This goes out to blue jersey
And just what would is your version of the American dream?
Is it living 12 to an apartment? Is it un-necessarily burdening our schools and hospitals? Is it demanding that our schools educate your children in your native language?, or that every government document also be written in you native language? Is it working for a wage that under-mines the pre-vailing wage, thus dis-placing American workers? Or is it sucking off social services, successfully expanding demorats welfare state? Maybe it is remitting in excess of $60 bill. annually to you r country of origin. Perhaps it is marching through our streets proudly displaying your country of origin's flag demanding rights you have no right claim, why? because this country (which is the greatest country in the world, for now) operates under the rule of law, NOT MOB RULE!!!!!
But William is correct, you are un-wittingly playing into the hands of the corporate elite, who wish for nothing more than to erase this country's sovereingty, borders, and constitution, in order to consolidate wealth and power. You and I are nothing more than servile maggots to them.
Let me ask you this, if the United states were to declare war on your country of origin, which side would your allegience fall? If you choose your country of origin, then you are not an American, legal or illegal. But I can tell you this now, the majority of Americans oppose Bush's guest worker programs, and amnesty in any form. If our legislators refuse to acknowledge the will of the American, there most assuredly will be an up-rising in this country that would make Iraq look like a social event, and will give you and your ilk a deep sense of longing for home.

Oh, I forgot something with regards to the minimum wage/ attempt to include amnesty bill in the senate. This website claims to have broken the story, though I don't know how true this is.

Eat,
No offense, but who the hell are you talking too ?
You didn't quote a text, you didn't mention a name / person you were replying too. I assume you mean BlueJersey as he was an illegal and he's an OBL who supports amnesty. You mentioned a country of origin, and he's probably one of the few that were born abroad along with Minnie in this thread. Minnie came here the right way and would always chose the US over her country of origin. My ancestors have been in the US for over 200 years. So again, who the hell were you talking too ? And the next time tone a little bit down about the Democrats instead of calling us Demorats. Anti illegal alien supporters know that we can't win this fight without each other. Democrats, Republicans, Independents that oppose illegal immigration are all welcome here. By calling us Demorats you will only have a negative impact in the issue of illegal immigration. Or do you think that 80% of Americans that oppose illegal immigration and amnesty are all Republicans??
Cassmkfarnam, thank you so much for ya help. My laptop & windows are working again as it used to be. Thanks to you !!!

This goes out to Cassie
Well Cassie,
Perhaps you neglected to read the subject line, as it clearly said, This goes out to bluejersey.
I'm no card carrying republican, I'm more like a constitutionalist.
I have written, e-mailed, faxed, both dem, and repub members of congress, as well as the RNC, and DNC, un-fortunately I have to date recieved no reply from any dem, (those are the demorats to which I refer) so don't get your knickers in a wad.. I have how-ever recieved numerous replys from a select few repubs. I do realize the need for both dems, repubs, and independants to work together on this issue, but first we must get our elected officials to recognize the problem. If there are indeed some democratic legislators who do, then they need to become more vocal, and refrain from toeing the liberal party line.
I'm afraid that at this juncture, there is not one democratic presidential contender I would entrust to occupy the Whitehouse. There are only three republicans I would vote for in 08, those being Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo, or Duncan Hunter.
And your right, socialism is not communism, but it is indeed its first cousin.

O.K. Cassie,
I hate the fact that we are once again involved in yet another military intervention, we have so many lives that have been lost not for democracy, but for corporate interest. Bush should be impeached, but I'm afraid of what economic ramifications would be unleashed on this country. After Nixon's resignation, it took quite some time to recover.
I'll be honest, I did vote for Kerry during the last election, simply because I could not bear the thought of another 4 years of Bush.
I like Buchanan, I've read a couple of his books, "Death of the west", and "where the right went wrong". He's got some great ideas.
But who I really admire is Ron Paul, he is one of only 3 congressman who did not sign the resolution to authorize Bush to declare war on Iraq.
He has launched an exploratory committee for president in 08. He also is my congressman here in Texas. He is not the typical republican, and ran as the libertarian candidate in 1988. He believes in a foreign policy of non-intervention, fiscal responsibility, limited government intrusion on the lives of Americans, as well as tax reform. As soon as he formally announces his candidacy, I plan to volunteer in his campaign. Oh, I almost forgot, he also opposes illegal immigration ( no guest worker program or amnesty deal), and recommends repealing the fourteenth amendment, that allows the astronmical number of "anchor babies" to automatically become U.S. citizens.
I can't get behind any of the democrats, simply because they have not satisfied my questions, other than to pander to illegal advocates, and support Bush's guest worker program. In my mind, they use illegals to expand their welfare state, and to use as a potential voting bloc. Have heard any of them come out and say that they are opposed to illegal immigration? I know that there are some moderates, and a couple conservatives, but none have been very vocal on this issue.
Just for the record, I greatly admired the late Molly Ivins, she will always be a part of Texas, although I know she was born in California. So, you see, I don't really abhor all democrats, just the really liberal ones, and those who put politcal gain before what is best for this country, but then, the same can be said for republicans as well.
