Plaintiff Phil J. Berg filed two motions today seeking an expedited resolution in Berg v. Obama. (PDF's of the motions are attached below.)

Serious Questions Emerge About Obama's U.S. Citizenship

For weeks, internet blogs have been abuzz with questions regarding the validity of Obama's U.S. citizenship. Only recently have these questions been given serious consideration

Philip Berg, lifelong Democrat and Philadelphia lawyer, filed a lawsuit August 8, 2008, challenging Obama's claim of U.S. citizenship. The lawsuit could be resolved if Obama simply produces his birth certificate, which he has yet to do.

Questions have arisen about the birth certificate Obama initially placed on his web site. Well known Fact Check.org, attested to its authenticity but, as this video produced by Philip Berg shows, serious questions remain. Berg has pointed out that FactCheck.org is associated with the Annenberg Foundation, upon whose board Obama once sat.

Obama's grandmother has allegedly claimed to have been present at Obama's birth - in a hospital in Kenya. (Obama has taken the unprecedented step of suspending his campaign two weeks before the election in order to visit with his grandmother in Hawaii.) Obama's half-sister claims differently.

To date, the questions swirling around Obama's birth certificate have not been investigated or aired by any major media outlet. WPTV of West Palm Beach Florida is the only credible source to address this issue. They report, "The Obama camp and Democratic National Committee responded to the lawsuit by filing a motion to dismiss, but they never responded to the request for admissions."

Newsbusters.org, yesterday also reported on these allegations, as did conservative talk show host, Michael Savage.

RightBias.com considers William Berg's video compelling enough to be seriously considered. Though we have not done an in-depth investigation, the fact that Obama has yet to produce his birth certificate raises valid questions.

This video is app. 9 minutes long. Every American should have access to the information it contains in order to decide for themselves the veracity of Berg's allegations.

Heard Berg was on Michael Savage radio as well as G. Gordon Liddy. Some comments also said Hannity might have the story soon on his show.

Democrat: Obama's grandma confirms Kenyan birth

The Pennsylvania Democrat who has sued Sen. Barack Obama demanding he prove his American citizenship – and therefore qualification to run for president – has confirmed he has a recording of a telephone call from the senator's paternal grandmother confirming his birth in Kenya.

The issue of Obama's birthplace, which he states is Honolulu in 1961, has been raised enough times that his campaign website has posted an image purporting to be of his "Certification of Live Birth" from Hawaii.

But Philip J. Berg, a former deputy attorney general for Pennsylvania, told the Michael Savage talk radio program tonight that the document is forged and that he has a tape recording he will soon release.

"This has been a real sham he's pulled off for the last 20 months," Berg told Savage. "I'll release it [the tape] in a day or two, affidavits from her talking to a certain person. I heard the tape. She was speaking [to someone] here in the United States."

He said the telephone call was from Obama's paternal grandmother affirming she "was in the delivery room in Kenya when he was born Aug. 4, 1961."

Berg said he's pursuing the issue because of "the most important document in the United States," the U.S. Constitution.

"Nothing is more important than enforcing the Constitution," he said. "The Constitution's provisions are very small for qualifying for president. One, be over 35, and he is. Two, be in the country 14 years, and he has been. Three, be a natural-born citizen. He is not."

Obama campaign officials acknowledged the dispute by posting the image purporting to be a copy of his certification of live birth earlier this year. But they've declined to return WND requests for comment on the issues.

WND reported earlier this week Berg's claim that Obama has legally "admitted" the accusations included in his lawsuit, including that he was born in Mombosa, Kenya, by not responding to the allegations.

Berg filed suit in U.S. District Court in August alleging Obama is not a natural-born citizen and is thus ineligible to serve as president of the United States.

His lawsuit is demanding that the courts verify Obama's original birth certificate.

Berg has cited Rule 36 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, which states that unless the accused party provides written answer or objection to charges within 30 days, the accused legally admits the matter.

Since Obama filed only motions to dismiss the case and did not actually answer the claims, according to Rule 36, Obama has legally admitted he is not a natural-born citizen., asserted Berg, who has taken his information public through his website.

Berg addressed the existence of a birth announcement in the Honolulu Advertiser newspaper, featured on the Atlasshrugs2000 website, that suggests Obama was born in the city Aug. 4, 1961.

But Berg explained to Savage he believes Obama's mother was near pregnancy and unable to travel by plane, so Obama was born in Kenya. The family then traveled to Hawaii and registered the birth and submitted the newspaper announcement.

Besides Berg's lawsuit, several other court challenges also have been filed, including one in Washington state where petitioners are seeking to have the Washington secretary of state "verify Obama's eligibility" to serve prior to the election.

The claim states, "The 'certificate' that Mr. Obama has posted on his official Website is a 'Certification of Live Birth,' and not a 'Birth Certificate' from Hawaii. There is no indication on even this certificate as to specifically where the birth took place."

Berg also told Savage there is no information available on which hospital Obama's mother used in Hawaii.

The Washington state case also alleges, "Wayne Madsen, Journalist with Online Journal as a contributing writer and published an article on June 9, 2008, stating that a research team went to Mombassa, Kenya, and located a Certificate Registering the birth of Barack Obama, Jr. at a Kenya Maternity Hospital, to his father, a Kenyan citizen and his mother, a U.S. citizen.

When Jerome Corsi, senior WND investigator reporter, recently traveled to Kenya to investigate several questions about the candidate, he was told the records were sealed and would not be made available.

Though it hasn't given Berg the evidence he seeks, the Obama campaign has publicly answered allegations that the candidate was born in Kenya and faked his Hawaii birth certificate.

"Smears claiming Barack Obama doesn't have a birth certificate aren't actually about that piece of paper," says the "Fight the Smears" section of Obama's website, "they're about manipulating people into thinking Barack is not an American citizen.

"The truth is, Barack Obama was born in the state of Hawaii in 1961, a native citizen of the United States of America," the campaign website states. It also includes images of the Hawaii certificate bearing the name Barack Hussein Obama II.

The Washington claim states, "If in fact Obama was born in Kenya, the laws on the books in the United States at the time of his birth stated if a child is born abroad and one parent was a U.S. Citizen, which would have been his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, Obama's mother would have had to live ten (10) years in the United States, five (5) of which were after the age of fourteen (14). At the time of Obama's birth, his mother was only eighteen (1 and therefore did not meet the residency requirements under the law to give her son (Obama) U.S. Citizenship much less the status of 'natural born.'"

Berg said he believed it also was a complication that Obama's mother divorced his father, married and moved to Indonesia for several years and Obama attended school there at a time when, Berg said, only Indonesia citizens were allowed in schools. Records that are available from Indonesia revealed Obama was registered in school as Barry Soetoro, and his religion was listed as Islam.

When Obama later returned to Hawaii, within the United States, there should have been a government document affirming his citizenship, but that also cannot be found. If that was not processed properly, Berg said, Obama would be in a situation even worse than not being a natural-born citizen.

"If he didn't go through immigration, he now is illegal and has been an illegal alien. He couldn't even hold the position of senator for Illinois," Berg said.

Further, Berg said he suspected Obama's college records may indicate he received aid as a foreigner, and that's why those records have been withheld by the campaign.

"I really think it's because it probably indicates he's from Kenya, or Indonesia, or received foreign aid," Berg said.

"I feel very confident saying these things," Berg told Savage.

WND senior investigative reporter Jerome Corsi, who recently returned from a trip to Kenya with revelations about Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's participation in a foreign nation's internal politics, now has been dispatched to Hawaii to uncover the truth of the senator's Hawaiian birth.

The issue has been raised multiple times during the 2008 presidential campaign, with a number of court cases already being launched that demand documentation about Obama's birth place. One prominent Pennsylvania Democrat, Philip Berg, has alleged that Obama was born not in Hawaii at all but in Kenya.

Corsi plans to be in Hawaii for several days to review the evidence and records in the dispute.

He was able to travel even though a chronic health condition landed him on his back following his Kenya trip, especially after he was detained by armed Kenyan soldiers and immigration officials for most of the last day he was in Nairobi, which prevented him from holding a news conference to discuss his discoveries there.

Corsi said he is working with medications that have partially relieved the pain and he's continuing his effort to discover the truth.

Corsi reported that when he was in Kenya he was told that Obama actually was born not in Honolulu but in Mombosa, on the Kenyan coast. He also said he was told by government officials there all those records were sealed and nothing could be released.

While in Nairobi Corsi obtained documentation linking Obama to the nation's prime minister, Raila Odinga, who was appointed to the position to stop a wave of violence by Muslim supporters.

Corsi went at the invitation of Christian missionaries who contend the rise of Islam in the African nation has been spurred by an agreement Odinga signed with Muslim leaders in an effort to win the presidency last December. Odinga lost but now shares power with the Kenyan president to appease Islamic leaders.

Corsi's highly critical book examining Obama's career, "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality," remains on the New York Times best-seller list after its publication Aug. 1. The book was No. 1 on the list for four straight weeks after its launch.

In a chapter of "The Obama Nation" titled "Kenya, Odinga, Communism, and Islam," Corsi says Obama supported the candidacy of Odinga, a Luo tribesman like Obama's father, in the 2007 Kenyan presidential election, opposing current president Mwai Kibaki, a member of Kenya's largest tribe, the Kikuyu.

Corsi revealed that Obama not only campaigned for Odinga but raised almost $1 million during the run-up to that nation's 2007 presidential election, and Corsi also uncovered Odinga's written agreement with Muslim leaders stipulating that if they delivered him the Muslim vote, Odinga would in turn, once elected, change the constitution to declare Islamic law as the ruling authority in Muslim-dominated regions, protect terrorists and muzzle Christian evangelism.

Odinga was named prime minister in Kenya after his campaign called for protests of an election he lost by more than 200,000 votes to incumbent Mwai Kibaki. The resulting violence by marauding Muslim mobs left 1,000 people dead, hundreds of thousands displaced from their homes and 800 Christian churches damaged or destroyed. No Islamic mosques were damaged, however.

Among the worst attacks occurred when several dozen women and children sought refuge in a Christian church which mobs burned down on top of them.

Should Obama be elected, can we expect something similar here?

Will Odigna be appointed to some position in the administration to stop a wave of violence and attacks by Muslims on American soil, and elsewhere, targeting American citizens and others? Why has the chance that he will be the POTUS, been such a cause of celebration among Muslim leaders and followers worldwide? What possible reason would Islam have to be so excited over the potential presidency of Obama as an American and a Christian?

I'm sorry, but nothing would shock me in the least. I've wondered about a lot of things for awhile now, not the least of them being WHY a senator of the US is being treated as though he is of the same political importance in Kenya as those who actually are.

Why has it been so necessary for Obama to have such all encompassing support and loyalty of, not just the Kenyan government, but the population as well?

Why have we seen Kenyan citizens, and others living there, being made fearful of daring to utter one word that is negative or in dissent of this man. What possible difference does it make to anyone....Obama, the Kenyan government, etc........how those living in Kenya feel about him or any other US political figure?

Why have we seen the tactics, used against persons seen as being critical of the government of the host country, used against people like Dr. Corsi who was there, not to cause problems for the Kenyan government, but to research a fellow American citizen and an elected official of THIS country?

If one didn't know better, one would really think that Obama is very much a Kenyan political figure.

The kind of thing we've been seeing with Kenya/Obama is comparable to a country which sends it's top athlete to the Olympics and is cheering him on from the home country to bring home the gold in some competition or another.

It just so happens that this time the competition is for POTUS.

More questions arise over this. Not just questions about WHY Obama would have gone out of his way to involve himself in a foreign election to such an extent because that can always be explained as a misguided act to help his uncle. Or that his inordinate amount of popularity there was not anything he had any control over.

The bigger question remains why....as both an American and a Christian....he would have supported such ideals. As either, and both, Obama should be appalled by the very thought of Islamic law, let alone Islamic law in government, the protection of terrorists, etc.

Likewise, as a US senator and someone wanting to become POTUS, this should be the last thing in the world he supports and assists someone who does support it in their efforts to inflict it upon a population.

But he did exactly that. And, he was called on the carpet by the Kenyan government over it as well.



Questions, questions, and more questions

Latest rumors state the judge will issue a ruling today that will shock those who think it will be dismissed for lack of standing.

Fox News just reported that Obama will be incognito and will take no interviews while in Hawaii. Also, Grandma is at home, not in the hospital like we've been led to believe.
