Why do you have her medical records, in the era of HIPAA law? How did you get them?

She scanned them and sent them to me by email to pass to those who doubted her injuries.

Yes, I just heard the latest rumor saying that Shawna Forde has now been shot in the arm while out walking and is in the hospital.

Whatever her problems are, it has become obvious that it is not because she is an officer for the self defamed and practically defunct Minuteman Project MMP.

No, don't post anything about a person's medical records. It's a violation of their privacy. There are very strict federal laws regarding priviacy and medical records.

I think Shawna Forde needs a good attorney and she needs to communicate to law enforcement and not the press or the public.

Minutemen group leader reports being shot

By Scott North and Jackson Holtz
    Herald Writers
EVERETT -- The Everett-based leader of a group that she says patrols the nation's borders looking for drug smugglers and illegal immigrants was in an Everett hospital this morning being treated for an apparent gunshot wound in the arm.

It is the third report of violence connected to Shawna Forde in Everett since Dec. 22. That's when her estranged husband was shot at his home. Forde reported being beaten and raped there a week later by intruders.

Forde, 41, reported being shot in an Everett alley Thursday night.

She was in satisfactory condition this morning at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, hospital spokeswoman Cheri Russum said. Privacy laws prohibit her offering other details.

Police were called just after 9:30 p.m. Thursday to an alley in the 1800 block of 24th Street to reports of someone screaming and the sound of a single gunshot, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.

A woman in the alley had what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the arm. She told them she was walking alone when shot, Goetz said.

In keeping with police department policies, Goetz would not directly confirm the woman was Forde. The woman who was shot was taken to the hospital with what he described as non-life threatening injuries.

She told police she was walking from the Veterans of Foreign Wars post to a friend’s house near 23rd Street and Colby Avenue, Goetz said.

The alley is less than two blocks from the home on Rockefeller where Forde's husband was shot and she later reported being sexually assaulted.

On Thursday, the woman said she believed she was being followed by somebody, turned around and was shot, Goetz said.

“The details after that, we're not real clear on,â€

They show she was examined for a reported rape and was treated for a possible concussion and bruises.
So. Just because she was examined for something does not mean it occurred. You go to the doctor and tell them what needs to be looked at and they examine it.

Besides, if this woman's life is in danger, why in the hell hasn't she moved?

If you report being attacked and raped to a hospital, they have to perform the exam if you want them to. They cannot say whether or not any of it was real or faked.

Interesting, no police photos. The hospital checked off what was and was not done. The photos previously posted on the web of the bruises were amateur and seemed to be taken inside a home.

Further down, "No evidence of serious injury has been found at this time".

I'm looking for mention of the cuts. A contusion is a bruise. Many people have minior bruises at any given time.

This story just gets stranger and stranger.

Why would a woman who's husband had been shot and says she was beaten and raped recently be walking alone in alleys at 9:30 at night?

    According to this site:

    Closed Head Injuries

Closed head injuries are the most common type, and are so called because no break of the skin or open wound is visible. These often happen as a result of rapid acceleration or deceleration, for example when a car hits a brick wall, or a car is hit from behind at traffic lights. The head is rocked back and forth or rotated, and the brain must follow the movement of the skull. It can twist, and the billions of nerve fibres which make up the brain can be twisted, stretched and even torn in the process.

Even mild injuries of this sort can produce damage which is quite widespread throughout the brain. This is defined as diffuse brain injury. The front of the skull has sharp bony ridges with which the brain can also collide, causing more damage. Arteries and veins running through the brain can be damaged, allowing blood to leak.
    According to this site:

[quote]The whiplash injury is probably the most difficult and risky case to pursue in court. Often times the imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT, etc.) will be “normal.â€
