Remember that I am the survivor of 1 1/2 yr. terror & robbery campaign by a gang of illegal Hispanics, who threatened to kill me, broke in with a gun while I was there, and burned down my home, putting me $25,000 into debt.

So when you lie by omission, by not telling the whole story, you denigrate the experiences of all of us who have had criminal illegal invaders harm us!

SO WHY won't you tell the whole truth on the illegals situation? Remember, I have NO problem with LEGAL immigration nor LEGAL immigrants. LEGAL immigrants are those who get checked out, fill out the papers, OBEY THE LAW!
Why won't you, not only say that the demonstrators are going to show their economic contributions....how about the costs to our country? How about the crime...depending on the state...27 to 30 % of those in jails are illegals (non-immigration crimes), although they are 3% of the population. Who is in our country, now? Which terrorists? 9/11 was in 2001! So NOW our security is urgent? What about the overcrowded schools and the disproportionate use of our social services? Senator Sessions says S.2611 to bring 217.1 new immigrants in 20 years! What about the cost of Social Security Totalization with Mexico. What about the de facto war we're in with Mexico and it's invasion for decades, that criminal politicians and businessmen have encouraged so they can hire illegals cheaper than Americans, thus taking our jobs, and lowering our standard of living? What about the fact that the longer the illegal aliens have been here, that they have thumbed their noses at our laws and broken them, daily, etc. There even was a Mexican Manifesto printed in their main paper about this situation, I believe it was 1982. I'll have to go back and locate that detail. Are you aware that the Mexican gov't printed a booklet to tell Mexicans how to invade us, where to go, etc? Are you aware of the MEChA, Mexica, Reconquista, Aztlan movements? (I wasn't aware of these movements even 8 weeks ago.) And don't forget, we have to hire lawyers for them too. There is a massive growing backlash coming! You see, these protests for 'rights' the illegals DON'T HAVE (they have a right to be deported and those who hire them, have a right to go to jail), have opened the eyes of we citizens and LEGAL immigrants who obeyed the laws. Why should ONLY citizens and LEGAL immigrants have to obey the law? Look at Europe! Do you remember when the communists said they would take us over, without one shot being fired? What do you think the current socialists are?

If all the crimes by illegal aliens against Americans and LEGAL immigrants were to be totalled up, say, for the last 10 years...would the numbers show that they already declared war on us???? Even if we're not connecting the dots, because our laws aren't being implemented?

The disconnect the illegals have is amazing. They 'want to' so it doesn't matter what the law is. Or to think that Americans would like our National Anthem hijacked into Spanish. What DISRESPECT! And this disconnect is the problem. Although the illegals, can and do come from every country, the majority are Mexican. And we have V. Fox telling OUR PRESIDENT what to do???? OH, PLEASE!!!!!!! Fox needs to take care of his own people. The USA is supposed to be a sovereign nation. With distinct borders. I do not want our children and grandchildren living in a 3rd world nation.

I keep praying that ONE of you will understand the historical importance of this subject and that this person loves our country enough to have the courage TO TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH. If the American citizen and LEGAL immigrant sits back and does nothing, we WILL lose our Republic. All I'm asking...tell both sides of the story. If your administration WON'T ALLOW you to do so....well, you need to think about our right to freedom of speech.

Remember, 'Political Correctness' is making us sheep. Don't want to tell the truth because it might offend someone? Balderdash! NO MORE.

Do not patronize us. The American people are NOT stupid.
We will vote out of office those who vote for amnesty by any name!

theres more than 20 million illegales in this country, and most all of them our poor, if we let them stay they will each bring over 20 or more family members in a 11 years they would be bringing 200 million or more into our country,the job market could get like it did in the 1980s,the goverment would let all programs for the poor die out,our people will see their children suffer this cant go on i cant stand the thought of what will happen to or people, the only thing to do is starve these illegales out of our country they must go we cant handle all these poor people i am to mad right now to say any more i am ready for war if the goverment lets these illegales stay this is really bad if they stay

The USA is a dying dog. It was hit by a psycho driver who thinks they are sane. THE DRIVER? The EXECUTIVE BRANCH AND CONGRESS. Two arms of a head which has cancer. Big business(maggots, for short)is the parasite that feeds them.

It now appears that the ONLY possiblility of saving this nation is through a revolution of everyday people. Prostest marches need millions of people to hit the streets with a common goal. If that does not work, then it does not matter to what extreme they must go. The only thing that matters is that the "madness" is stopped. Thomas Jefferson stated that a revolution was needed every twenty five years. The reason being is that humanity has a cancer which rears it's head up everytime we go off of chemotherapy.

The people who are the cancer are ALWAYS waiting for any sign that will give them an edge to matastasize(spread) and kill off the good portions of the body of decency.

Now the only question is how do we start the revolutionary treatments?

Since most of the posts have already articulated my views on illegal immigration, the Bush Administration's continued spewing of amnesty and failure to enforce the laws, and the many spineless Congressmen/women who refuse to take a tough and just stand on illegal aliens, I will just highlight (possibly reiterate) one point. I am tired of Bush and other senators talking about this grand guest worker program (amnesty) full of so called tough sanctions, fines etc. They do not enforce the laws of Our Land already, so how are they going to enforce/force illegals to pay fines, learn English etc.? Who is going to pay for the English teachers? They will hardly pay for foreign language teachers for our children in the public schools systems. Our nation can not keep track of sexual offenders and collect child-support! Are we really suppose to believe their amnesty program is going to work? I find all of their rhetoric insulting to my intelligence and a slap in the face to law-abiding, tax paying American citizens!! By the way, in South Carolina, my daughter was denied a spot in the public school pre-K program. She tested "too high." When we registered her, there were at least 2 kids on the list who do not speak English. Maybe I'm wrong, but if the kids don't speak English, their parents do not either (most likely illegal). So now, while my tax dollars support public school, I will also have to pay for private school. I am tired of hearing about the "rights" of illegal aliens, what about the rights of American citizens to live in a country where laws are enforced? The whole situation is a disgrace!

Bush's speech was a pile of psuedo-stupid rationalizations.. trying to make everyone happy.... being UNamerican, supporting the law breakers, breaking the backs of emergency room personnel, police forces, human service agencies, supporting illegals taking our land and our money and our health and our future...

I think that any help along the border is a good thing. I think nailing big buisiness for harbering illegals with MASSIVE fines would pretty much end these mass influxes of border jumpers. The only amnesty that I would allow is a 30 day amnesty period to get back to the border and back to Mexico. After that, if you are found here illegally after that period, then you are immediately sentenced to one year (fence building) labor before being deported. Repeat offenders should look at 10 years in prison, fallowed by immediate deportation. What I am getting at is that the only way to convince illegals not to enter our country illegaly is for them to know beforehand that if they are caught, they WILL face a deffinate penalty. As of now, there is vertually none at all. I'm sorry if these are extreme measures, but that's what it is gonna take. A PATH TO CITIZENSHIP is not the message that we need to be sending to try to slow the flow of illegals to our country, A PUNISHMENT FOR THOSE FOUND HERE ILLEGALLY would serve the cause better...Johnny

President Bush's speech last night did one thing for me. It CONFIRMED to me that he is totally out of touch with the American people and is only interested in the wants of big business and El Presidente Fox! President Bush is not thinking about the negative impact that illegal immigration has put on our welfare, healthcare, and schools. He just wants amnesty for the millions who broke our laws. I feel like he has turned his back on us and I was disgusted by his speech.

This president who has disgraced the Oval Office thinks he can appease the American people by talking tough about security then dispatches a token force to the "border" that will be passing the time playing tiddly winks. Once again he has shown his utter disdain for the safety and economic well being of American citizens who he thinks lacks intelligence and can be fooled by his miserably failed foreign and domestic policies. His speech, peppered with the usual assortment of platitudes, oxymorons, ambiguities and euphemisms once again illustrated the lack of understanding of the economic, social, and political ramifications of his amnesty proposal and covert open border policies. He claimed the border must be secured but provided no concrete resolutions to do so. He further stated any additional resources he might provide won't be available and implemented until the end of CY2008; but says the dispatch of 6000 unarmed support troops would be a stop gap measure. So as we can plainly see the border of which he is so committed to close will in fact remain porous and vulnerable until 2008 when the illegal immigrant population has swelled to 40 or 50 million. By these actions, he has shown he has no interest in securing our borders. He does not care about the economic, political, environmental, and sociological consequences of his open border policy on our already over burdened healthcare, education, and welfare systems coupled with the increased strain on our natural resources. He ignores Senator Session's predictions on our burgeoning illegal immigrant population, if which comes true, the American taxpayer will be forced to shoulder an additional 50 billion dollars a year to support an illegal alien population that could reach 108 million. Bush doesn't care about the devastating effects of drugs, gangs, crime and blight in our major cities and towns which already have seen dramatic increases based on the present illegal alien population. He doesn't care about destroying the standard of living in a 21st century 1st world technological, economic and military superpower by integrating it with a third world nation of lawless, uneducated vegetable pickers. His only concern is with the Fortune 500 elite who keeps his wallet and the campaign warchests full, illegal aliens who protest in our streets supporting Aztlan, MeCha and LaRaza chanting their mantra of reclaiming the southwest and using violence to achieve their objectives, and appeasement to foreign potentates ala Neville Chamberlain. He turns a blind eye to narco-empires importing millions of tons of illegal drugs into the US which are poisoning our society even while we are engaged in a war on drugs with troops and resources deployed throughout Central and South America. He speaks of a nation based on the rule of law but proposes legislation which would reward those who have have used the illegal back door to immigration by flagrantly violating our federal immigration laws, and who are already in this country enjoying benefits afforded to American citizens while ignoring the elusive hopes and aspirations of many who have have legally applied for citizenship while still in their own countries, waiting years for that door to open. This administration has turned a blind eye to what may constitute the most flagrant violation of our sovereignty; our sacred right to vote which has been cheapened by illegal aliens registering to vote with the assistance of lawyers, the church and corrupt government officials.
The president has so blantantly contorted the meanings of legalization, amnesty and citizenship claming that legalization and citizehsip do not equate to amnesty. However, he states those who are here illegally and contribute little or nothing to the tax base while taking advantage of America's generosity and compassion by fraudulent use of government and social services will be afforded the opportunity for legalization and a path to citizenship. Americans are forced to ingest this rhetoric at the cost of an ever increasing tax burden while being denied access to those benefits for which they have paid throughout their working lives in blood, sweat and tears only to reach the dream of retirement and discover a nightmare of nothing.
He has stained the Oval Office and the Constitution with the blood of veterans like myself who have fought with many giving their lives to protect, defend and preserve the ideals these symbols represent that he so willingly sells out to Corporate America.
I have one additional thought Mr President. Last week I was watching Neil Cavuto on Fox News Television. He interviewed an Army Sgt blinded by a bomb that detonated outside his checkpoint. Despite the pain and suffering he has so bravely endured and continues to endure, this wonderful human being said he had but one regret which was a widely held belief among his fellow soldiers; he wished he could return to Iraq and carry on the fight with his fellow soldiers. Mr President, after hearing this would you be able to tell this soldier and the families of those who have sacrificed their lives to protect the blessings of liberty for Americans that you have sold out the ideals he and others like him have preserved, protected and defended for cheap and compliant labor?

I voted for Bush the second time because or his stubbornness and determination regarding the war on terror. The very reason I was for him then, is why I'm against him now.

I was for going into Iraq, but remember the protests worldwide against it? The protest's didn't stop Bush cause he had his mind made up, that's what he planned to do come hell or high water. The protest's by illegal's tickled his fancy, cause that's the direction (amnesty) he planned to go anyway.

MY 2 CENTS: If this law passes through the house, Mecha, Aztlan, La Raza & terrorist's have won. Bush said they have "roots" here. Look for the racist evil Reconquistra to firmly plant those alledged "roots" even deeper, demanding we give the southwestern part of the US back to Mexico. They're pros at demanding. All they need to complete the task is NUMBERS, which this amnesty will provide. Also be prepared for terror attack's to resume. Perhaps this is what Osama had in mind when he said, them not attacking since 9/11 has nothing to do with our security (no *hit), there's a few finishing touches to be made, then 9/11 will pale in comparison to what will happen next?

Bush & Fox are working together, they've made secret deals, bottom line, the goal is to have binational open borders between the US, Mexico & Canada, for his so-called free trade/flow of goods, services & workers...A REALLY REALLY BAD IDEA!

What good is it going to do to send the National Guard to our border with Mexico? We need to secure our border with more U.S. Border Agents and build a barrier to safeguard our great country. No amnesty for illegal aliens.
