I'm more concerned with his stance against amnesty, and that of the viable GOP candidates, he is the only one who has taken a stand against pathway amnesty (along with Thompson) and is getting slammed for this by many of the beltway elites. And I will in no way vote for McCain, Giuliani or Huckabee.
By all accounts, Romney is a very intelligent and successful fellow. Some may not like him because of this or call him "inauthentic," but I respect him.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

If you look at Schedule C on page 41 of Mitt's financial report, he fully explains in detail the Bain Capital issue.
I also checked out opensecrets to see how many donations he's received from Bain - $93,700. To me, this is a good sign because this means the people he worked with like him.
Also of note, one Bain donor gave $500 to Clinton and several Bain personnel donated to Obama.

Now that doesn't prove that they have his cell phone number on speed dial, but it does prove that he's still connected to the company that he FOUNDED that's representing a Chinese company in the buyout and takeover of an American defense contractor.
Doesn't it???
