I am sick to death of stories of the poor illegals. Well it is time that the American citizens stories be heard!

Jobs being lost, crime, drugs, neighborhoods being destroyed. There are MANY stories to tell. What do you think?
    Ohflyingone,

    Great idea!

I thought about setting up an entire site or this sorta thing called "Hiremeimlegal.com" it would have a classifieds area and everything for legal workers and businesses to find each other.

After all, some young people have to work two or three jobs per family just to pay the rent.
    JJ,

I agree with you here. I have read and sometimes commented on lazy Americans who won't move their butts and get active. Many people in our society are not only parents but work full-time. With these two factors it is difficult to find time for anything else. This is especially true for single parents who also hold down jobs. If I was employed on top of this, I probably wouldn't even be a member of Alipac or any other non-profit. I wouldn't even have the time to check the news.

Still this is a very critical issue and with what is happening to America, I believe the stakes are higher for parents and grandparents. I certainly don't want my children to live in third world poverty and corruption. Still, many people are just trying to work, scrape by financially and parent their children.

Ohflyinhone, I am game. I have already shared my story with my own two senators, who basically said, "so sad, but we cannot condone discrimination of any kind in America". Although the discrimination of the American people themselves seems to be alright!!

I'll put together a comprehensive atory of ourselves, and hopefully of other families we know and we can start a new topic just for that.

Oh, yes, it is perfectly all right to discriminate againt Americans. Weren't you aware? But don't you dare say one word against those illegal aliens, no matter where they came from.

Oh I am so sick of it all grrr........ Ron Wyden is the worst. Gordon Smith is a fence rider all the way. Whatever Ron says to him, goes. So if Ron Wyden tells Gordon Smith that it would be discriminatory to vote to oust those "poor immigrants", then Gordon will vote against it. Now of course this is my take on their little buddy system they have together.

In Multnomah county Oregon, land of the liberals and socialists, it is so thick here, you could spoon it!!

These people here are against anything American, decent, right and moral. If you speak out against them, they just stand there with their mouths open wondering how you could have the audacity to think different from them.

These folks here want to get universal health care for all Oregonians, but I think it would be a huge magnet for illegals and bums from around the country. Especially the illegals. I do not have health insurance myself, but I'd rather not, and scrape by, rather than give illegals a reason to suck up from our funding. Besides, there is nothing in the constitution, state or national, that guarantees free access to health insurance.

Lately though I have noticed a lot of people where I live are starting to speak out and also kind of give the illegals the cold shoulder publicly, as a type of protest to their presence. It has become apparent in the stores, restaurants etc...

I shunned them all week end at the stores I went to. It felt bad to me because I hate being mean to people or give them ugly looks for no apparent reason but I had to keep my resolve.

I know exactly how you feel. It's in my nature to be polite and courteous to people. That's the reason I love visiting the south, especially Virginia. The people there are so incredibly nice. Think about them waving their mexican flags and demanding their "rights" it works for me everytime.

Imagine 1/2 million of them taking to the streets demanding we give them what their country wont and the cities economy didn't collapse .Maybe "W" is wrong and we can do without them.
