I had a chance on my break to make a couple of calls. Sen. Domenici staffer told me that he will be voting NO on any form of Dream Act. Sen. Landrieu’s staffer sounded worn out, asked me for my view on the Dream Act and said “I will mark you downâ€

I just called Voinovichs office and had a good laugh. I asked his position on it and the normal response but she said, "I'll pass your comment along." And my comment is what? She is so tired she assumed my comment was "NO" to the amendment. She said, "It's NO right?" and we both started laughing. I said you're right. Sounds like you're getting a lot of calls against it. She said, "Yes" and we laughed again. I asked, "Is your ear getting numb? and she laughed and said, its almost numb." Cute girl. Our phone calls are making an impact the know what we're going to say before we say it. LOL

Thanks Dixie and SOSAD. I was talking to Rockefellers office and next thing I knew I was hearing collins and SCHIP!
