo in the GOP. But they aren’t smiling. The Obama machine knows Mittens has the ability to squeeze out a win. But though Ron Paul has the potential to lose bigger, Ron Paul also has the potential to win a mandate ala Ronald Reagan in 1980. This would be a disaster for the Dems because suddenly the TEA Party becomes mainstream and real issues are suddenly on the table. There would be a massive influx of new, market oriented thinking in Washington, and big bureaucracies- the heart of the Democrat Party, would likely be cut. Romney isn’t going to cut anything.

So both the GOP and the Dems fear Ron Paul because he is a true agent of change. Not phony baloney, big government 1930s-esc change. But real, honest to goodness, new ways of thinking, 21st Century, change.

It’s coming whether the establishment of both parties wants it or not.

    So again in the words of Bob Dylan;

    As the present now
    Will later be past
    The order is
    Rapidly fadin’
    And the first one now
    Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin’.

Ron Paul: How Many Delegates Now?

Speculation about the size of the Ron Paul presence at the Republican National Convention in Tampa this August has some Mitt Romney operatives in a panic. What is worrisome are the additional numbers of “stealth delegates” now winning positions in state conventions and going to Tampa as Mitt Romney delegates. The question is this, how many Ron Paul supporters will actually be on the floor? And what will they be able to do?

Meanwhile, some journalists are scrambling in embarrassment, having assured their corporate masters that the whole drama is over. But if Ron Paul can take delegates in Romney’s home state of Massachusetts, right under his nose, what other surprises are in store?

For the moment, the leading argument inside the Romney camp is being driven by Washington old hands who are urging the campaign to come down hard on the Ronulans, in the tradition of the John McCain – Robert Dole campaigns. Keep the convention tidy, exclusive, show that they are in control and organized.

The counter argument, which comes from some of Romney’s own personal team, is that it is too late, “that ship has already sailed. There will be a sizeable Ron Paul delegation on the RNC floor anyway, we have the nomination, so let’s be nice, let’s take a page from the Reagan playbook and bring them into the fold.” Or so they say.

The immediate question coming to a head this weekend and next is should Ron Paul’s name be allowed in nomination at the RNC in Tampa? If the process is played out naturally, organically, that is exactly what will happen, for Ron Paul will have a plurality in more than the five states required to place his name in nomination. Some in the Romney camp are fine with that. “We need these people for the general election. Let them have their day in the sun. It will add drama and attract a larger viewing audience.”

But the prevailing mood of some in the Romney camp is to shut down the process, to use their power to stop it from happening. It risks angering the Ronulans who will feel cheated by bitter power plays at state conventions this month and next but the Romney Hawks argue that allowing the Ronulans any more room will turn the convention into a fiasco similar to the 1992 convention. That was the year that the RNC had Pat Robertson and insurgent candidate, Pat Buchanan, give speeches and the George HW Bush – Dan Quayle ticket went down in defeat in the general election.

The Romney angels counter that this is not 1992. That Pat Robertson and Pat Buchanan represented the most conservative base of the GOP at a time when they should be reaching out to a wider, general audience, while Ron Paul represents youth, Hispanics, independents and even Democrats, the very votes that Romney must now have to win a general election.

A recent Rasmussen poll has Ron Paul beating Obama and Romney only tying him. “If we don’t have them in the general election,” say the more angelic Romneyites, “Then we lose.”

Whatever happens, the ball is now in the Mitt Romney court. If the Hawks continue to prevail and they keep playing dirty at the state conventions they will stop Ron Paul from being nominated and probably their own chances of winning a general election. They will also have a sizeable number of angry Ronulans on the floor of the RNC all with I-Phone cameras to record every ugly moment of disunity.

    What to do?

Next Wednesday, May 9, 2012, will be an important day. I will be online that night at 9PM to talk with anyone who wants to join the discussion.

I've been a DPer for less time than many of you. I pulled the lever for Mc in 08 and the nightmares won't stop. Some of you great people have been in this fight since before I even knew there was a fight. For that, you have my admiration...

I have been Trolling the DP all day today, like many days, and I have to tell ya...

I think we're all pissed! And I like it!

I think today's stories about the blatant manipulation of power in NV, to the MSM's now tip-toeing around our hard earned accomplishments only to save face, has struck a cord we have have all been itching to strike.. Are we mad yet?

Today's posts on the DP had a tone, a loud one. I had never heard it before. It was an annoyed energy.

    And I have a theory...

I think we all just came to fully realize we are winning. It is sinking in. And the deeper it sinks, the more irate we will become. Can they steal the vote AND railroad our delegate strategy all in the same year?!?
I say Hell No!! These State Conventions are ours now...

If they toss a delegate, we toss three. If they break a rule the convention will not move forward. If enforcement is called...good. I plan on strapping myself to the nearest Parlamentarian so I can begin smacking people with the Truth! Guys, wait till they get a load of me...

I say, if you aren't pissed... Get pissed! There is a fight going on!
