I have followed the sources since the day that this thread was introduced, and none of these "sources" has any evidence. It is all he said/she said, which is not proof nor evidence. Also, these websites given are from the far right fringe of the republican party. Of course they are contesting this with no evidence, their guy didn't win. It would be the same if McCain were president, and the far left would be trying to say McCain wasn't a citizen, even though he is.

I do believe there is enough PROBABLE CAUSE to warrant looking at the records. We have the right to know. IF Obama is a citizen, then we can all get past this. IF he is not, that too needs to be dealt with.

jshhmr, I agree, there is too much speculation and not enough evidence.
I just wish this whole thing would go away. It is an annoyance and a distraction and needs to be brought to a final conclusion. Oh, one thing though, I don't belong to the far right or far left of any party, so, maybe I don't really have a dog in this hunt? I'll give you a hint, I voted for Ross Perot way back when. Call me crazy, or not. Honestly, I despise both parties in power and don't trust them one iota. I don't and never have subscribed to conspiracy theories. As a graduate engineer I cringed at those that presented "evidence" of a 911 conspiracy. In my analysis the evidence was a sham and didn't stand up to scrutiny at any level. Regarding the current BC issue, I hope it's not true and goes away...I want the sanctity of the office of President to be maintained. I want our current President to be the greatest President of all time. Am I alone in this thinking? Not by a long shot. Ok, enough about me. But as a citizen of this country I have deep concerns that something isn't right. How do I arrive at my conclusions? Common sense and investigative analysis. I review all the data and information and formulate a sense of what is likely true and what is highly improbable. Example: President Obama has been in this country for many years, became a U.S. Senator and now President. Therefore, he MUST be eligible for POTUS. Right? Now apply that same logic to the 911 terrorists. They had remained undetected among the U.S. citizenry for months and years yet nobody questioned the legality of their presence and the extent of their intentions. The flaw in both cases is that there is an assumption that proper vetting was done. Historically, for POTUS, this vetting was done by unbiased, investigative members of the MSM. However, even hard core Dems. would concede that the MSM during Obama's election campain was hardly objective. Your counter argument might be "The vetting of a Presidential candidate is far more extensive than the vetting of an unknown terrorist in our midst". Oh really? One only need look at the long list of the tax cheats, thieves, liars and murderers among our government members and electorate to conclude that improper vetting was done. How is it that these undesirable characters slipped through the net? Simple. It was in the political self interest of them and those around them for these individuals to be put into positions of power. In fact, it is near impossible to argue the fact that it is far easier for a poser, liar or cheat to get into positions of power in our government than it is for a terrorist with the capability of killing thousands to slip into our country...undetected. The objective evidence is there. So, you ask why do we continue to smell a rat, even though our government says there is no rat? Answer, we should trust our own sense of smell rather than a government who tells us "there is nothing to smell".

TexasBorn, I think I understand where you are coming from now. I don't trust the government as far as I can throw them. All I can say is keep getting as much info as you can and maybe something can be done.

By the way, the very first time I voted was for Perot as well I have never voted for a democrat or republican presidential candidate.

Cayla, I believe that what they are saying is true. The MSM, I can't remember when, stated basically the same thing. This doesn't make me comfortable as well. Really opens ones eyes.

jshhmr, glad to hear that we both have the same level of distrust! truly, it's a real distraction for me and I wish that I could just look the other way and go about my own business. After all, I'm currently out of work and need to become gainfully employed again!

93, the blocking of records may not be illegal but we should question the motives behind such a clearly intentional effort ! Our elected officials should be and MUST be transparent to those that elected them. This includes their background as you have suggested. Yes, I AM ALARMED!

When I first heard about this whole idea, I laughed at the lunacy. I mean, surely he wouldn't be running unless he is qualified right? But the further I look into this, the more questions I have and the less answers seem obvious. On my old computer, which I can no longer log onto with out mega tech bucks I don't have, I had a link. On this link was a youtube clip showing the DNC admitting they didn't vet him but that was ok, the FBI did. Then the FBI said that they didn't vet him, but that was ok, the Senate did. Then there is our good friend Harry assuring us that the DNC has thoroughly vetted Obama. Looks like nobody vetted Obama.

I personally could not care less about the birth cert, however, IF he fraudulently used 39 social security number as mentioned in one suit, I would love to see the evidence and hear the reason why. IF he ever traveled on a passport that was not a US passport, I think we need to know because a natural born citizen certainly can not be a duel citizen because they must only have one loyalty. That leads us to the duel citizenship or single Kenyan citizenship theory, which seems more believable by the day. When the Constitution was written, it was well known that a natural born citizen was not merely someone who had his/her citizenship bestowed upon them at birth. To be a natural born citizen, one must be born with TWO citizen parents. My youngest son is a citizen of the US, He is also a citizen of the Republic of Ireland. Although he is a citizen by birth, he is not a natural born citizen.
