The "jobbers" seem to be getting his attention, but will he succeed, having come to the table after so much financial carnage unleashed upon America's middle class (the greatest prosperity engine the world has ever seen)? http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid= ... uiJDCk.HD4 He needs to pay attention to this because white collar incomes have largely stagnated for the last decade. And the UK did a study and discovered that virtually ALL the job gains over there for the last decade were snapped up by immigrant guestworkers. In 2001, 9 out of 10 tech jobs created in America were reserved for guestworkers and not opened to American applicants. So, the middle class is long overdue for some TLC.

All the outcry about this actually gives me hope, because back in 2001-2002, most of the job decimation was in my industry (tech) and it was like, nobody could hear us scream. But now everybody knows something is badly wrong in our society.

The illegals will have to be weeded out of jobs. The guestworkers will have to go home. America will have to get back to making and doing things using Americans again (what a concept!).

Admittedly I see things from this angle because I am, as someone here has said, a "jobber" and have been since my layoff in 2001. It took me almost a year to find another job, and it was on the job seeker boards that I learned what an H-1B was. Later I learned about how illegals were undercutting our working poor and blue collar classes. We gotta fix this! And soon.

Anyhow, I think the likelihood that Obama will be allowed to see the full economic picture is obscured by the advisors he has chosen. There is a very real chance that he will do too little, too late, and his day in the sun will be over. Unfortunately, the Republicans were even worse stewards of the middle class in the Bush years. So those of you who are hoping that Obama takes a tumble may get your wish, but not in the way some people held out hope for.

Betsy, the Obama agenda has become clear and I don't believe we have the luxury of waiting around until the next election to see if "jobs or lack thereof" will unseat him. There is objective verifiable evidence that Obama has unconstitutionally assumed the office of POTUS. He is in the process of fundamentally changing this country. These are not ordinary circumstances that we find ourselves in, ie; we aren't in Kansas anymore... Our government is no longer FOR the people. The evidence is overwhelming. Simple person that I am, let me give my simple opinions:

How would a government take total control over a population?

1) Divide the population, turn them against each other.
>>> I have never seen our country so divided along ideological, race and religious lines.
2) Take away the means of support, ie; make the population poor.
>>> We are approaching 10% unemployment and next year is predicted to be worse than this year.
>>> Salaries are falling.
>>> Our manufacturing base is being decimated.
>>> Cap and Trade...tax the population into poverty.
>>> Spread the wealth and take away economic incentives.
3) Force the population to become totally dependent on the government.
>>> Create government controlled healthcare.
>>> Import millions of foreign workers. H1B visas explode.
>>> Import poverty. Amnesty.
4) Take over the financial/economic base of the country, ie: nationalize.
>>> Government bailout of auto companies.
>>> Government bailout of banks.
>>> Subsidize the poor with taxpayer money.
>>> Appoint criminals, communists, ideologues....czars to advise you with no accountability accept to you.
>>> Another "stimulus" on the horizon?
5) Disarm the population.
>>> Anti gun legislation.
>>> Ammunition shortages.
>>> Ammunition encoding.

If you want to know what is in a persons heart, look no further than those he surrounds himself with, look at his actions and listen to his words. Listen to what Obama himself said during his campaign.
I know this may appear to the be ramblings of a madman, a conspiracy kook. But let me assure you, I am the most sane person I know and I have been around long enough to recognize a serious threat to the survival of this country and our way of life. Obama and those who put him into power must be exposed and removed. It is an unpleasant reality but we must deal with it for the sake of our children and our country.

I don't think we'll need to wait till the next election. I don't think pandemonium is going to take that long. I've been watching the jobs issue for a decade now, and I've never seen so much uproar and fear.

As many know the evil powers on high, are running without question - and people either dont believe or wont believe or are apathetic or dont want to hear about our Constitution is being usurped.
