Parasites have killed more humans than all wars combined is your body fighting a parasite war right now?

Parasites are persistent, dangerous and deadly, but for some reason, modern medicine fails to diagnose and treat them, leaving thousands of diseases to fester and infect humans. Many people think because they exercise and eat fairly healthily that they dont have to worry about parasites infecting their body, but parasites dont discriminate, and much of the time we are creating an environment in our body that is conducive for parasites to thrive. Thats why more people have died from parasitic infections than all wars combined, its just that nobody talks about it.Parasites coat themselves in toxins inside your body, such as heavy metals, so they go undetected by your immune system
Talk about invisible and camouflaged foreign invaders. Parasites literally use heavy metal toxins to hide from your immune system, storing them in their biofilm like a camouflaged coat of armor. So, the first strategy for fighting and winning the war against the parasites is to detoxify your body of heavy metals, and filter them from your daily food regimen. This means owning a top-notch water filtration system, avoiding vaccines (that often contain mercury and aluminum), and eating organic food. There are many detoxification products and programs we will cover in this article also.
Most people think of parasites coming from raw sushi or meats that are not cooked well, and this is true, but there are many other sources where parasites thrive and end up finding their way into the human body.
People with pets dont often consider this, but most dog owners think its cute to let their dog lick their face, including their nostrils and their lips. Oftentimes, this occurs just after the dog has urinated or defecated, and then cleaned themselves with their own tongue. Cats may have just used their litter box and have pieces of dirty litter in between their paw pads, then hop up onto the kitchen table or the kitchen counter, where their owners drop or cut food, then eat it.
Then, Western Medicine hubs are prime places for people to pick up parasites, including the hospital, doctors offices, long-term care facilities and clinics. This happens easily when people touch handrails, door handles, tabletops and food counters in cafeterias and work break rooms. These parasites can infect the eyes, ears, bladder, digestive tract, lungs, brain and nervous system. If untreated, parasitic infections can lead to anxiety, depression and death.
Symptoms of parasitic infections include stomach cramps, vomiting, dehydration, fever, lack of appetite, diarrhea, chronic gas, unusually stinky poop that floats and excess tiredness. There are intestinal parasites, such as protozoa, which are single-celled organisms, and also helminths, that are worms and larvae, including tapeworms, hookworms, pinworms and roundworms.
There are ways to prevent, stave off, fight and kill parasites. There are many cleanses available on the market, but definitely check with your naturopathic physician first on these. Wormwood is a great natural remedy that fights off both major classes of parasites, protozoa and helminths. Also, propolis, a resin-like substance made by bees, has medicinal and anti-parasitic properties also, making it the kryptonite of parasites, including worms.
Papaya seeds have been shown in clinical trials to be effective as anti-parasitic medication. Papaya seed porridge effectively kills roundworm eggs. Pumpkin seeds are also rich in berberine, plus palmatine and cucurbitine, all of which are amino acids known to destroy internal parasites because they have antimicrobial and antifungal properties.
Some superfoods are great for warding off parasites, including garlic and foods that are high in beta-carotene, like carrots and sweet potatoes, because they convert that beta-carotene into vitamin A in your body, which helps your system resist parasites, while fortifying your gut flora (good gut bacteria). Again, avoid any raw meat, including fish.

Coriander seeds have been quietly enriching kitchens and health for thousands of years. While many know coriander as a fresh herb or seasoning, its dried seeds are packed with health benefits that go well beyond their flavor. Used in traditional remedies around the world, coriander seeds have captured the attention of scientists revealing surprising and impressive benefits for health and well-being.For centuries coriander seeds have been treasured in kitchens and medicine cabinets alike. Ancient civilizations, from Egypt to China, celebrated coriander not only as a spice but as a natural healer. Egyptian tombs dating 4,000 years have even revealed coriander seeds buried alongside pharaohs, who believed in their healing and protective properties.
These seeds have a warm, earthy flavor with a hint of citrus, making them ideal for seasoning everything from curries to roasted vegetables. Coriander seeds may be small, but they are densely packed with beneficial nutrients. They contain essential minerals, like calcium (67 percent of the daily value or DV), iron (91 percent of DV), magnesium (84 percent of DV), phosphorus (36 percent of DV), potassium (21 percent of DV) and zinc (29 percent of DV) all crucial for bone strength, heart health, muscle function and more.
What makes coriander seeds so special is its rich phytochemicals natural compounds that offer a range of health benefits.
Essential oil
The seeds essential oil contains compounds like alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, camphor and linalool to name a few. Linalool, for instance, is known for its pleasant, slightly spicy aroma and calming effects, while other oils in coriander seeds help protect the body against bacteria, fungi and inflammation.
Phenolic compounds
These compounds, including caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid and ferulic acid, are powerful antioxidants. They play a role in fighting off oxidative stress, which can contribute to aging and chronic diseases.
Flavonoids
With flavonoids like apigenin, kaempferol and quercetin the most studied among flavonoids due to their antioxidative potential and their key roles in the defense system coriander seeds are rich in natural compounds that may protect against cancer and support brain health.
Alkaloids
Compounds, like coriandrin and corianin, have been shown to help with blood sugar control and blood pressure regulation making them beneficial for managing diabetes and hypertension.
Terpenes
Terpenes, such as beta-caryophyllene and limonene in coriander seeds, have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects making coriander seeds useful for fighting infections and soothing inflammation.
Science-backed health benefits of coriander seeds
Traditional Ayurvedic and Chinese Medicine also held coriander seeds in high regard relying on them to aid digestion, cool inflammation and balance the body. Yet, it is only recently that modern science started to understand the full extent of coriander seeds' benefits. These small seeds, packed with antioxidants, essential oils, minerals and vitamins, have been proven to offer numerous health benefits.
Antioxidants for disease protection
Coriander seeds' flavonoids and phenolic compounds make them potent antioxidants. These compounds help the body fight off free radicals unstable molecules that can damage cells and lead to diseases like cancer and heart disease. By neutralizing these free radicals, coriander seeds may help prevent chronic diseases and slow the effects of aging.
Anti-inflammatory support for chronic conditions
Anti-inflammatory compounds, like caffeic acid and linalool, suppress the production of pro-inflammatory markers in the body helping to ease conditions like arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease.
Blood sugar control
Coriander seeds have long been used to manage blood sugar levels in traditional medicine and now modern science is backing this up. Alkaloids in coriander, such as coriandrin and corianin, have been shown to support blood sugar control by boosting insulin sensitivity and protecting the pancreas.
Cancer-fighting potential
Some studies suggest that coriander seeds flavonoids, particularly apigenin and quercetin, can help protect against cancer by encouraging the death of cancer cells and slowing the growth of tumors. Early research shows that coriander seeds may be effective against several types of cancer, including breast, colon and lung cancer.
Natural antimicrobial properties
Coriander's essential oils, particularly camphor and linalool, have strong antibacterial, antifungal and even antiviral effects. Research shows that coriander seed oil can inhibit harmful bacteria like Escherichia coli and Salmonella, making it a useful natural preservative in foods and a safe alternative to synthetic antimicrobials.
Digestive health benefits
The essential oils borneol and linalool in coriander seeds stimulate digestive enzymes, aiding in the breakdown of food. These oils also have carminative properties meaning, they help reduce gas buildup in the digestive tract, relieving bloating and discomfort.
Research highlights that linalool, with its mild antispasmodic effects, can ease digestive cramps and promote smoother digestion.
Heart health benefits
Coriander seeds contain flavonoids like kaempferol and quercetin, both powerful antioxidants that reduce oxidative stress in the cardiovascular system. These antioxidants help prevent cell damage and improve cholesterol levels, with studies showing that coriander seeds may lower "bad" LDL cholesterol while increasing "good" HDL cholesterol.
Additionally, phytosterols present in the seeds have been shown to help lower cholesterol absorption in the body. The magnesium and potassium content may also help in relaxing blood vessels.
Neuroprotective benefits
The flavonoids and terpenes in coriander seeds, especially kaempferol and limonene, help protect brain cells from oxidative stress and inflammation. By preserving neurons, these compounds may prevent cognitive decline and are being studied for their potential to help manage neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
Skin health benefits
Coriander seeds offer skin benefits. The antioxidants kaempferol and quercetin protect skin cells from free radicals, reducing signs of aging and supporting overall skin health. When applied topically, the antibacterial compounds cineole and linalool help treat acne and skin infections by reducing bacteria and inflammation on the skin. Additionally, coriander seeds' detoxifying properties help the body eliminate impurities.

Protect your home with a non-toxic solution against pesky insects
10/30/2024 // HRS Editors // 1.2K Views
Tags: bugs, chemicals, emergency preparedness, green living, homesteading, how-to, insects, natural ingredients, Non Toxic, off grid, pest control, pest repellents, pests, preparedness, prepper, prepping, prepping supplies, prevention, SHTF, survival, survival stockpile, survival supplies, tips, toxic chemicals

Keep your home pest-free using non-toxic solutions that are safe for children, pets and the environment. Using these solutions means you won't need products that contain harsh chemicals to protect your home and loved ones from various pests.
Detailed below are some effective natural pest control recipes that you can easily make using items you may already have at home. (h/t to EverydayCheapskate.com)
Ants
If you find ants in your stockroom, all you need to do is clean the countertops, cabinets and floors with equal parts water and vinegar. The vinegar mixture will help deter ants.
Alternatively, you can try repelling ants with a dishwashing soap solution. Combine equal parts dish soap (such as Blue Dawn) and water in a spray bottle.
You can also use other dish soaps that are also non-toxic, biodegradable and with grease-dissolving properties.
Use dish soap ant spray on ants or other insects. The soap breaks down their exoskeletons, which makes them die almost instantly without harming you or your family.
Bugs, ants and spiders
Use lemon to keep bugs, ants and spiders out of your home.
Blend half a cup of ground lemon (including the rind) with one gallon of water. Use a garden sprinkling can to treat the perimeter of your house with the natural lemon spray.
The lemon solution is also mild and environmentally friendly. (Related: Prepping 101: How to protect your home and stockpile supplies against pests and rodents.)
Cockroaches
Mix 1/4 cup shortening with 1/8 cup sugar in one bowl.
In another bowl, combine 1/2 pound of powdered boric acid, which you can buy at most pharmacies, with 1/2 cup flour. Add the dry mixture to the shortening.
Slowly stir in a little water until the mixture turns into a soft dough.
Roll the dough into marble-sized balls and leave them in areas frequented by cockroaches. This bait is more effective than commercial products, but it should be kept away from children and pets.
Mosquitoes
Plant basil around your house. Basil will look and smell great, but keeping the plants well-watered will enhance their scent and make them more effective at keeping mosquitoes away.
Where to get DEET-free bug spray
The Health Ranger Store is committed to helping you prepare for any emergency and protect your family from various pests.
That's why we're proud to introduce an assortment of non-toxic pest control solutions such as the DEET-Free Bugs Away + Bug Defender Combo Pack.
Health Ranger's DEET-Free Bugs Away Spray
Insects and pests usually crawl out of their hiding places in summer. Many of these pesky bugs may also invade your home and get in the way of your family's fun summer activities.
But there's no need to worry during bug season because the Health Ranger Store has the perfect product for you: Health Ranger's Bugs Away Spray. This product is formulated with clean, non-toxic ingredients derived from plants found across the United States, such as:
- Catnip The essential oil of catnip, a member of the mint family, is 10 times more effective at fighting off mosquitoes than commercial insect repellents. Catnip oil is also effective at repelling house flies and cockroaches.
- Cedarwood Cedarwood oil or cedar oil protects against insects by dehydrating them. The fragrance of the oil also disorients insects by blocking their ability to detect chemical signals called pheromones, which they use to find food.
- Citronella The active compounds in citronella oil, an essential oil sourced from certain species of lemongrass, can effectively mask other scents that attract insects. Citronella oil is a non-toxic and eco-friendly alternative to commercial insect repellents.
- Eucalyptus A study published in the journal Insecticide and Acaricide Tests showed that the oil extracted from eucalyptus tree leaves can effectively repel ants. Another study published in the Malaria Journal showed that the oil can effectively repel mosquitoes for up to 12 hours.
- Lavender Lavender contains a non-toxic compound called linalool that is effective at repelling moths, flies, fleas and mosquitoes. Lavender is also great for the skin because it is gentle and nourishing.
- Tea tree Tea tree oil, a widely used natural medicine in Australia, is an effective insect repellent. A study published in the Australian Journal of Entomology showed that insect repellents containing tea tree oil are effective against biting midges, bush flies and mosquitoes.
- Lemongrass Lemongrass oil is an effective repellent against mosquitoes and house flies, according to a study published in the journal Parasite.
- Patchouli Patchouli, a flowering plant from the mint family, has been used for centuries to repel ants, bed bugs, fleas, flies, mosquitoes and moths. A study published in Artificial Cells, Nanomedicine, and Biotechnology showed that patchouli essential oil can effectively repel mosquitoes for up to two hours.
- Witch hazel Witch hazel is often used in homemade repellents because it's one of the gentlest astringents on the skin. It also helps moisturize and refresh the skin.
Health Ranger's Bugs Away Spray is 100 percent natural and contains no DEET (N, N-diethyl-meta-toluamide), artificial fragrances, or synthetic chemicals. It is also extensively lab-tested for glyphosate, heavy metals and microbiology.
Additionally, Health Ranger's Bugs Away Spray is gentle on the skin since it is made with natural ingredients. This means it can be applied as often as needed.
DIRECTIONS: Shake well before use. Because Health Ranger's DEET-Free Bugs Away Spray contains no artificial chemicals, it can be used as often as needed. Reapply after swimming or bathing. Not for ingestion.
Health Ranger Select DEET-Free Bug Defender
Health Ranger Select Bug Defender is a bug spray specially formulated to protect your home from pesky insects while also being safe to use around pets, kids and adults.
Its key ingredient is cedar oil, a fragrant and pet-friendly oil sourced from Texas cedar, which has natural insect-repelling properties.
Our all-natural, pet-friendly formula takes out insects at all stages of life, from eggs to adults. It can also keep away virtually all kinds of pesky insects, such as mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, bed bugs and cockroaches.
Please remember that Health Ranger Select Bug Defender should never be ingested or sprayed on the skin. It is also not for use on plants.
Avoid these dangerous bugs with Health Ranger Select Bug Defender:
- Bed bugs
- Cockroaches
- Fleas
- Lice
- Mosquitoes
- Ticks
When used as directed, the Health Ranger Select Bug Defender can effectively keep away these pesky invaders.
Most commercial bug sprays contain toxic ingredients and synthetic chemicals that are harmful to your health. For example, DEET, an active ingredient commonly found in commercial bug sprays, can cause breathing difficulties, rashes and seizures in both humans and animals when inhaled, ingested, or absorbed through the skin.
Health Ranger Select Bug Defender contains absolutely no harmful ingredients like DEET. It is safe to use around kids and pets because it contains only all-natural, non-toxic ingredients like cedar oil.
Derived from Texas cedar, a tree with natural insect-repelling properties, cedar oil can dehydrate and disorient insects thanks to a naturally occurring alcohol called cedrol.
To use Health Ranger Select Bug Defender, lightly spray it on areas that are prone to bugs, such as window frames, doorways and carpets. Apply weekly or as needed.

10 Essential tips for emergency preparedness: Be ready for anything
10/31/2024 // HRS Editors // 620 Views
Tags: emergency food, emergency preparedness, emergency preparedness plan, food freedom, food supply, freeze-dried foods, goodfood, homesteading, how-to, off grid, preparedness, prepper, prepper pantry, prepping, prepping stockpile, prepping supplies, SHTF, survival, survival stockpile, survival supplies, tips

Whether you're an experienced prepper or a non-prepper, the tips below will help you start your preparedness journey. (h/t to MDEM.Maryland.gov)
Identify common emergencies
Before disaster strikes, research which hazards are common in your area. Are tornadoes common? What about earthquakes?
Try to find out what natural or man-made disasters pose a risk for you and your family.
Once you confirm these details, take the necessary steps to ensure your home can withstand natural disasters. If this isn't possible, secure a safe bug-out location and make preparations to drive to this location when it's no longer safe to stay at home.
Create a family disaster plan/emergency preparedness plan
Your family needs an emergency preparedness plan so everyone knows where you can all meet if you need to evacuate.
The plan should also include important details such as an out-of-state "family contact," how to get emergency information in your community and how to take care of any family pets.
Conduct emergency drills with the whole family
Once your emergency preparedness plan has been finalized, you should also set aside some time to run emergency drills with the whole family. This is important because it will teach everyone the designated spot they should go to after an emergency like a fire or an earthquake.
Your whole family should know how to respond during different emergencies. And if the whole family needs to evacuate, they should know the proper evacuation procedures and routes. (Related: How to build a financial preparedness plan before SHTF.)
Teach your children the basics of preparedness
Depending on their ages, you can talk to your children about what the common risks are and what your family will do if disaster strikes.
If they are older, you can also teach them useful survival skills like firestarting or knot-tying. Older kids can also learn how to cook without electricity, how to signal for help, or how to care for minor wounds.
You can also get your children to help while you restock your survival stockpile, which should have staples such as:
Prep for family members with special needs
Don't forget to prep for infants, seniors and other family members with special needs.
Stock up on supplies they might need such as diapers, baby formula, or prescription medication.
Learn CPR and first aid
Before SHTF, get trained in basic first aid and CPR. Your training could save the life of a family member or a neighbor after a disaster.
Eliminate hazards in your home
Check your home, property or workplace for any hazards and get rid of them to reduce the risk of accidents when SHTF.
This includes checking for plumbing leaks or damaged windows and conducting the necessary repairs.
Understand common risks
Aside from natural disasters, disaster preparedness should also consider man-made disasters. Know what to do during explosions, along with other emergencies such as chemical, biological, or nuclear threats.
Knowing what to do when SHTF is a crucial part of prepping and can make all the difference when you are dealing with an emergency.
Prepare a bug-out bag and car emergency kit for your car
Having bug-out bags at home or car emergency kits in your vehicle can help save your life if you ever get stranded in your car or have to be self-sufficient at home or work until help arrives.
Help non-preppers get started
While things are "normal," try to teach your non-prepper neighbors or family members about the benefits of prepping to help them prepare for different emergencies.
Where to get lab-verified food supplies for your prepping stockpile

Garlic has long been celebrated as more than just a kitchen staple. It is a symbol of good fortune, health and protection weaving together the culinary and the sacred.Though it makes only a brief appearance in the Bible, this humble bulb has earned its place as one of the most powerful herbs in modern times. Often called "camphor of the poor," this "stinking rose" offers a bounty of health benefits by acting as a natural antimicrobial. In essence, growing garlic at home is like having your pharmacy a potent ally in warding off ailments and safeguarding your wellness and well-being. This small bulb deserves a spot in everyone's life.
Health power of garlic
Garlic, along with its Allium relatives like leeks and onions, has long been known for fighting infections. But garlic stands out for its strong antimicrobial punch thanks to some unique sulfur-based compounds. Here's a breakdown of garlic's most powerful health defenders.
Allicin
Allicin is what gives raw garlic its signature smell and it is also the main player when it comes to health benefits. It is a powerhouse against a wide range of harmful bacteria even those resistant to many antibiotics. Allicin can also combat fungi, parasites and viruses. When it interacts with bacteria, it disrupts their vital processes, which eventually kills them. For instance, it has been shown to improve skin infections caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) a notoriously tough bacteria. The catch? Allicin does not last long in the bloodstream, so its use may be better suited for inhalation or topical treatments.
Ajoene
Formed from allicin, ajoene is another sulfur-rich compound in garlic oil. It is effective against bacteria and fungi, including strains like H. pylori and Candida albicans. Though its antimicrobial action is slightly less potent than allicin, ajoene still packs a punch. However, like allicin, it breaks down quickly once inside the body.
Diallyl polysulfides
Found in garlic oil, these compounds vary in strength depending on how many sulfur atoms they contain. The more sulfur atoms, the stronger their ability to tackle bacteria. Among these, diallyl tetrasulfide (DAS-4) is the most potent making garlic oil effective as an antibacterial remedy, especially against drug-resistant strains.
Vinyldithiins
Although vinyldithiins, also found in garlic oil, don't have antimicrobial properties, they contribute to garlic's overall health benefits in other ways, such as helping with weight management.
Wellness wonders of garlic
Garlic, whether raw or in the form of oil or powder, is not just a flavorful addition to your meals it is a natural remedy packed with therapeutic properties. A diet rich in garlic-infused functional foods can offer a range of science-backed health benefits. Here are some of the key ways garlic can project and boost your health.
Boosts the power of antibiotics against resistant infections
Fresh garlic extract (FGE) has been found to enhance the effectiveness of antibiotics. In a 2015 study in Jundishapur Journal of Microbiology, researchers tested how FGE worked alongside antibiotics to fight resistant strains like Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Pseudonomas aeruginosa and Candida albicans.
The study revealed that FGE alone had significant power against MRSA and C. albicans, but was less effective on P. aeruginosa. Even better, when combined with certain antibiotics, FGE improved the antibiotics' ability to fight these stubborn infections. This suggests that garlic could be a helpful companion to conventional treatments for drug-resistant infections.
A natural fungal fighter. Garlic extracts are effective against fungi like Aspergillus, Candida and Trichophyton, which can cause skin infections, yeast infections and more. Applying garlic oil externally can even help with issues like ringworm and warts. In one study, researchers synthesized silver nanoparticles using garlic extract enhancing its antifungal abilities even further. Garlic's sulfur compounds disulfides, monosulfides and trisulfides are the secret behind its powerful action against fungal infections.
Broad-spectrum antibacterial power. Studies show that garlic extracts are as powerful as some broad-spectrum antibiotics effectively tackling bacteria like Escherichia coli, Listeria, Salmonella and S. aureus. Garlic's antibacterial properties come from its ability to break down bacterial cell membranes causing the bacteria to die off without harming the host. That makes garlic a promising alternative to antibiotics ~ especially for people looking to avoid the side effects of commercial drugs.
A potent antiviral ally. Preclinical studies have shown that garlic extracts can stop viruses from multiplying, even in cases like the coronavirus. In some tests, garlic has been used to treat infections ranging from sexually transmitted diseases to lung infections like pulmonary tuberculosis. Its high organosulfur content interacts with the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE2) protein and other viral proteins showing the potential to prevent or reduce the severity of viral infections, including the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19).
Protects against cardiovascular disease
Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of death worldwide, but garlic has been shown to offer significant protection against various heart-related conditions, including hypertension and high cholesterol. Here's how garlic can help keep your body healthy and strong.
Lowers blood pressure and fights hypertension. Garlic has proven to be particularly helpful for people suffering from high blood pressure (hypertension) one of the major risk factors for heart disease. Studies have shown that garlic can help reduce both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. This effect is largely due to garlic's organosulfur compounds, which help relax the blood vessels improving blood flow and reducing pressure on the heart. Garlic supplements have been found to lower blood pressure levels almost as effectively as some conventional medications with systolic pressure dropping by up to 10 mm Hg and diastolic by 8 mm Hg.
Improves cholesterol levels. Research has found that garlic, particularly aged black garlic extract (AGE) can help lower total cholesterol, triglycerides and harmful LDL (bad) cholesterol levels. By doing so, garlic reduces the buildup of fatty deposits in the arteries, which can lead to blockages and heart attacks. It also improves HDL (good) cholesterol levels, which helps protect against heart disease.
Prevents blood clots and thrombosis. By inhibiting platelet aggregation (the clumping together of platelets in the blood), garlic reduces the risk of dangerous blood clots that can lead to heart attacks or strokes.
Anti-atherosclerotic benefits. Garlic has been found to have a direct and anti-atherogenic effect meaning it helps prevent plaque formation and slows the development of atherosclerosis. It also works by inhibiting certain enzymes, like sialidase, that play a role in the formation of harmful LDL cholesterol a key factor in the progression of atherosclerosis.
Supports overall cardiovascular health. Beyond these benefits, garlic has been shown to enhance several cardiovascular parameters. It can improve blood circulation, reduce the thickness of the carotid artery walls (a marker of heart health) and support microcirculation ensuring better oxygen and nutrient delivery to the heart and surrounding tissues. Studies suggest that garlic can even improve heart function by increasing Na+/K+-ATPase levels, which regulate sodium and potassium in heart tissue preventing hypertrophy (enlarged heart muscle).
Helps prevent cancer
Research has shown that garlic extract can help inhibit the growth of cancer cells and support the body's natural defenses in fighting off cancer particularly in the digestive tract.
Reduces the risk of digestive cancers. Studies have found that consuming garlic can significantly reduce the risk of cancers affecting the colon, esophagus and stomach. Garlic's bioactive compounds such as allicin, allyl mercaptan) diallyl sulfide (DATS) is known for its strong anti-cancer properties. These compounds help reduce tumor formation, slow down cancer cell growth and prevent the spread of cancer by targeting the blood vessels that feed tumors.
Aged garlic extract (AGE) and cancer prevention. By reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS) and preventing endothelial activation, AGE can help protect cells from the damage that can lead to cancer. This not only helps reduce the risk of tumor formation but also supports overall cardiovascular health creating a double benefit for those incorporating garlic into their diet.
Boosts the immune system. By stimulating helper T-cells, garlic supports the body's immune response helping it to fight off infections and, potentially, cancer cells. This immune boost plays a vital role in preventing cancerous cells from growing and spreading.
