I've wondered the same thing myself......its like the NAU without food stamps.....what exactly is sovereignty to someone who believed that we should have no immigration policy at all, and who currently believes we should eliminate tariffs? What is the objection on the grounds of sovereignty? What is the difference?
Another mis truth, when asked how he would fund the government without the IRS he plainly stated that he would do it with tariff's

    245(i)

I'm still waiting to learn where Section 245(i) amnesty for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens is located in the constitution.

I didn't want to get into the mud but what I'm seeing here , and on other forums it seems people are supporting Paul to fix the bigger problem

Yes there is a bigger problem with the nau and other things

But my goals are more short term , I will settle for starting with a small fix , fix illegal immigration and then we can fight another battle

The part I think most Paul people don't get is that if we don't fix
illegal immigration we might not have to worry about the other problems , we won't have a country

I've studied the issues , Romney offers the best chance to at least get
a start on a fix , not perfect by a long shot but a start , who knows , we may be surprised , or we may not be

I had to make that choice when Tancredo dropped out ,

As of now Paul is running , he hasn't quit and we shouldn't be
    dumping on him

Facts are one thing and should come out but I don't think
we are going to change any minds here either way

Romeny or Paul are not the enemy right now

McCain is , The Dems are , Rudi is , and so is Huck
along with the lib symps , the enablers and the people in our
govt that are enabling the invasion

Lets fight them , not each other
actuallly in my mind the the overwhelming majority of Paul voters will not vote for any other republicans, imo

    Romney=Huckabee=thompson=giuliani=mccain=Bush on steriods=CFR!!!

Bottom line is they all want to continue the increase of government, continue the endless iraq war, continue the patriot act and homeland security, continue NAFTA bring on CAFTA, continue with the powers granted to Bush that only dictators have had, on illegal immigration even though some of you think romney will actually do something about it, I highly doubt it...
and as I have stated before, who will be illegal in NAU?

Ron Paul wont drop out he has the funds to continue...

and i will write him in or vote dem, at least they admit they are socialist...
    Okay..........I have to ask this............

How can Ron Paul be against the NAU when he does not want a fence, does not plan on going after employers who are hiring illegals, and would like for the border to be WIDE OPEN as long as there is no longer welfare???
what does one have to do with another?
he thinks a fence will not be that effective, ask anyone in Miami if water has kept out haitians, jamaicans and cubans... you dont think they could just use a boat to come over?

again another, lie as has been posted on here several times, paul wants to enforce the laws, the law says go after employers...

He did not say a wide open border, not in the last 10 years....

And where does romney stand on birthright citizenship?

he voted against nafta, and cafta, where does romney stand on that?

I think what you don't get is that a lot of people don't think that Romney is that man either.

You guys are more than welcome to Support Mitt all you want but I find it funny that something negative comes out about him and they go on the attack against Ron Paul.

I seriously doubt that section or bill was only one lie, find me the whole bill or section and I will tell, imo, why Paul voted against it...

"And where does romney stand on birthright citizenship?"

Romneys stand on this means nothing , as does Pauls

Neither of them will have nothing to say about it

Either the states pushing to stop it will bring it to the supreme
court or the congress will amend the 14th

The sooner is the most likely scenario

But the President can't change it
