Another out of touch politician! All of these bleeding hearts still believe that all these illegals are "just trying to feed their babies." Please, do not insult me. We have had gang bangers, drug smugglers, dealers in human trafficking, violent criminals (rapists, killers, even terrorists, to list a few) coming through our unchecked borders. Thanks to our weak DHS, who regards our Border Patrol & ICE as some kind of "storm troopers." Get serious! It is the job of this questionable admin. to secure our borders & protect our homeland & its citizens from this horde of alien usurpers. They have been allowed to collect Welfare, med. care, a host of other benefits without checking their status. They refuse to assimulate: will not speak English, fly foreign flags, all at the expence of the American taxpayer. If this admin. really wants to reduce costs, start with them! Stop giving these ungrateful illegals benefits they neither paid into nor deserve! E-Verify & Social Security # check would eliminate much of the fraud being perpetrated. Instead, this admin wants to cut Medicare, Social Security, etc.!
Another argument for term limits in Congress.

If "Freedomworks" is the same organization as that behind the Orange County Register newspaper in California. then they are Libertarians and Libertarians are open border people. They think everyone should be able to go anywhere they please.

What a stupid position to have in light of the fact that America is the richest country on the planet and the country to our south is poor (at least from the standpoint of its citizens). So who are they beckoning with their policy?...peasants... peasants who are used to an entirely different lifestyle than that which Americans have worked so hard to achieve.

These peasants are not stupid...they know how to work the system (the welfare system that is) and they work every angle of it with the encouragement of crooked politicians like Dick Armey. I call Dick Armey a crook because I cannot fathom any other explanation for his and other like minded politician's failure to see the destruction occurring within this nation due to their failure to perform their duty to preserve the sovereignty of the United States.

If Armey wants to truly help these people he should send them back where they cane from. tell them to face up to their own government and solve the problems in their own country. To do otherwise is simply enabling the Mexican government, and others, to continue along their same path by dumping their trash on us.

What I would like to see and be part of is every American citizen against illegal immigration at their US Senate or US Congressman's local office in their state to demand: No taxpayer benefits of ANY kind to illegals, no anchor babies,
no citizenship for children of illegals, National Guard on the border until secured, all incarcerated illegals deported, English is the national language, limits for every political office to two terms and fool proof, anti- fraudulent voting .
We don't need any groups or organizations to do this- we're already in the most important group-AMERICAN CITIZENS. Here's an easy date to remember-July 4th, 2010.

What is this wacko talking about? He thinks that any one thats trying to feed their kids should be able to just come into our Country and take jobs away from Americans that are trying to raise their families? This nut job sounds like he stopped off at the bar to get juiced up before he made this speech,I hope he didn't drive himself home afterwards.

Dick Armey appears to be just one of many in Washington and all over the country who see the illegal immigration issues through the eyes of a "generous (with taxpayers money) , compassionate (in giving our country away) , wishy-washy, greedy, law-breaking, bleeding-heart RINO!!" Apparently the breaking of U.S. laws means very little to him. If he is so willing to break our laws in an "unemergency" situation...why should we expect him not to want the illegals to "come on in!!" and break our laws and hand over the keys to the cities and states to them.

Having this man's organization sponsor a national rally of patriotic Americans who care deeply about our country, while speaking out of both sides of his mouth about allowing illegals to come into our country because they "deserve it", just adds more sadness to the condition of our choatic government and its leadership. This man is just one of many who is content to let our country fall down around us....and doesn't have a clue as to what's causing it, and doesn't really care as long as it is not affecting his life-style of the rich and famous!!

WAKE UP!! Mr. Armey!!!!....has it not occured to you that paying out billions of dollars to support millions of illegal foreigners who are not paying their share into the U.S. system and who are demanding rights that are not legally theirs is going to eventually affect our country and our economy in a very big way?? If you are so anxious to allow millions of law-breakers free pass and free citizenship into our country...then by golly!...you pay for them...because THE REAL AMERICANS HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!

The U.S. did not create the mess in Mexico! The Mexicans not willing to stay and stand up for their own country created the mess in Mexico, just as apathetic Americans are sitting back now and allowing former and current incompetent leadership, such as Dick Armey and Barrack Obama, to create a mess that will affect our country for many years!!

If Dick Armey gets up in front of thousands of real Americans at the 9-12 event in Washington and talks the way he did on the video about illegal immigration...he will be yelled off the stage...if not kicked off first...as he should be!! Dick Armey evidentally has forgotten his American roots...if he ever had any!!!

The border watches, town hall meetings, 9-12 and TEA Parties all over the country is the outrage of Americans finally getting fed up with government leadership and people like Dick Armey who are deaf, dumb and blind to what's really wrong with our country!!! Thanks to the bleeding-heart Dick Armeys of our country and the millions of illegal invaders....we have a BIG problem....and a weak incompetent government that doesn't give-a-hoot that they are giving our country away to the highest bidders....or care that our country is being taken over by third-would illegal foreigners!!!

People should have their babies and feed their babies in their OWN country. If they want to feed their babies here, they should apply for legal entry into this country. Those who are here now illegally, should be denied access to employment and ALL government services until they see the light and self-deport.

Armey is deeply confused (and he does sound somewhat inebriated). He is supposed to represent U.S. citizens and taxpayers, not foreign nationals. He sounds like a clone of "Hasta la victoria!" Kennedy. The open door policy he advocates is a repudiation of his oath to uphold the Constitution.

It is becoming clear that the 9/12 march has been infiltrated and taken over, in the same way that SEIU thugs have overrun areas rented by those opposed to Obama care outside town meetings. They will hog the cameras, dominate the interviews with reporters who will be only too happy to relay the information that "this crowd is pretty much in favor of the Democrat health plan".

I've known all along Republicans would use the grassroots to try and slip in the back door of American political clout, and if we let them then we deserve the representation we get. Think about it!

Real "hope and change" can only come from sacrifice and humility, and there is precious little of that available in today's Washington.

Will we ever realize that our politician's records speak volumes about their true agenda and loyalties? Never mind the promises; let's review the record! Thanks William for bringing this to light, and thanks Roy Beck and NumbersUSA for keeping score on the Congressional report card.

No offense, there are good Republicans and there are good Democrats, but there are NO good politicians. Let's clean house, give true statesmen a bye, and put honest Americans to work in the halls of Congress that will work for the people instead of themselves! Our current political parties are obviously contaminated with power lust and filthy lucre, and we cannot afford to let this condition persist.

This clip on youtube has worked to attract a great many new members and also got people who had posted rarely to participate. It was a good idea that should be replicated in the future.

Somehow I doubt we're going to see that on 9/12. Our own (tea party) people will have plenty of camera time, certainly more than enough to cancel out the naysayers.

I am so sick of all these bleeding hearts telling that we have to rob American taxpayers to take care of the world, I think we need to STOP IMMIGRATION alltogether, until we get America back on her feet. What is the Senate and the Congress going have to see before they see this crap IS NOT a good idea? This Socialist government is in the process of destroying America as fast as they can, I just wonder what's it's going to take for the American people to wake up and put an end to all this BS.
The problem is not Democrat or Republician, it's plain Socialisum and the American people don't want to believe it. It's time to wake up and put all these news medias on notice also, if they don't start telling the truth when we get America back they will be destroyed just like the Socialist.
