What does a marketing ad from McDonald's have to do with the culture of racial intolerance, hatred and violence in America?

Yep. I hear Urdu, Spanish, Polish and a couple of other languages I don't recognize on a daily basis. There are illegals from every country represented in DuPage County, IL.

Perhaps you should have looked at it. I don't see McDonalds touting "opportunities" and race specific opportunites for Asians or Hispanics or Whites. It only adds to the racial division. A large company should market to all people not just certain groups based on skin color. I think it promotes racism.

On Friday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents raided two McDonald’s restaurants in Savannah, GA and arrested several illegal aliens. The operation was the result of a nine-month investigation.

According to ICE officials, the McDonald’s managers stole the identities of U.S. citizens, and sold them to their illegal alien employees.

ICE Special Agent in Charge Jason Gialanella told the press: “These U.S citizens unknowing to a certain extent have been victimized, their credits have been potentially impacted, their good names have been tarnished.â€

The racist attack at McDonalds

In all the reports of the vicious beating of a patron in a Baltimore McDonalds by other patrons while the staff looked on, not one I read mentioned the race of the victim, the attackers, the restaurant workers who helped the attackers escape or the other patron who managed to call the police.

Could it be because the attackers and the employees are black while the victim and telephone caller are white? LiveLeak finally pointed out the obvious.

At the end, the white victim is beaten until she has a seizure, at which point the camera operator warns the female attackers to flee, because the police are on the way. Note: he makes sure to repeatedly tell the criminal attackers to flee, instead of keeping them there for the police to apprehend.

4.19 pm EST UPDATE: response from Mc Donalds: "We are shocked by the video from a Baltimore franchised restaurant showing an assault. This incident is unacceptable, disturbing and troubling. McDonald's strives to be a safe, welcoming environment for everyone who visits. Nothing is more important to us than the safety of customers and employees in our restaurants. We are working with the franchisee and the local authorities to investigate this matter."

If the situation were reversed, the incident would have dominated news and entertainment media, all ponderously discussing race relations focusing on the "pervasiveness of racism within American society."

But instead there is a lack of acknowledgment of the races involved, a nothing to see here, move along attitude.

It looks like it was a fight based upon race then. They need to be sentencing that as a hate crime either way.

In my my opininion, companys that market to groups based on skin color are promoting racism and division.

By the way, I am old enought to remember Dr. King's marches and his message and it was not about promoting one race over another, the message I took away was acceptance of every person based individual character, not their color. The racial radicals are, however, preaching a different story it seems.

To clarify, that includes all of the usual suspects, Supremists, Panthers, LaRaza, Race specific Congressional Causes etc.
