Thread: New ALIPAC Survey: Legal Immigration Levels?

After reading TotheCurb's post, I have to say my vote was cautious. Instead of bringing immigration to minimal levels I would like to see a hiatus on all immigration. We don't need any more people in the United States. We are FULL.

I think you should have added "do you believe there should be a Moratorium on legal immigration"

Since it was not, I voted to stop all immgration because I believe we need to give the people here time to assimilate.

I feel that only a minimal level of immigration should be allowed until we can stabilize our population growth. This country cannot continue to play catch up to the exploding numbers of people entering this country and dropping their anchor babies. After we are stabilized we can discuss increasing our LEGAL immigration numbers. ATTRITION (and deportation of criminal invaders) RULES!!!!!

I believe we need to stop legal immigration immediately.


Then, we need to secure the borders and ports.

Then enforce immigration laws, go after the big corporations, make sure the tv news show CEO's with thousand dollar suites in handcuffs being taken away. This will force other companies to only hire legal workers.

Then stop providing taxpayer paid benefits to illegals.


Do all this for 5 to 10 years.


After all this is done, we can discuss about possibly bringing back legal immigration.

I believe it (legal immigration) should be temporary stopped till some semblence of normal is established. We have no clue who's here legally, illegally, overstayed visas......nothing. I mean they are just starting to blow the top off employers who claim they NEED illegal immigrants, but once they've been busted, there seems to be no shortage of workers to quickly take their place. It would be interesting to find out for sure if these so called high level employers are really short of workers or if they aren't scamming the system as well for cheap labor. I wonder if they even give American workers the choice to keep a job at less pay, or just fire them in order to import cheap labor. From what I've heard so far they are just as guilty for hitting the cheap labor pool as those who hire illegals. The legal cheap workers can't change jobs without being deported, in many cases their spouse can't work and they are in many cases held as hostages just like illegal ones are......play the game, don't rock the boat or be deported.

If we are so stupid and mentally incapable of doing these jobs, then attention and training needs to be addressed for citizens first. You simply cannot tell me we have a shortage of people and bringing in more and more people isn't going to fix the problem.

I have watched the medical profession take a nose dive when money has outranked care. We are seeing it in almost every profession and every business. We aren't getting "better people".....just people willing to work for cheap who don't know any different. We aren't getting better service, cheaper prices, quality care, nothing in exchange for this.

And I say temporary because there's so many loose ends it's also much needed time and additional workers to fix what is broken and give attention to those who have abided by the law, are still waiting patiently. They are being lost in shuffle and probably have a ton of stories to share about whats really going on and what needs to be addressed. But they are basicly ignored because of the illegal invasion.

I mean we have been invaded by cartels, underground smuggling rings for everything from prostitution to child porn, guns, drugs, cars and who knows what else. Anyone think that's going to get "better" with increased immigration and illegal immigration? Newer immigrants aren't assimilating as well as they could be and we are becomming more and more divided. Adding more is just throwing fuel on an already out of control fire. We have displaced citizens who are still out of work from having their jobs outsourced, we have adult citizens who aren't dead yet and will most likey end up needing to work to survive during thier "golden years" We have highschool and college kids still living at home because they can't get a job or a job that pays enough to meet basic necessities and more and more people isn't the answer when we can't take care of and help our own. Heck with a good half of our youth dropping out of highschool.....who needs more uneducated people? We could probably stop it all for 50 years and still not fix anything. Maybe the last of our boomers will be dead in time for the latest baby boom to move right on in.

Our country thrived with a whole lot less people all along.......
