There are no sheep's clothing being shredded. McCain is currently the nominee of the Republican party.

When Romney resigned, he said that he was doing so based on concerns of national security and terrorists. Therefore, he wants to try to bring the party together in order to stop the Dems from winning the nomination.

Dolly, if anything happens to Americans under a Dem President, when do you think they would be invited back to the Whitehouse?

    Ron Paul perhaps?

I don't think that Romney would have a lot of power in a VP position. Tancredo connected to Homeland Security would be effective.

I would only feel comfortable voting for McCain if.............

--He chose Romney as VP running mate and said that all issues dealing with immigration laws and illegals----as well as our economy---- will be the responsibility of Romney.

--Tancredo in charge of Homeland Security is able to make all decisions regarding border security and interior enforcement regarding illegals and potential terrorists.
But we all know McCain. He has noooo problem at all promising one thing and then doing whatever he wants. He is a sociopathic liar and cannot be trusted.

It sure seems like a backdoor deal to me.

He probably thinks this will pull the republican party together. HA!

It doesn't change my position on McCain one bit!

I don't think that this will really matter if thousands of US citizens lose their lives due to an attack on US soil.

Dems feel that it is not PC to even question potential terrorists.

Politics. I still will not vote for McCain, but it sounds like Romney is positioning himself for 2012 or later.

This won't stop me from supporting Romney in the future.
