Well - I got 10 people to email Walmart over that ad and their practices.

Each one has agreed to get 10 more people to boycott Walmart.

But a boycott is something that, except for those getting the word out, would take no time, no money, no writing. It would be costless, painless, takes no time and therefore, would be completely doable.
How do you figure a boycott wouldn't cost money? If you avoid one place, to go to another, you would still be paying for something right?.. Ontop of that, I've yet to see any place that can consistently beat Wal-MArt's prices in combination with their wide variety of goods, not to mention, it's more likely a Wal-Mart is closer to you then any other store.. So, if you go boycott and you go shopping at your local mom/pop shop, your going to be spending more to say "yeah, I drove 10 miles to shop here vs Wal-Mart and I'm spending 25% more now then I would've at Wal-Mart"..

By the way, can anyone here point out one single chain of retail stores that doesn't carry something made in Mexico?

    yeah, that what I thought..

    bootsalinda and butterbean!

Thanks for going after them. I can not beleive they had the nerve to do such a thing. I'm still steamed over it! I can't wait for them to post it on their website this weekend.

Please write Wal-Mart and comment on their Mexican Advertisement.

    Thank you for your message.

Sam Walton built Wal-Mart on a very simple belief--the
customer is the boss. That means we are always looking for better ways to serve
the people who shop at Wal-Mart. Each comment, concern and suggestion is very
important because it gives us the opportunity to improve our overall service.

Rest assured that your message has been forwarded to the proper division where it
will be reviewed and carefully considered.

Thank you for your observations. It is customers like you who help us continue
to offer everyday low prices and friendly service.

Wal-Mart has posted the Mexico circular. Search for Houston, Austin or Dallas, TX and you will see it. Also, some of the small towns have a different ads, and it looks like the one they have on their home page.

You know, there are a lot of legal hispanics in this country.. why can't Wal-Mart target some of their ad's to regions that they know a good number of hispanics are?

What your doing here is saying "it's not nice they are advertising in bilugual manners b/c I believe all those they are advertising too are illegal"..

you need to look at the bigger picture here Dixie..

We created these monsters - we can fix that

Here's the sad exchange between Home Depot and me. We all knew they are of the same ilk as Carl's Jr and Wal-Mart. Unless and until we disappear from their customer base, this will only get worse.

    Dear Home Depot,

America is nothing if not diversity. I'm Mexican, trust me, my naturalized mother made sure I learned about my country.

Business does not care what a person's color is, just if their money is good. I don't care who you work with, just don't break the law and don't
look the other way. America has been very good to you, respect her. If you interpret that to mean that you have to stop being nice to a particular
group, then you aren't being nice to me. I am a member of a group equally deserving of your capital interest.

Hiring qualified candidates for employment means they must be here legally. You cannot proceed to asking about their skills if they are not in
jurisdiction. Don't be greedy and don't dodge responsibility by claiming
all the documents look real to you. Validate SSNs, you know how, announce it, and I'll stop being suspicious of you.

Oh, and I've noticed - you do go out of your way to make sure that a certain government document is real: $100 bills.

As you demonstrate a talent for balancing on a fence, currying my favor,
along with that of groups with not-so-secret agendas should be easy for you.

I look forward to hearing your announcement that you are forging alliances
with the rest of the immigrants' labor representative organizations. I
believe you are equally sensitive to the Italians, Russians, Chinese and
Pakistanis - right? I also pay attention to what you don't do.

No offense, but calling Customer Service would be an exercise in futility,
and you know it. I refuse to press 1 for English.

    With sincere continuing interest,

    [Iig]

The more you keep letting illegal aliens loiter on or near your property,
the more I drive on by to Lowe's. [I was not able to confirm this fully when I wrote this note.] If they do the same (which I've yet to
see), I'll go somewhere else. You're not indispensable.
And oh yes, if you hire people with bogus SSN, which is so darn easy to
check it's not funny, you just need to do it, then you're breaking the law.
Another reason to go to Lowe's.
