I don't believe any President is going to be changing the way our State collects taxes. For that matter, unless the property changes hands, there can be no more than a 2% increase per year. That is due to a Proposition passed by residents of this State. Seems to me, this is one of the few things our State got right.

That is Proposition 13 and the Democrats hate it. They think when the majority of voters are Latino they can overturn it. And if anyone besides Romney or Ron Paul becomes President that is exactly what will happen.

I used to work for the County of Orange. Property taxes are county. So all the money goes to country services.

The state gets its money from your personal income tax and from sales tax.

So if you're wondering where all your property taxes went to, audit your county.

Yes, the rich pay for 80% of CA taxes! What's going to happen when they are fed up?

One way to stop the flow is to vote NO on PROP 93...the phony term limits propostion. If this Prop is defeated, Fabian Nunez, Perata, and 42 legislators (mainly DEMS) will be OUT by the end of the year! The Proposition is deliberately and falsely worded to make you think that if you vote YES...term limits will go into effect. Wrong...it's the opposite. The crooks spent $80M to get this sham on the ballot.

We cannot, all of the "democratic" districts are filled with non-citizens, so all it takes is a few democrat government workers and lib idiot citizens in the district to elect a democrat to the legislature. All of the working American taxpayers are put in the Republican districts. So it ends up you need 2 times as many votes to elect a Republican as a Democrat. The way the districts are drawn up it is impossible. The deck is stacked against Americans.

I vote no on all the Propositions. They keep trying to add amendments to our State Constitution that simply costs us money every time. Force them to balance the budget without any more of our help. Trim the fat for a change. The 10% cut is a start, then get all the illegals outahere!
