I suspect that Gilchrist was promised a political position if he would help Huckabilly to be elected!!!!

Re: Gilchrist attacks...
Sorry, but it is important to tell the truth about Huckabee. It is not acceptable to allow Jim Gilchrist to run around on national television pretending to speak for the anti-illegal immigration movment.

Gilchrist has bashed the leaders of SOS for a long time. Gilchrist gets upset when patriots he feels belong to him go to protests and rallies organized by other groups in Southern California.

Re: Gilchrist attacks...
We are staying together. Our movement is unifying against Gilchrist and Huckabee!

Excellent response to his letter.
I don't want to see the negativity overshadow the current work going on. I think Gilchrist appears foolish at this point. I don't want people to think that the cause is fighting among ourselves, kwim?
It's unfortunate. Gilchrist was one of the first people who I looked to support in the anti illegal immigration movement. I'm very disappointed.
I am glad to see the reply to him as positive as it was, especially the points that the accounting records are public and the fact that Gheen is paid. Gheen should be paid and frankly I think he should be paid more.

Welcome CaliMom and thank you for the favorable comment regarding William Gheen.
We have immigration laws that just need to be enforced.

I'd urge you to find another way. This practice of publishing private emails may damage people and groups by frightening away whistle blowers or informants that may have valuable information about the illegal alien lobby that they want to relate. If I was to read that a group or persons had displayed private emails in a public manner due to a dispute over something, I would certainly reconsider risking my anonymity or safety by using that group as a conduit or trustworthy entity. I know these emails my exonerate falsely accused, disprove, or prove key points, however there is an even greater ideal to protect here.

The fact that they are now relying on a figure from within the same movement to bolster their position tells me that they are driven by desperation. For me, the bigger news is not that Jim Gilchrist is supporting Huckabee, but that the Neocon republican wing has suddenly "lowered" themselves to an association with our movement. It will not be enough to send a letter. We will have to march on washington and dictate terms in the white house
