Annex, how about the American government forcing all illegals to go back to their own countries and fix there own problems. If we annex MX then do we Annex Columbia, Brazil and so on and so on. You see just like what families here should be doing instead of the government handing out freebees which is in fact against our constitution we should be forcing these people back to fix their own governments and own problems. They should write there own constitutions and remove the corrupt individuals that are there now.

How many illegal immigrants would go back to take up these new jobs in their former communities.
Something else I thought of. By the time the illegal Mexicans in the US realize they might have better jobs at home and this plan isn't some trick of the evil government, illegals for El Salvador, Ecuador and Guatamala would have taken all the good jobs.

This country owes nothing to that south of the border, nor any other for the record. We have allowed this....but no more! We'll see what prevails, but I HIGHLY doubt there will be any annexation.

Hey Brian503a, we don't need to be hearing from PETA.

Can we afford healthcare for that many people? Would their oil fields cover the cost of that you think?

Can anyone explain to me how they think we can successfully country build in Iraq but not in MX?
Can anyone tell me why it is our business to build in EITHER place? Why should the US taxpayers empty our pockets to keep the rest of the world afloat? I'm sick and tired of all of them and, if we did it my way, we wouldn't give any foreign country or any foreign person one thin dime ere again.

I am not suggesting any annexation be supported by tax dollars other than in the normal course of support for any other state in the union. If we do not "expand" our economy who will fund social security. Adding over time new states to the union will expand our economy in a way we could not otherwise accomplish.

On a side note I think the US military would sign off on this. How else where else will they get new recuites.

I have a herd of 50 cattle. They're all suffering from socialist parasites sucking the life blood out of them. Some are very sick hardly able to stand, but the ones better off are able to prop them up in my close quarters corral. If I want to expand my herd. The answer is not to go to my neighbor and get a cow that is a carrier of parasites and now on its' knees. I really need to deal with the parasites to bring back the health of my herd. My neighbor should too.

The Social Security problem would have never reached a crisis situation if the politicians had kept their greedy hands off the trust fund. I don't like to hear that we need more immigrants to pay for my Social Security benefits when I retire. I've been paying in since I was a kid. I've paid in full. The politicians can tweek the system to keep the trust fund solvent. I'm beholden to no one on this issue and we sure as hell don't need to look to Mexico for any kind of fix. Besides low income people get a much much larger return on the small amount they pay into the system.

And, Andy, as one familiar with TX tv stations, I'm sure you constantly hear those lawyers begging the people to come let them help them collect Social Security disability benefits! Who do you suppose their clients are?
