Well, as long as they are Dreaming, we are going to be their Nightmare.

We will call until they Wake-Up or we are going to keep them Tossing and Turning.

No Rest for the Opossum Playing Politicians either.

President George W. Bush and the U.S. Congress registered record-low approval ratings in a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday, and a new monthly index measuring the mood of Americans dipped slightly on deepening worries about the economy.

Only 29 percent of Americans gave Bush a positive grade for his job performance, below his worst Zogby poll mark of 30 percent in March. A paltry 11 percent rated Congress positively, beating the previous low of 14 percent in July.
Thanks for the news on the new poll ratings, SOSADFORUS. You can bet I'll include this with the DHS opposition. HAMMER TIME!!!

Has anyone spoken with Sen. Hutchison's office recently? She has said the Defense bill shouldn't be delayed by the Dream Act, but it's unclear if this means she doesn't want the Dream Act amendment in the bill, OR if she is willing to vote for the Defense bill even if the Dream Act is in it.

I've been trying, but her line has been busy.

Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother

Just got off the phone with Sen. Crapo's DC office. Talked to staffer named Tim. He remembered me from my call the other day! Said he passed on that info and will pass on info again today.

Said Crapo is co-sponsor of legislation BUT NOT IN FAVOR OF DREAM ACT AMENDMENT.

That probably means he will vote No to the amendment. One can only hope.....

SoSad, is Craig in legislative limbo? Is he voting?

WEBB, WARNER both have busy lines. Earlier when I got through, still no position.

ROCKEFELLER NEEDS MORE CALLS!!!! I've had no trouble getting through all day!

Got STABENOW's voice mail 6 times today.

I have called almost everyone on the NO COMMITTMENT list from last night. (and had my kids faxing all day)
Any Senators in particular to focus on at this time??? I haven't had time to check through this entire thread yet.
