Thanx for the update Sosadforus. So it looks like the AGJobs scheme will be put off until September. And it looks like Sen. Chambliss is back on the side of the U.S. middle class.

As people on this board know, can you imagine the fraud and potentially millions of amnestied illegals that would result if AGJobs scheme passed?! With our government's track record on immigration -- minimal enforcement, no proper documentation with millions of illegals saying they were agricultural workers, and minimal or no oversight and follow up to see if they were still working in agriculture down the line!

    NO NO NO !!

Senator Dole is up. She says this bill has money in it for 287 (g) She is proposing an amendment that says Homeland Security can't skate on this. Apparently they can the way it's written now. Did anyone notice this provision when reading the bill?

I believe the bill gives Chertoff the option to use funding as he see fit. with doles amenment he would have to use the 75 million only for the 287g program.

Once again I can't find the numbers in sequence on the sight. The only list I have is based on an old bill and vote. It's so convoluted that I can't find who I want to call. It was fine for that bill but its not working now.
