There is one sponsor and 145 co-sponsors.

This is one of the most important pieces of legislation in our lifetime......to SAVE AMERICA.
Do you have a link for this??? I would like to post this on other sites and ask the same question as you.

Someone who believes in original intent, like Paul, will say that defining who an employer can and cannot hire is an unconstitutional breach of power by the U.S. Congress. Giving the central government this power treads dangerously close to socialism. In fact, that IS socialism. The Founders did not intend for the federal government to make dictates to employers. That particular right was left to the state and/or the people.

You people have never supported Ron Paul. Why even question anything about him? You are never going to vote for him. You just do not understand the constitution. Have fun with Hellary, Hussein, or McSlain!! I am so over this! Where is your precious Romney now! Yeah, right!!

I never supported RP because I always had questions about his strength on the immigration issue. It is false to assume that simply because one does not support RP that they do not understand the Constitution. This inductive reasoning leads some to believe that if Paul says so, then the Constitution says so. Or, if Paul opposes SAVE, it must be bad. Or, if Paul opposes the border fence, then we must not need it. I have independently read through much of the Constitution, and I am unconvinced that RP is always in-line the intentions of the founders. If he opposes SAVE because it is against the intent of the founders, then why did he vote in favor of what NumbersUSA considers amnesty, and in favor of several guest worker programs Were those rights reserved to the federal government in strict aderhence to the Constitution? I have been amazed several times here that some don't even understand Paul's views on trade.
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.

    See you at the signing!!

Paul is just as bad as Hillary, Obama and McCain in regard to the illegals.

If you do not take away the main reason that the illegals come here---which is JOBS----nothing else matters. Paul does NOT want to take away the ability for the illegals to get jobs. In other words, he wants to make sure that the employers are able to continue to screw US citizens/workers by hiring illegals!!

If Paul does not want a fence, it is because he wants the employers to be able to have a continual flow of cheap, illegal labor---no matter how it is hurting US citizens/workers.

This information can be evaluated by others who "thought" that Paul was a good candidate in regard to stopping the illegals and associated problems-----as this information PROVES that Paul is NOT a good candidate to solve the problems in this country regarding illegals.
