Phonics, merry-go-rounds (kids would always fly off, but no one cared, teeter totters, metal slides that you could make extra slippery with a candle or bar of soap...buffing it off with your shirt sleeve, ponchos and bell bottoms, Little Rascal and the Three Stooges, Go Speed racer and the Peanuts specials...lining up for recess and eating warm bologna sandwiches because it sat in your locker all day... although most of the time, I didn't eat it and decided to stash them all in my bedroom closet (guilt from growing up in the clean plate club...those starving kids in China would have loved that sandwich)until my Mom found them months later and moldy. I still feel bad about that.

Neese,
1948
I am not over 60, but grew up in the
sixties.
I saw Cream in concert live in Chastain Park,Atlanta.
Saw Chicago at Emory U.
Listened to Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin.
Marched to bring home our soldiers in 1969-1970.
Also, marched with Martin L. King's group for equality for all.
Still older than you, Neese.
And I bet my bell bottoms were the best you would see...
