    Resistance movement

Neither party or their candidates was truly representative, nor do they reflect the views, values and interests of America's Citizens. Far too many in Congress has a Lawyer background which makes "compromise" the preferred choice, rather than standing up for their constituents. The result of this preference for compromise is that no interest or benefit to America's Citizens is ever achieved, and taxpayers always pick up the tab. Perhaps it's time we, the truly disenfranchised, the workers, taxpayer and voters, considered starting a "resistance", rather than depend on any particular party or candidate to represent the will of America's Citizens? Indeed, a little revolution every now and again is good for democracy!

I too feel that McCain threw the election. He did not fight and use all there was to use against Obama, and there was, is plenty. I watched him night after night and sat screaming at the television for him to say this or say that but all he said was "My friends" what a joke, We are no polition"s friend. We just get in their way, when we stand up to them, However can they steal is blind if we are watching them. It is time for a revolution in this country, no more tax dollars, for that is what surely runs Washington DC. We need to hold them accountable for every single penny they take from us, and we need to tell them how it will be spent. It is horribly wrong for a handfull of people to run this great country into the ground, while the rest of America stands with our hands behind our backs Do We really love this country and what it stands for, Or are we going to accept a socialist society.

If any election was ever stolen by a special interest group, it was this one and everyone in this country should wake up to the real assault that is happening on the democracy crafted by the founding Fathers.

I agree with the MSM having much to do with the outcome of this crooked election. lf Obama was investigated just a little it would have changed things some. If he's so great then why was the election so close? 54% to 48%

I for one will be looking very hard at the Constitution Party. I voted for Baldwin for several reasons, not the least of which was integrity. If I find that typical of the party, the GOP will have one less Independent to waste money on next election. I'd like to encourage everyone to at least look over the Constitution Party and consider dumping the two-party system.

WELCOME to all the new talent at ALIPAC! It's good to see new folks contributing to the discussion!

    ncfm:

To coin a phrase, conservative Republican's and Independents "stayed home in droves".
That's absolutely correct. The precincts in my very conservative county in NC, were empty. I've spoken with some of my republican customers, and they for the most part stayed home out of their disdain for both Obama and McCain.

Yes, and it was mentioned by a very astute member here at ALIPAC that Consitiution Party needs to start at state and local elections and work thier way up. We need to support them in every way possible in the next 2 and 4 years.

It irritates me when people don't vote. I certainly understand thier reasons for it, but in my opinion if you don't vote-its kind of like being a dead weight. It doesn't help anything.

I like your article and pretty much agree.
I think the top brass are just egodriven cowards, to put it nicely.
Palin did all she could and all they would let her.
The GOP needs to just get back to basics 101, IMHO.
So who's responsibilty is it to make sure the media sends
out a proper duality in their coverage? The RNC? Or can
anything even be done about the censorship and bias?
Hey at least the new elect is against any further
media ownership consolidation. That's a good thing.

The sad thing is I caught flak for announcing that I would be voting third party - Baldwin - from all the GOPers out in the Blogosphere. They were more hateful and angry that I wasn't voting for McCain than if I had announced that I wasn't voting at all.
