Wow, I just knocked back a few steps. I can't believe Steve would have let this go on. I found this forum thanks to "-----------". Quite a few others too.

This is embarressing. Man, and I had been signing all kinds of petitions over there.

At least I can still depend on my neighbor and his wife, as they got me into the JBS.

The details of the enforcement provisions in any of the bills, past or present, don't matter.

You point out the number of boarder patrol to be added each year. Bush promised during his last campaign that 2000 more boarder patrol would be added the following year. Only 200 were.

Just before the election in November they passed a 700 mile fence bill. So far only 2 miles have been built and the new amnesty bill cuts the fence to 300 miles.

You can go back and read the 1986 Immigration reform bill and see all the enforcement provisions it detailed. Not one was implemented. So why do you think it will be any different this time?
