    Fiona,

I noticed Trent Lott voted for it!

I think he speaks out of both sides of his mouth at the same time too.

I was told by Brownback's office yesterday that he would vote against the DREAM Act but today he voted YES on Cloture.

    Another weasel.

Ok, let's keep making thank you calls to senators who voted NO and remind them that we want them to oppose any form of the Dream Act amnesty if any deals are being cut. This would still be a HUGE amnesty that would just encourage more illegal immigration because our borders are still not secure. PLEASE CALL if you can.

Please call Hutchinson and give her staffers an earful about her disgraceful performance today with her ploy to get the DREAM Act through cloture and onto the floor for an up and down vote. Disgraceful is being kind. I just called and told them how much I did not appreciate her actions and speech.

You'll probaly find the D.C. office busy, I got through to her Austin office:

Just did zeezil; her San Antonio line was open. I advised I was very disappointed that she was advocating on behalf of the DA amnesty; how this would just encourage more illegal immigration etc.

    And thanks April.

Same here. I went through college and grad with no financial assistance whatsoever. Worked practically fulltime during those years, too. I was eighteen when I started college, but I considered myself an adult. I practically lived on Kraft mac 'n cheese and canned green beans.

I'll make thank you calls this evening when I'm done working.

Yes, I am also still calling and sending faxes to yeas and nays. You are right WE MUST NOT DROP THE BALL....they are so sneaky and we can't seem to trust anything they say anymore.

NJ senators already bought and paid for by La Raza. I have to concentrate on other states.
