I would like to see a citation showing this to be true. You might consider that the term "capitalist" is also a Marxist term, and I think it is Marxism that you are really referring to here. It is always a slippery slope to police the use of words alone without addressing their meaning. If you think there is a better term that "crony capitalism" to describe what she is legitimately complaining about, you should suggest it. Anti-monopoly legislation is also not a communist conspiracy.

So the question becomes, does Trump really want other leaders in his administration or does he want Yes men and Yes women?

Did Sarah Palin just talk herself out of a cabinet position on Trump's Train which he admits is a movement.

And as a movement, how would we feel about Trump's appointing or dismissal of Palin?

I agree. The Trump presidency was born out of political foment and will be sustained by the same foment. We have to keep talking and contending else the opposition will ferment in the mix. We are already seeing some of this. Foment, not ferment.

I have never been impressed with Gov. Palin. Again, she has always seemed like a celebrity wannabe.

Maybe she thinks she can blackmail him into putting her in the cabinet to keep her from disagreeing with him. She knows and we know, the media will give her all the time she wants in front of the camera as long as she is badmouthing PE Trump.

Texas gives lots of incentives for business. Cities and counties in Texas gives incentives - like tax abatements.

They are Wal Mart's best friend.

It looks as if PE Trump is talking with others. This is a huge problem and he isn't going to be able to just wave a wand and change it.

"crony capitalism" refers to corruption, where you have a donor who wants H1B visas, and you use your position in government to get them for them, so every member of Congress who approved H1B visas to replace American Workers is guilty of "crony capitalism." "crony capitalism" is when you use your position in government to approve a trade treaty that allows your donors to move their US based companies to Mexico, resulting in the lay-off of millions of US workers, and back-haul their products into the US without tariff or penalty.

    Open borders is "crony capitalism".

    Free Trade is "crony capitalism."

Secure borders and protected trade are not "crony capitalism."

Keeping US manufacturing in the US is not "crony capitalism."

Securing our borders, protecting our trade and keeping manufacturing jobs in the US are vital constitutional duties and obligations of the United States government to promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty for the people of the United States and our posterity.

Anything our government does contrary to that to promote capitalism is cronyism.

Our founders were very clear as to the purpose of our government, and they eloquently outlined it in the Preamble to the US Constitution:

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Any action taken by government that is contrary to that is not only unconstitutional, it's cronyism, favoritism, to satisfy special interests, many of them foreign interests. That is "crony capitalism". It's socialism when you force your own citizens to pay for the consequences through a forced income tax.

Easy there, both Palin and Trump are "reality television" participants. Trump bragged about being able to grab the crotches of women suggesting his star status allowed such moves. I think this is a plausible story. Let's not throw stones in a glass house.

Palin is not hustling Trump, she is advancing his presidency by providing a diversified front, however unintentionally. Making too much of a big deal out of her criticism doesn't help. I think we can safely distinguish her from Romney who is making a much sleazier display than Palin.

There seems to be a difference. PE Trump seems to honestly want to do something to make this country and it's people better. He may be doing it for his own benefit. I have always felt the best we can hope for is that politicians wants and ours mesh sometimes. So if they mesh sometimes with this President, we will be so much better off.

As for the offensive remark. Just wondering how many out there have made a repulsive remark? Just wondering--

The media's 'oh, horrors - hide your daughters' reaction would have been absolutely funny, if it weren't so many seem to buy into it. You know the media/entertainment industry - those darlings and protectors of our culture????

We hadn't had TV for about 10 years, choosing to purchase movies we wanted to watch. Our son got us DSL and Roku, etc., To say I was surprised at change in the content of movies and TV in that period is a gross understatement. I couldn't believe some of the perverted, horrific, bloody things that had been produced in the name of 'entertainment', by this same lot that was so 'just horrified'.

I felt like one of those people who wake up in a different century.

Gov. Palin is simply, I think, trying to keep herself relevant. That's what I think a lot of people are doing - the football player, Ms. Stein, etc.

Again she knows they will give her unlimited camera time if she will just criticize PE Trump and I think that's what she wants. Who knows, if she can't work her way into politics - maybe a TV show - if she does what the media wants.

What is unfair to Indiana Taxpayers?

    1100 people keep their jobs
1100 people are NOT on unemployment
1100 people are NOT on welfare and food stamps
1100 people have a paycheck to spend and put back into the economy in Indiana
1100 people are paying taxes and have their health insurance
1100 people have not lost their homes...forced to move creating ghettos
1100 people will be making their car payment, rent, mortgage, utilities and paying their bills

The companies that do business with Carrier also have business continuing. The trucking, boxes and supplies, restaurants, Doctor's, clothing stores, office supplies, postage, shipping, etc.

I am sure there is no "net" loss to the taxpayers of Indiana.
