And to further the impact of this ad on Americans, so that the passive agressive Swedes can understand... Imagine if there was a liquor ad that had a map of scandanavia on it covered by a red flag with a reich eagle in the middle. That is the essence of what they are illustrating by their hateful ad. I am sure the scandanavians would not have liked an ad like that in the 30's. Absolut absolutely supports ethnic national socialism.

It is also clear to the rest of the wrold the damage illegals have on the US, otherwise they wouldn't champion them.

This is the most salient of all points. How does a Swedish company come up with this idea if it isn't there within the Mexican culture and within their agenda.

My husband remembers an old Guinness ad and he thinks they borrowed and twisted the concept.

It was run on Irish tv right before paddy's day. They showed clips from major cities around the world and said something along the lines of :

The world is a diverse place (showing the pictures of cities from around the world), but one day a year, something magical happens.....(Irish music in the background) EVERYONE BECOMES IRISH! (then they showed st paddy's celebrations in the US, Australia, Japan, Holland, and one other country he can't recall. the ad ended with a picture of a pint of Guinness sitting in front of a Kelley green spinning earth.

This particular ad, which ran in Mexico and has run its course, was
based upon historical perspectives and was created with a Mexican
sensibility. In no way was this meant to offend or disparage,

Well, then, perhaps they won't mind doing a version that shows a "Great Wall Of China" type structure on the entire West coast to appeal to American sensibilities!

That ad is definately hitting a very big nerve in the collective conscious of patriotic Americans.
