Honesty does matter, his religion or lack of any does not concern me. He claimed to be the best of negotiators, and hasn't reported any concessions from his day with Reince Prius. Now, he has to begin proving that he is he says he is. Is he a negotiator?

Sure honesty matters. It matters when a church misleads a reporter about the status of one of their members.

Is Trump a negotiator? Well, if his goal is to win the Republican nomination by spending as little money as possible, I'd say with 51% of Republicans now believing he will win the nomination based on 71% of Republicans supporting him on his policies, that he's winning. He's just negotiated a pledge that saved him a lot of money, assured his spot on the Republican ballot in all 50 states and snares him the Republican spot on the General Election ballot if he wins the nomination and won't have to spend a dime on signature campaigns to get on the ballots. To me that's huge.

In addition, now all the other "pledgers" have their own integrity on the line to support Trump if he wins the nomination and look at them dance. Bobby Jindal has just forfeited his spot by refusing to say he would support Trump if he wins the nomination.

So, I think Trump negotiated a great deal. If he doesn't get the nomination, it exposes the RNC and the "pledge" as the Politburo Farce it really is. I don't agree with Trump on everything, but I agree with his goals and most of his policies, not all, but most.
