You're whole premise is contrary to the freedoms we stand for. You're basically saying an entire country should imprison it's people within its own borders or suffer the wrath of the United States. If I've said it once, I've said it ten times .... it's our federal governments responsibility to secure our own borders from unwanted intrusion! Your propensity to blame others for our own failures is ridiculous. You would be much better served to place the blame where it belongs and that's on our elected representatives and to some extend those of us that vote for them. It's our job to fix this, whether it be through better written immigration laws, changing policies, tougher enforcement, a border wall, a combination of all the above, or whatever. Blaming other countries for our own failures rings empty IMO.

Where did I directly attack Trump? You need to quit seeing a Trump hating boogeyman behind every corner and wake up to the reality of what's really going on. I fully understand why you're so jumpy and defensive. Trump has received a lot of negative press as of late, but my post certainly wasn't a 'picking on Trump' post. So, lower your hackles and see things for what they are.

You don't need any new legislation for Judy's Plan B. The President can order economic sanctions on these countries tomorrow subject to a notice period, 10 to 30 days. What are you talking about "claims for each illegal alien", "expense we have now"? We don't have to document anything, other than the normal arrest records at the borders and ports we already have to determine the countries we're sanctioning. What are you talking about "lawsuits for each claimed illegal alien"? The sanctions aren't based on individual illegal aliens. The sanctions are countrywide based on illegal immigration from that country, not based on some "cost" per illegal alien. The sanctions aren't to reimburse us, the sanctions are to stop it. We aren't asking them for any money, so there are no lawsuits, we're cutting off their US money, no aid from or trade with the United States until it all stops.

Do you not understand what economic sanctions are? It's what we're doing to Iran, Russia, and North Korea on trade, now Palestine and Pakistan on aid. It will stop it cold in a matter of days at no cost to the United States. It will stop before the sanctions even go into effect. Most of these countries are friendly countries, they already know we're fed up with illegal immigration from their countries and they're on thin ice with the United States on this issue. This will bring that home for them, give it some real meaning for them, put some meat on the bones of our talks with them.

It's an ideal solution to stop the flow and it will work so well and so fast that we can then ramp it up to include those already in the country, give them 90 days notice on that. We'll still be enforcing our laws and doing everything else we do.
