Maybe now the GOP can stop chasing the Hispanic vote which accounts for less than 10% of the voting population. When are they going to learn that Hispanics do not vote Republican! This despite the fact Ronald Reagan gave these people amnesty in 1986.

This despite the fact that George Bush over the past eight years has refused to close our borders and did everything in his power to pass amnesty, whereby the majority of those who would have benefited would have been Hispanics! This despite the fact that John McCain campaigned in Mexico, pandered to Hispanics and promised amnesty! Still, despite all, Hispanics have not embraced the Republican ticket by any means.

Granting Hispanics amnesty or promising to do so has not materialized in Hispanic votes for the Republican party! Accept it and move on for goodness sakes!

You do not pander to a voting block that represents less than 10% of the voting population, in lieu of alienating your base and those who might cross-over. This is especially true when 70% of Americans opposed amnesty of any sorts! That's political suicide! Further, this pandering to Hispanics is divisive and does absolutely nothing for the majority of Americans who are turned off by it!

Now we have Obama who has promised Hispanics some sort of amnesty or pathway to citizenship. If this amnesty ever passes, it will be the end of the Republican ticket, perhaps for good. It might also very well be the end of our country as we know it. Through chain migration, the total third world migration tally could possibly reach 100 million over the next 5-10 years.

That's a conservative estimate! That figure is based upon the fact there are probably 20 million illegals now in the country. Each probably has an average of five family members that would be eligible for immediate citizenship.

I do not know how this country could survive such a massive influx of third world immigrants who have little desire to assimilate. I honestly do not know what the next four years are going to bring to this country....

Stupid Bush, he should have been giving Asians green cards and citizenship instead of Latinos. Read this:

    European donkey, Asian elephant
Europe wants Obama in the White House, while Asia is rooting for McCain

American presidential elections provide a near perfect test to understand the difference between European and Asian world views, even if the two continents are far from united internally. If you want America to lead by the power of example, you favour Barack Obama; if you want to be reassured by the continuation of America's power in a traditional security sense, you probably prefer John McCain.

Whereas a majority of Europeans – with the exception of those who for historical and geographic reasons are obsessed with the return of the "Russian bear" – support Obama, a majority of Asians, particular among the elite, seem to support McCain. This difference stems above all from strategic considerations, but it probably also contains a cultural dimension.

In Asia, Indonesia may look "European" in its Obama craze, but it essentially constitutes an anomaly, easily explainable by Obama's brief Indonesian upbringing. Otherwise, and for very different reasons, a majority of Asian elites are awaiting the growing possibility of an Obama victory with some bewilderment and even apprehension. For example, Japanese elites tend to favour continuity over change.

In their mind, the hard power of the United States is more important than its soft power, and their vision of an America "bound to lead" is largely unchanged. For them, the US is above all the strategic counterweight needed to balance China.

But the Chinese, too, may very likely be favouring McCain, for the opposite reason. The decline of America's image and influence in the world does not annoy them. As Asia's leading power, China has seized the mantle of "hope" from the US. America could regain it under Obama, but not under McCain. Why favour change, when continuity works so well?

Indian elites reach the same conclusion for different reasons. The Bush years are seen positively, for they coincide with the consolidation of India's international status and emergence as America's key diplomatic partner in Asia. In Singapore, ideological considerations reinforce strategic interests. A very conservative regime naturally tends to prefer a Republican candidate over a Democrat.

Reflect upon these wise words from Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (who has great grades from Numbers) and who is leading in his race for reelection:

    ----

"U.S. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, who was leading in the fight to retain his 46th District seat against Democratic rival and Huntington Beach Mayor Debbie Cook, was reflective and chose words that didn’t soothe the wounds of those in attendance.

The result of the presidential election was not a rejection of the fundamental Republican values, he said, but that of the Republican leadership.

“[b][color=red]It’s a rejection of Karl Rove and George Bush and John McCain. I am sorry to put it this way,â€

So in that sense, why pander to any group?! Stop pandering to working white folks, stop pandering to the Blacks, stop pandering to the Jewish popution, stop pandering to woman, stop pandering to the young, stop pandering to the seniors, stop pandering to the military community, stop pandering to anyone!! Then who do they pander too???? Eskimos?

Just because the Republican party has a hard time winning over, say, the Black population doesn't mean they should stop trying. They need to make in roads by making it clear to the group that the party cares about them and that they understand their struggles. The day you abandon a group because you feel that it's just impossible to convince them is the day you lift the white flag of defeat. You just got to keep trying.

The day we lost was the day McCain entered the race...and then won the primary. He was the wrong candidate at the wrong time and the GOP didn't have the guts to step up and stop the train wreck that was coming. This was the same thing that happened in 1995 when the GOP ran Bob Dole....same scenario....too old...not strong enough to stand up against Clinton as McCain wasn't strong enough to stand up against a young, smooth-talking Obama. It was like the GOP threw a minnow into the sharks pool....and it was eaten alive!!

McCain is a good, patriotic man....but did not have the strength and charisma to fight this battle. McCain lost the public every time he opened his mouth. He kept repeating himself over and over again (just as Palin did) and saying nothing of value... and he was not a good enough speaker or convincing enough to win votes.

Any positive stand McCain may have had on immigration was squelched the day he sided with Ted Kennedy on immigration reform. In all of the years McCain was in the Congress....he did very little (or nothing) to secure the border and stop the invasion in his own state of AZ. Because of his past actions and inactions....what examples did he give in all of those years to entice and prove to Americans that he would be a good president? None!! While his military background was a plus....it was not enough to satisfy the current day voters.

Romney or Huckabee would have had a much better chance of winning the American voters because they did not have the "spotted" background and age that McCain had....and they were more outgoing, experienced and much better speakers....and McCain was a Washington insider that had been in Washington too long....just as Ted Kennedy and some of McCain's other cohorts!! Because of McCains past actions and relationship with some of the other members over the years....I believe Americans had lost trust in his ability to lead. They didn't feel he was up to the challenge.

Americans tried to tell the GOP that they were going down the wrong path....but they wouldn't listen "to the people!" Americans were not willing to commit or support a candidate that they did not have faith in. Most Americans who voted for McCain did not vote for him to win.....they were voting against Obama. Obama was a young smooth-talking con-man....and McCain could not lower himself to that level to win.

If the GOP doesn't get its act together before the next congressional elections....they might as well pack up their tents and go home!! The Demwits are taking over Washington....and conservative Americans are angry....but no one is listening to them!!!!!

Please! Don't Associate McCain with Republicans!

McCain Ready to Work With the Radical Obama With The Radical Terrorist Friends, Even Though He Said He Wouldn't Associate With Such People, if You Do, You Must Think Like Them Too! Now McCain Ready to Buddy up to Obama.

I don't think McCain ever wanted to win. All these politicians hug the polls like they are magic in a bottle, they give them insight into what the American People want, and it has been well established in those polls that the overwhelming majority wants a secure border, and law enforcement, and out of this bogus war, but the politicians, including McCain and Obama overlook those polls, which in turn tells us they don't give to bits about what AMERICANS want, they care about what they can shove down our throat by calling us bigots and racist because we want our country secured by any means nessesary.

John McCain knew he wouldn't win because he has NOT STOOD with middle America as he claims to be. Johh McCain said he's a maverick and will fight for Americans. The fact is, he has fought against the majority of the American peoples interest for quite sometime now. All this maverick stuff was all about nothing, he's tried to hornswaggle the American People into one amnesty we didn't want and he's going to try and do it again even though he'd said he learned from the last time and oddly enough he didn't learn enough about it to make it a campaign issue or more likely, never intended to do what he thought the American People want in the first place, REAL BORDER SECURITY.

Illegal immigration - poll after poll says Americans don't want Amnesty and want the borders secured. John McCain KNEW where the American People stand on this but instead of siding with the majority of Americans what did he do? He was a maverick against the American People. Same position as Obama. Ever notice how all the people you knew that laughed at Ron Paul sure wished they would have supported him after getting stuck with these two clowns.

The Bail out - Poll after poll showed 70% of Americans didn't want it.
John McCain KNEW. Same Position as Obama. As both Candidates wanted to try and talk bullcrap about cutting spending, all they talked about was spending. Never heard a word about bringing any troops home that we have stationed in 100 countries, seems if your serious about cutting spending that would be a good place to start to save some real dough.

The War - Poll after poll has shown that 65% of Americans felt mislead about the war and wanted out. John McCain KNEW where the American People stand on this but instead of siding with the majority of Americans what did he do? He was a maverick against the American People. Obama wanted out, but haven't heard him say much about withdrawal lately, most likely be another year or two, same as McCain. How can you loose a war you weren't supposed to be in? McCain has an ego trip on this one. Pride is no reason to kill people and occupy they're land.

Global Warming - Poll after poll has shown that the Majority of Americans don't believe in it and don't want to be taxed while other more polluting countries get a free ride. John McCain KNEW where the American People stand on this but instead of siding with the majority of Americans what did he do? He was a maverick against the American People. Obama has the same Position. They both want to tackle this manufactured problem like a they did cigarettes, tax people to death so they quit driving and using electricity. How humane of them.

Health Care- McCain knows this is an issue facing the American people. In large part healthcare is un affordable to Americans because of the illegals using these services and not paying the bills, we get stuck paying them and with higher insurance rates and deductibles. John McCain KNEW where the American People stand on this but instead of siding with the majority of Americans what did he do? He was a maverick against the American People.. The real question that needs to be asked here is how is the immgration and amnesty thing going to go down and how many more millions are you going to let come into America? Without these facts, healthcare cannot be discussed on a realist basis, wiithout the numbers to crunch your just crunching bullcrap and niether John McCain or Obama has answered these questions, so in essence they have the same policy which is bullcrap the people into thinking your going to help solve the healthcare problem when the real answer to the problem is enforce the immgration laws and get the free loaders off the system, that lowers everyones rates. and we won't need a national healthcare system to subsidize the international corporations workers.

The defecit- We are still printing up trillions of more dollars every month while we face the largest debt of any nation in history. Yet, John McCain votes to keep printing up trillions while trying to cut dingleberrys out of the budget and claiming to be physically responsible. John McCain KNEW where the American People stand on this but instead of siding with the majority of Americans what did he do? He was a maverick against the American People. Hey John here are three ways to save big money for America. Bring home troops stationed all over the world, get rid of the federal reserve and save the tens of billions we pay them every month, fine employers heavily for hiring illegals, they go home and the money paid to american workers stays here in America and we don't have to pay billions in handouts to the illegals.

Energy and Oil Production - As McCain is an advocate of taxing the American people for carbon output, and obviously supporting the global warming hoax, he doesn't want to make the enviroment anymore dirty by using fossil fuels, or if we do, we get taxed to death just like Obama said he'd do to the coal fired plants. John McCain KNEW where the American People stand on this but instead of siding with the majority of Americans what did he do? He was a maverick against the American People.

The Most Important Thing We Haven't Heard From Any Politician.

The most important thing a society, a person or a family needs is stability.
Stability is the base to build a prosperous society on.
Stability promotes a natural remedy for most of America's ills and yet we haven't heard one word of this. With illegal immigration unchecked there is no stability because a base standard of living cannot be established. Once all the labor force is employed then a base wage can be established and stability can begin to form, but if you have no floor in the amount of foreign labor coming into the country whether it be legal or illegal a base cannot be established and therefore stability isn't established. Stability is the main staple and goal of any prosperous economy and healthy population. Business thrives on stability and without stability you will see a decrease in business. Stabilty provides for a healthy and learning family. As a family is stable they are more apt to learn better, be healthier and save more money. An unstabil family will worry more and when you worry, you simply cannot focus on other things like education and raising kids. And an unstabil family will usually pay higher fee's as they shift dollars to rob peter and pay paul. As long as we have unlimited illegal and legal immigration coming here to work, our population will be less stabil and that is bad for this country, yet we have heard no talk of this at all in the campaign.

The only place Obama and McCain is different is on the war, and I'll be willing to bet Obama will not pull out more than 50% of our troops and it'll be a year at least, so, there really isn't any difference there either.

And Obama and McCain healthcare plans are basicly the same because if you legalize 40 million illegals and bring in another 40 million of illegals families, either way, healthcare is un affordable again. Also with the immgrants having 4 to 5 babies, we will once again be paying for their healthcare as the healthcare companies will pool us all together, and that means a doctors visit is going to cost you $700. It cost us $500 to take our kid to the doctor for strep throat last month, and that was for 15 minutes.

McCain: "Obama has radical associations, I wouldn't associate with people like that", but I will associate with someone that does associate with them. Ok, McCain, all that ranting you did about Obama having ties to radical groups and personalities, now your willing to work with the one you said had radical views of hate for America and wants to make America a socialist country? Two faced McCain.

I guess next McCain will want to go with Obama on his trips to meet with leaders of totalitarian governments without pre-conditions? Might as well, he hasn't really stood for anything good for Americans, oh, I forgot he wanted the tax break for the corporations, and the socialist bailout of homeowners. Here's a solution McCain, take everything the financial crooks have for restitution to the homeowners they mislead and then throw the crooks in jail whether it be homeowners that lied on the loan apps or the criminal loan officer, then we won't have this problem again. You don't solve this by bailing out everyone with freebee's, no lesson learned that way.

This is part of the reason John McCain didn't win, and he knew he was on the wrong side of every position because all you have to do if your a politician is look at the data of human thinking which measures what Americans want and are thinking, the politicians use them anytime they want something, they are called scientific polling data, as long as the polls show the American people are for their cause and it suits their agenda, they will sight that poll time after time, but when the polls show the Citizens are overwhelmingly against they're cause or agenda, they just ignore the fact that the American people don't want they're solution. Better yet just have a referrendum and let the American people decide, do we live in a constitutional republic or not?
GOOD PRESIDENTS AND POLITICIANS DON'T IGNORE THE MAJORITY OF CITIZENS.

Now McCain says we must all come together and he's ready to go to work for Obama, isn't that nice? See, we must all come together to right the social wrongs in America. No one can dispute that there are social wrongs in America such as racism but the politicians again create the problem and then have the solution, just like the financial crisis. These politicnas talk as if we have a race war going on with thousands of deaths everyday. We are a nation divided because the politicians won't do the will of the American people, they just give us unatural uncommon sense choices that pit one group against another, just like the government funds radical ethnic groups with our money, which they use to undercut the fabric of America and then they wonder why Americans are pissed.

The crappy seceret is, the government doesn't want to move people up by getting out of the peoples way and letting them run they're own lives and controlling who they are and what they do, where they live and what they accquire in their lives, the government wants to keep the little man down and little and bring the others down to his size, just like they've done with illegal immigration, instead of the illegals being paid good wages for hard work, the American citizens are paid lower wages just for the simple fact that the companies know they are illegal as does the illegal, so they will work them cheaper, or get another illegal that will work for cheap, and then that sends the messege to the American worker, if you don't work cheap, we'll get rid of you and hire another illegal. Thats how the government works, they bring everyone down and keeps them down, they don't lift the low person up to the level of the American citizen, therfore they control everyone and everybody, and rake in trillions in taxes, and the corporations that control the politicians make a fortune at everyones expense and that is why they want us to come together as a nation. It isn't to fix social security, or to balance the budget, or to build infastructure. There is only one reason the politicians feel we need to come together on they're terms and that is to get American to accept tons of foreigners coming here, us subsidizing them and therefore accepting globalism, thats the goal. If they wanted to unite America, they could just start enforcing the immigration laws, thats the terms Americans want to unite on, but it doesn't suite the politicians global agenda or the corporate agenda. The politicnas make out like bandits, the global corporations make out like bandits and the American tax payer gets to pay for every bit of it. Its just another big criminal rackett stealing our sweat, blood, money and futures to make some stuffed shirt a bunch of cash.

Both these candidates ignored alot of debating on several subjects and this will be revisited and discussed, and we will be heard once again!

I guess with the LOW GRADE EDUCATION we are now serving the american people, people can't understand just about everything that has gone up in price is connected to illegal immigration. Our healthcare, lower wages, mortgage defaults (look where the largest concentration of illegal immigration is and thats where you'll find the biggest foreclosure problems) mortgage defaults mean lower home values for the American citizens. Car insurance, and on and on, its all inter connected. bring in the slave wage workers, drive down wages for everyone, people can't pay the bills, people default on loans, we can't get loans because home equity has evaporated because foreclosures made house worth less, then on top of that we bail out the financial system which oh by the way, needs to be world wide now and so then we had to bail out the worlds financial systems, and oh by the way we need a global bank and currency exchange and you might as well throw in a new currency because we're printing up trillions a month with nothing but the already 4 cent dollar backing it. And oh by the way, we'll have to bail out Ford and GM, and that didn't work to good so lets do it again, another $25 billion printed up. And by the way that really big global insurance company needs $135 Billion, lets print that up too. But hey, we can give the presidential candidates 5 or 6 million each, and we can still give the CEO's of these criminal financial enterprises 20 or 30 million dollar bonus's.

All the Mind Stream Media wants to make it like everything is hunky dory, the world is united, we have a new prsident. This atmosphere reminds me of the same hoopla that I heard on new years night bringing in the new millinium in 2000. It was all so wonderful and then boom, since then everything has been total hell for the American People.

I feel there is something getting ready to happen again, what will it be this time?
Unless we get those criminals & make them pay for what they have done to our country and the lawlessness they have sponsored, we are just another Mexico ourselves!

I did not watch the all day election TV coverage or the final voting process or Obama's big hoopla after the final numbers. After reading the finals on the internet...I didn't have the stomach to watch a free-for-all of wayward souls who were being led down the yellow brick road by a man who was basking in the limelight and adoration of thousands of believers who were falling at his feet. That was more than I could take after having to put up with him and his arrogance and his smirky grin for the past two years. Now it looks like someone else will have to watch him for the next four years because I sure won't be following his actions. He's not representing me and he's not my president!!!! I just hope our country can survive the next four years....and NO MORE!!!

This is all so depressing. There were some great candidates in the beginning like Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo but the Republicans were hell bent on puffing up John McCain for the position. What a bunch of idiots. Now look. We have a president who has a questionable background and who might not even be an American! But America wanted "change" and they didnt care who it was as long as it didnt resemble anything Bush stood for.

I agree with William. We lost this election the day that McDole won the primary. I feel like I have a hangover this morning but I am smiling too because the idiots that foisted him on us realize that they lost too. In their pea-brained minds they thought conservatives would back someone who stabbed us in the back repeatedly since 2006. They were wrong and this morning when they wake up they will have seen the future of the conservative party and know that they will not be a part of it. We might have lost an election but we won the fight for our party. We sent a strong message to the GOP yesterday that we do not want fake conservatives leading us. Yesterday when I stepped into the voting booth I thought about voting the straight Republican ticket but didn't. I actually voted for Bob Conley and left the rest of the slate blank. I did not vote for McCain because he has never represented my conservative beliefs. I am looking forward to a future where the Republican party actually becomes a conservative party instead of a pale imitation of the Democrats.

The GOP lost this race the day they allowed John McCain to run. It will be a long time before I vote republican again.
