Actually, Bren was not banned from Alipac and we communicated her status to her in private, as we would any other user.

Please do not assume or make accusations that can not be substantiated and leave the banning to us.

Everything I have read on ths thread is conjecture and personal opinion as to why Ron Paul has not signed the SAVE Act.

I will hold my comment until I hear from him as to why he has not signed.

Although Illegal Immigration is top priority other life altering events are happening at present.

The Federal Reserve is pumping 200 BILLION dollars into the financial market trying to stop imo the inevitable crash of our economy.This is borrowed money Americans must pay back and it stops financial institutions from being held accountable for their criminal behavior.

Gold is $1000,000 + today.

Dr. Paul has been warning us of this crisis in the making for sometime and is speaking out and working to stop the Feds from continuing their conduct.

No candidate is perfect but Ron Paul makes waaaaaay more sense that the other three.

The SAVE act is targeting employers of 250+ employees and then gradually phasing in smaller companies over time (over 4 years+). Most of the illegals working in my area work for small contractors so it's not an immediate fix.

Dolly - to suggest that Paul is pro illegal immigration over the SAVE act is absurd. He signed the Numbers USA pledge, remember?

Has McCain signed the SAVE act? How about Hillary? You seem to think she supports this, well we'll see won't we????

Oh, just a footnote and following on the thoughts of Gogo here...

I am not strongly for, nor against RP at all. My opinion is rather neutral about him. Some positions of his I like A LOT, some of his positions I disagree with A LOT. That is not the question here. The question is: What is the most productive use of time and/or resources to solve the problem? We can argue ad nauseum about what SHOULD have been... or, we can take the most productive and effective action today to help solve the problem given the incredibly messed up situation we're facing.

'Cutting to the chase' here...
Ultimately, the most productive course of action for Mr. Paul to take today is to sign the petition and help get this bipartisan enforcement-focused bill onto the floor of the House for a full vote and later passage.

Pass all the laws you want, all the proposals you fall in love with, all of the proposals that make sense. Pass duplicate laws, pass them in triplicate.

If they are not enforced what do you have? Fertilizer!

Compare Ron Paul to the other three. You don't have to be mezmerized by Ron Paul, no need to be enamored.

Stand up and be honest bashers, tell us who we Ron Paul supporters should be mezmerized with. Enamor me with your putz! Help me to see the forest through the trees!

It's alright. I know most of us are Conservative by nature, but we have to be a little open minded to other posibilities.
