Like I said.....this land that was blessed by our Creator was intended to be a beacon for those who need to flee corrupt gov't. Just like those who came on "Plymouth". I believe this.

Do you think our Creator might have given us a mind and the will to "stand up" to corrupt governments, DD ? Or did he just mean for the world to constantly be "on the run" ?

When America's government becomes so corrupt due to losing it's status as a land of laws, failure to uphold the constitution, failure of the government to function under the principle of "for the people, by the people", when America is truly no longer a free nation.......to which country then do you suggest that everyone run?

You might ask WHY the people didn't stand up to Parliment when when there was not separation of church and state and why they ran to America? The resistance would have been futile, there were TOO FEW.

There were only approximately 150 people who first came to America seeking political asylum, and then Great Britain saw value in colonizing the Eastern United States, and then sent more people for the purpose of colonizing.

Why make a distinction between legal and illegal immigration? A strange question, especially when the name of this website is considered. I thought this site’s stance was pro-legal immigration and against illegal immigration.

2ndamendsis' post simply makes mention of “Hispanic kids” without distinction of their immigration status. Indeed, he fails to even distinguish between Hispanic citizens and Hispanic residents (legal or illegal).

Now, one would expect that you’d be able to understand the paramount importance of establishing the legal status of an immigrant that is the subject of a discussion on legal and illegal immigration.

Personally, I think trolls are very good for our cause. I have NEVER seen a troll help their pro-illegal cause and in fact EVERY SINGLE time they end up strengthening our cause because they force us to reiterate the facts and make our points again. Often times we make those points even more clearly than before. It only makes sense that the more practice we have the better we get at "stating the facts and the truth" more clearly.
THAT CAN ONLY BE GOOD FOR US.

The only thing I do believe they accomplish doing is "wasting our time" and that's not good. That's when I choose to ignore them. Usually they get aggravated start breaking the rules to "get our attention" (the Kim Jung Il tactic) and then they are banned, it's over until a week or so later and we start the cycle over with a new troll.

Usually an onslaught of trolls indicates the opposition is in a state of distress and desparate. This is an important observation I've made about trolls and a very positive sign.
