-- June, 2022: Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) suggested he was working on a legislative plan that would provide Amnesty to potentially millions of illegal aliens. Later, Cornyn called the remark “a joke.” Angel Families, the loved ones of Americans killed by illegal aliens, rebuked Cornyn’s amnesty suggestion in exclusive statements to Breitbart News. “There is no excuse for joking about working on an amnesty bill,” Angel Mom Mary Ann Mendoza said. After Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) tapped Cornyn to negotiate a deal on gun control, he was reported to on Tuesday night promised to move forward on a deal on Amnesty.

June, 2021: In statements to PunchBowl News, John Cornyn confirmed that he is hammering out the details of an expansive amnesty deal with liberal Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) that could give green cards, and eventually American citizenship, to illegal aliens enrolled and eligible for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, those given Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and illegal aliens who work on farms. Cornyn said he is hoping to have an amnesty deal drafted by the end of the week to send off to Durbin and other Senate Democrats.
