Iowans kept hearing over and over again from the MSM, "ex-preacher turned politician Mike Huckabee" blah blah blah. THAT IS ALL THEY NEEDED TO HEAR. If that is how to choose a president, then BLANK BLANK BLANK.

I can't believe the outcome of the caucuses. I really thought Romney would win. I imagined it being close, but not by such a huge difference.

I am estatic that Hillary lost!

    good job of doing

We have split our loyalties some for Romney, Hunter , Ron Paul , Thompson

Iowa people only had to vote for Huck

Our votes are watered down 4 ways

We need to pick someone and support them or we will never win

No matter how you add it up , Ron Paul and Thompson took 23% away from Romney , which would have given him a victory, even if he only go half of that

Its noble to keep supporting your people but at what point do you
realize that all its doing is hurting the cause
the huckster wont win the nomination and what you say is bs.

Romney is just another CFR tool who will only get us in more wars, Ron Paul has attracted a diverse crowd many who will not vote for the GOP in the general election if he does not win.

I dont care who comes out of the GOP, if its not Ron Paul then the admitted socialist will get my vote, I am tired of the GOP letting me down pretending to be fiscal conservatives while only increasing the size of government.

As for immigration, its down to Paul or Hunter, it DOES NOT matter what the other candidates say, they are CFR backed.

If you really think Romney will address immigration, youre as delusional as the democrats who think hitlery or obama will end the war.

Like it or not Ron Paul & Duncan Hunter didn't finish well at all last night. If they preform likewise in NH, by the time Mich & SC roll around, we had better start getting behind a candidate that can win, clearly neither of them can. IT has been said that Duncan was really running for the VP slot. I like Duncan, I have met him many times when I lived in San Diego. He is a good man, but one that just doesn't have the momentum or the money needed. Single didgit candidates after NH could do more for us than any thing else by dropping out & supporting the candidate that can beat the dems, & that can fight our fight.

Romney lost to the radical religious bigots of IOWA. Romney swept every single other demographic last night. Every one.

This race will be defined before Super Tuesday. Just watch.
Ron Paul won the independent vote.

Also 65% of GOP Iowa voters believe Bush is doing a good job, lol, that is not the case for the rest of the country...

These people, if indeed Huckabee got the "religious right" vote, voted with their hearts, not brains. Often times this happens. Catholics overwhelmingly voted for Kennedy, Italians may like Guiliani etc., but in the bigger picture I still see Huckabee stumbling big. He will have a tough time in any state where the invasion has created a hostile atmosphere, unfortunately. Lets hope people wake up!!!

I agree with Nevada...gotta give it all to Romney (C plus rating).Splitting up votes to fantasy candidates will yield an OBL DEM. or REP.

What is the total "independant vote"? RP was not even half of the 4th place finish. Look, I understand optimism, I also understand that reality has to set in. Simply stated, we will know by Super Tuesday if Duncan or Ron Paul have any real legitimate legs. If they are not in the top 3 by then, it's over for them. Same holds true for Mitt.

That might be a hard pill to swallow, but that is the reality. If we continue to fragment ourselves over extremist POV on a singular issue, we all lose.

By Super Tuesday, it will have been time for those with no hope to start backing those that will be in the race past Super Tuesday.

I love Thompson's platform because he seems to be the true conservative, but where's the fire in the belly? I love Hunter but no one seems to want to vote for him. Maybe we'll get a 'surprise' candidate ...are you listening, Lou?
    are you listening, Lou
