About the time warp, this is what I think:

Apparently it has been in the works for some time. BUT, since sentiment has changed so much since 2003 against illegal aliens, Mexico is NOW SERIOUS about establishing that consulate. I also think that since then, Crapo has changed his mind. I think he is against it now.

Thank you so much for your support, bulldogger. Goedde is a good man. He is Chair of the Idaho senate committee on education. He just nixed (last week) the bill to give in-state tuition to illegals here.

My senator (Idaho State Legislature) is Sen. Russell Fulcher. He and I have been emailing for a couple of weeks now about II. He is vice-chair of the education committee with Goedde. These are good guys. They are definitely on our side. SO WHATEVER INFO YOU CAN GIVE GOEDDE IS GOING TO BE PUT TO GOOD USE.

The Mexican government?
The State of Idaho?
The U.S. Government?

I think it's important to find out who has the petition and who was petitioned.
