THE DEPORTATION IS "DEFERRED"! They become "eligible" for a work permit! You're wrong!

It's not "deferred", because they aren't scheduled for deportation to begin with. They don't have deportation orders issued on them. So there is nothing to be "deferred". We have 30 million illegal aliens in the US. DOJ issues approximately 87,000 deportation orders a year. The other 29.99 million plus the several hundred thousand new ones that come in every year are "deferred" forever because no one deports them. DACA's are still illegal aliens, illegal residents and subject to deportation when they fall into or are found to be a priority case for deportation like every other illegal alien in the country. So the only material difference between a DACA and any illegal alien is their work permit, which protects their employers from hiring violations if they have a job.

The ability to deport them "IS DEFERRED"! ICE is not looking for them and can't deport them as long as they abide by the DACA rules.

You are really trying hard to hang on to an incorrect claim, that DACA only provides for them to work. IT DOES NOT! And the inability to find them does not mean they are immune to deportation, SO IT IS NOT A DEFERMENT!

WRONG AGAIN! They don't have to have a job, so a work permit is optional! They may be going to school.

The work permit is not "optional", it's the only document a DACA receives. It doesn't even say DACA on it. It says United States of America, Employment Authorization Card.

SO IT IS NOT PART OF DACA!

The Work Permit is a program that preexisted DACA and operates independent of DACA. And a Work Permit IS NOT THE ONLY DOCUMENT A DACA RECEIVES. They may have driver's licenses and other ID. And they must be registered as a DACA to receive its protections. A Work Permit is only one of the benefits DACA provides.

So, again, you are wrong that DACA is only a Work Permit!
