    [quote="Kate"][b][size=14]THE FIX IS IN!!

    These are some of the amendments that are being used to entice cloture votes from those who previously opposed the amnesty bill.

    DON'T LET THESE SENATORS OFF THE HOOK! HIT THEM HARD TODAY.

    Yes, the situation is fluid, but I just listened to Sen. Sessions on the Bennett show and he said immigration may not be taken up until early next week. SO THIS GIVES US MORE TIME TO RAMP UP THE PRESSURE.

    I'm sure the open borders groups will be active too, SO we must outwork them!!

    Although we know this, it's worth repeating: Sen. Sessions said it's very important that senators hear from the people!

    Thanks OMB and well done!

    Sounds like we have our talking points for tomorrow!

    I let them know in every call that America is watching them on C-span and we are well informed. We will vote and contribute accordingly.

    From the WA Times:

    The bill can be stopped. Following are 19 Republican senators identified by the group Numbers USA as possibly being willing to switch and vote for cloture in exchange for giving the Senate a chance to vote down one of their amendments:

    Lamar Alexander (Tennessee)
    Robert Bennett (Utah)
    Saxby Chambliss (Georgia)
    Thad Cochran (Mississippi);
    Norm Coleman (Minnesota)
    Susan Collins (Maine)
    Larry Craig (Idaho)
    Pete Domenici (New Mexico)
    Judd Gregg (New Hampshire)
    Orrin Hatch (Utah)
    Kay Bailey Hutchison (Texas)
    Johnny Isakson (Georgia)
    Jon Kyl (Arizona)
    Trent Lott (Mississippi)
    Mitch McConnell (Kentucky.)
    Lisa Murkowski (Alaska)
    Olympia Snowe (Maine)
    Ted Stevens (Alaska)
    John Warner (Virginia)

    These lawmakers will likely decide the fate of the amnesty bill in the Senate.
